That is really wild! I have seen people take the bodies off and put them on other small RCs but I have never seen one of the minis turned into a working RC! Great job! That was too cool watch it running around!
Thanks Adam for the awesome comment! I am kind of overly obsessed with these mini4WD RC conversions…fortunately i found it as enjoyable building the VQS 1/10 which is my first 1/10 car, watching your channel had drawn me closer to the 1/10 cars for sure! 😍
@@terence79chan I am glad you are enjoying the larger scale ones. They are wonderful and a ton of fun. Sadly way more expensive and take up lots more room though!! 😂
Thanks for your compliment. The hardest part is soldering the “ T-bone” for the front wheel, I found using the Tamiya steering system set Part 15258 easier, I made a video on that conversion too.
Thanks for your question. I will not be making another or accepting any commissioned requests for it , mainly due to the lack of time (thanks to day job and house chores 😔) and a backlog of projects is piling up. I hope this video is of use if you plan to build one yourself.
Hi Rex, thanks for dropping by. I have lots of crazy ideas in my head. So much to do but so little time after work. I don’t think I will ever have the time to make any kits for selling. 😂
Thanks for the interesting comment. Tamiya has a re-re mini RC Grasshopper that looks pretty cute. However, it is close to 1/18 scale which is still too big for my liking.

I really want to do this to a couple of mine but I just do not have the skills to do it at all. Unbelievable work mate

The work you’re doing on these cars is truly next level man 👍👍👍
Thanks for your compliment! Greatly appreciated.

Another brilliant video bruddah!! Really love to watch ur mini 4WD/RC conversions!!! Great job man
Thanks bro! I’m glad you like this new method of RC conversion for the mini 4wd.
@@terence79chan love it man. My only grip is that its way more costly than the kit itself.. hahah otherwise I'd have done mine too!
Bro this is some next level stuff man! Awesome vid!!
Thanks for your support bro!

@@terence79chan thx Terence. No worries :) all the best
If you want the stl files for this. Go to the original makers video. The channel name is upload apapun.
Bravo!
Thanks for watching!
Have you ever consider making a conversion kit to sell?
Hi Rex, thanks for dropping by. I have lots of crazy ideas in my head. So much to do but so little time after work. I don’t think I will ever have the time to make any kits for selling. 😂
Is your Servo Holder is DIY?
The servo holder is included in the zip file when I purchased the STL files. I had to shave off some plastic to make my servo fit in it though.
I’d like to make one. Would you be willing to sell those parts. I don’t have a 3D printer.
sorry, I do not sell 3d printed parts. You may upload the STL files at shapeways.com and they will be able to print them for you.
That's awesome.. You lost me about half way... Way too much work.. Would be cool if Tamiya came out with re re RC Minis from the classics.
