This is an anime which doesn't have the most complex plot, not a lot of insane tragedy and no insane back to back action sequences like most popular Shonen. And yet this is the anime where I've cried the most and laughed the most. I absolutely adore this show and every single character in it, I hope you get to see it one day!
Yeah the series understands that what really matters for a story is if the audience cares about the characters. You could have the craziest, most epic and imaginative plot ever, but none of it matters if we don't care about the characters. On the other hand, if you have the most mundane, barebones plot possible, but you make the audience care about the people in it, then you've succeeded.

Mob Psycho recently finished the anime. It is both my favorite anime and manga of all time, and I feel like it is something that has actually impacted my life in some way. It is incredibly funny, well written, tense, and sometimes even heartbreaking. I've cried so much to this series lol. I definitely recommend it!

I agree, JoJo's is objectively not a 10/10 as it has too many flaws but mob psycho is. Sure season 1 is not as good as the others and I would even say alone by itself season 1 is a 8 or maybe 9/10 but season 2 is where it transforms into a 10/10 and together with season 3 it all ties into season 1 also beeing a 10/10 as you can finally see it's pretty much just exposition and world building in order to tie it all together, the writing and character depth is really reaaalllly good which you would never expect with only season 1. Goated show, goated character goated everything.

Studion Bones went all in on making this show, including making a band just to do the songs for each season. Every opening has just enough to give you a preview of the season without spoiling anything and give you the general message of the season.
Mob Psycho has one of the best portrails (and perhaps my favourite portrail) of anxiety and inner struggle. Mobs struggle and fight, despite sounding a bit cringe, perhaps, has motivated me more to overcome myself where I previously only felt fear. To endure for the long run, endure pain and dare to confront my fears and most importantly, to stand back up every time I fail. Its not that easy ofc and doesnt always work, but its nice to have a series that so accurately describes these feelings and struggles.
Aahhh I was just thinking that you would like this show! The last episode has just come out and I gotta say this is one of my favourite anime I 100% recommend it. There's tons of funny moments, as well as heart felt ones and to top it off the animation is incredible. The action scenes are all brilliant but the characters and their relationships are the highlight of this show

Third opening is pretty much a love letter to ONE (the artist behind Mob Psycho and One Punch Man), Mob Choir (the band doing the musical parts of the openings and several members in Studio Bones are huge fans of ONE'S work.
Finally! Also u gotta react to this show. Its a masterpiece 10/10. The ending was Beautiful & satisfying, which is rare now days. Alot of great anime have been having poorly executed endings sadly.

This is ironically one of the best takes I've seen on the reactions for these openings at 9:25. These openings are exactly that. Season 3 things are referenced in op1 it's nuts. Wasn't expecting the vtuber to see it.
that first part of opening 2 is based on an early way of animation. it's a diorama that gets spun around, but due to the viewer looking at it through a slits in the back wall (kinda like how the paper with slits is passed through at 6:55), it seems that it's fully animated.

The anime you were asking about ~8:58 was something like the Realist Hero Rebuilds the Kingdom. I read the manga a while ago, and it's pretty entertaining. All i remember is that it's about a guy rebuilding a kingdom, and fantasy is involved.

These openings are so damn packed with meaning and since you watched it, you can notice that the explosion that turns into brokkoli is simply a spoiler, just that you had no way of guessing that before. They also are packed with love for manga and animation, when the title is shown in the first/second op, you see manga panels and in the third you see previous scenes of the show. They're so good it's unreal. ONE other thing to note is what they did at the end of the last op, BONES, the animation studio, turns into ONE, the author of the manga, and that becomes part of "one and only one" from the lyrics. Especially for the second I recommend listening to the full version, it somehow gets better the more you listen to it.

Mob psycho is one of my favorite animes!!! The main character is really r elatable to me since he reminds me of how I was in middle school (I have anxiety and adhd and probably numerous other mental problems lol). The animation in this series is also super unique and beautiful. I'd be super happy if you reacted to this series. It's definitely popular, but I still feel like it is massively underrated.
i'm just gonna put this here, these reaction made me think you should react to the monogatari series. it's one of my favorite animes and watching it always meke me think. the opening do like you said about hiding spoilers in plain sight and it's really exiting to watch them back and fineìd them, and lastly all the opening for the series are sung by characters in the show so there are a lot of opening as there are a lot of characters.

at the ending of op 1 the last scene shows mob destroy everything with his power but at the ending of op 2 it shows he's rebuilding everything bc he has his friends along wiht his now AAH I LOVE THIS SHOW I CANT WAIT FOR THE POLL
Mob psycho is one of my favorite animes!!! The main character is really r elatable to me since he reminds me of how I was in middle school (I have anxiety and adhd and probably numerous other mental problems lol). The animation in this series is also super unique and beautiful. I'd be super happy if you reacted to this series. It's definitely popular, but I still feel like it is massively underrated.
i'm just gonna put this here, these reaction made me think you should react to the monogatari series. it's one of my favorite animes and watching it always meke me think. the opening do like you said about hiding spoilers in plain sight and it's really exiting to watch them back and fineìd them, and lastly all the opening for the series are sung by characters in the show so there are a lot of opening as there are a lot of characters.
So many great anime openings out there. Mob Psycho 100 was consistently great.

All three openings reference various animation terchniques/steps, from layering to rotosscopes etc.

Also funnily enough this video reminded me that I somehow missed season 3 :D Gotta go watch that asap. Also if you want some recommendations definitely watch the Noragami openings. The show is good but the openings are bangers.

Now that I've started season 3 my latest favourite thing about the intros is they are all contain elements from all three seasons. Shows they planned out the series in advance, just like it shows in the consistent quality.
