NO MORE 2-3-2 LAYOUT 😅 🥳 🎉 🍾 from Geneva to Dubai vv Good News just coming in TODAY from Emirates: The first upgraded Emirates Boeing 777 products will operate on the following services: · EK 83/84 to and from Geneva from 11 August 2024. All Business Class seats on the newly refurbished Boeing 777 focus on personalised privacy and elevated comfort, converting to a comfortable flat bed, with 20.7 inch wide seats, pitched up to 44 inches apart. The staggered seating arrangement ensures aisle access for every seat, with direct entry and exit for customers. The seat is accentuated with a touch screen seat controller for in-flight entertainment and seat operation, a personal 23-inch HD screen, one of the biggest in the skies, linked to the airline’s award-winning ice entertainment system, in addition to a personal mini-bar, a large table, and ample stowage for personal devices, charging outlets and much more. The Boeing 777 Business Class cabin will also include a small bar for customers to quickly grab mid-flight snacks and refreshments.
You didn’t address the seat configuration. 2 - 3 - 2 Paying top dollar to have to climb over the legs of the person beside you if you’re on the inside seating is unacceptable.
I agree, this aircraft and cabin type is not ideal for a solo traveller assigned to a middle seat but it’s great if travelling with the family and there are 2 or more travelling together. It was just a quick short video I wasn’t planning on filming on this flight so it was just a last minute bite size video with not as much information as my usual full flight reviews
Not all yet but Emirates is doing a mammoth refurbishment on their fleet. This is an interesting article which you might be interested: www.emirates.com/media-centre/emirates-undertakes-largest-known-fleet-retrofit-project-as-part-of-multi-billion-dollar-investment-to-elevate-customer-experience/# "The target is to completely retrofit four Emirates aircraft from start to finish every month, continuously for over 2 years. Once the 67 earmarked A380s are refreshed and back in service, 53 777s will undergo their facelift. This will see nearly 4,000 brand new Premium Economy seats installed, 728 First Class suites refurbished and over 5,000 Business Class seats upgraded to a new style and design when the project is complete in April 2025."
all 777-ER flight have this 2-3-2 layout, interior wise there are many routes from Indonesia and Australia that still have the pre-refurbished designs (no minibar at the front and seats, old seats)
Apart from high standards throughout, 2-3-2 seat configuration is very unusual for an airline as cutting edge as Emirates. They will lose to competitors for this high end of the market.
I agree ☝️ 2-3-2 should never be for Business. Premium economy or economy, definitely NOT for business. There has been numerous feedback about this already and I’m sure Emirates is aware of it 😅👍

Good job. I personally prefer this one traveling as a family of five with two young ones.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the experience too 😊👍

Are all the 777-ER in business like this? or just some?

The “new” 777 from Emirates with uncomfortably 2 3 2 at row, never again. The big A380 have 1 2 1, that is perfect. Qatar with same plane 777 : 1 2 1.
Yeah 2:3:2 from any airline should never be considered as an option for business class 🙄😒
2 3 2 for business class! Not a hope in hell I would fly that
Yeah not the best configuration 😂
That's crazy!
