- Hey guys, so like I'm totally obsessed with this TV Show right now (as you can probably tell!) Kara and Alex have an amazing relationship together and Melissa and Chyler totally killed it in the most recent episode.
I held off finishing this video for S02E06 after seeing the stills and I was right! Another reason I wanted to get this video done was because right now I'm shooting a student film...well two actually, one this week and one next week so I probably won't have enough time to edit, which is why I wanted to get this done.

That scene when Kara cried as she apologized for what she did on Red K gets me every time. I always tear up cause of how well Melissa did it. She's really crying and Chyler almost cries cause of how badly this hurt Kara. That whole scene was just incredibly emotional

That's true but I think the writers know what they're doing. They're addressing it in the upcoming episode.

I am literally near tears at this. I haven't been up to date with all of the Supergirl episodes, but wow compiled like this you really see the emphasis on their relationship! I love Kara and Alex. They just really care about each other. It's so sweet.They are soulmates.

Kara and Alex have the same relationship as Laurel and Sara. Both parties are sisters where the elder sister served as the younger's motivation for self-acceptance: Alex motivated Kara to be Supergirl the same way Laurel motivated Sara to accept her vigilante identity and later join the Legends of Tomorrow. In fact, if Laurel hadn't died and she and Alex somehow met, they would have bonded over how they both inspired their respective sisters to be who they are

I watch Alex and Kara scenes with fresh eyes these days. Alex deserved a life after giving everything to be the person Kara needed after all the trauma she went through. Alex literally became Kara's human shield, protecting her heart from pain. Kills me to watch sometimes because Alex was so selfless. As the show went on, they changed Alex's character to become more focused on a life and family of her own. This offended a lot of people because they felt it was out of character for Alex to abandon Kara. But the show handled this far better than people realize. They didn't have Alex just move on, they showed Alex actively passing the torch to none other than Lena Luthor. During season 6 we got to witness Alex observing how Lena was around Kara, she watched Lena place Kara above all else, supported Kara just like Alex herself does, and willingly endanger herself to protect Kara. Lena didn't take Alex's role in Kara's life, Alex gave it to her after carefully watching and insuring Kara would always have someone who placed her above everything else. Kara would never place herself first which is why Alex always did. With Lena now in that role, Alex could finally build a life for herself, she earned that.

I've never actually cried watching or making an edit which is really weird because I'm a very emotional person. Sometimes I get goosebumps or lumps in my throat but that's as close at it's come watching other edits.

Oh, good, that it'll be available in other media if this site takes it down, but I really don't think they will, so long as proper citation of credit is given, regarding copyright ownership- they'd not have any reason nor ability to do so in that case.
I'm glad to support you in this regard, as this's one of my favorite shows and pairings, precisely due to the platonic nature of their bond. As I've said, many of the other bonds these gals have are significantly less respectable, but this one is infinitely respectable- the platonic nature makes it so.

Aw, thank you so much I'm glad you like them. I wasn't overly proud of this edit to be honest but I guess that's just my opinion as the editor I can see what's wrong with it from my perspective. Their sisterly bond was what has drew me to the show too, and is literally one of the only seasons I stay for the show, are for those moments.
