Love the "you know what he's like" such a real moment listening to Hozier and wondering if I have missed an assigned reading or a reference to Myth or Folklore.

Everything about the sound of Nobody's Soldier is amazing, he not only used that progression that sound like bombs alert but he used that psychedelic rock that makes us thing in Woodstock and the hippie movement. The hugest peace movement of the histoty. Simple amazing!!!! How is possible that he always nailing the correct sound to his lyrics? Is attonishing!!!

GREAT!! now we need your reaction to the nobody's soldier music video which is the boldest and most anti war mv I've ever seen (at least do a short one? I really wanna know what you think 😭)
Anyway this was fun as always ❤

That You Are sounds like it was written for a movie in the best way, like the instrumentals are so so lovely and it feels like there's a whole story behind it. I'm just really obsessed with Nobody's Soldier! It's about how war and capitalism are tied together and our options for success are largely capitalistic but capitalism is inherently violent, etc. etc. I love it so much.

Love your reaction - you said it reminded you of Motown, and Psychedelic music. I heard early Pearl Jam! Good God Hozier encapsulates everything. And makes it even more magical. HOW DOES HE DO IT???

Hozier has been keeping us FED for the last year!!! I FINALLY saw him live for the first time this summer, too. Absolutely magical.
Nobody's Soldier is such an epic anti-war song. It's a jarring intro for sure, made me jump on first listen, too.
He released July at the end of July as a music video with photos he took while he was writing it - it's a super soothing and beautiful watch! He said he wanted to make sure people could listen to it while it was still actually July haha.
Hmm!!! Every time you mentioned that each verse in That You Are sounded like it came from a different place but still kept the thread of a throughline, I got more and more convinced that this was 100% intentional and you accidentally hit the nail on the head. Made like this, it's like the song will follow the subject and exist organically "anywhere that you are," eh??? 👀✨💚 GENIUS WRITING AS ALWAYS. AUGH.

Hozier has a way of creating the most satisfying chord progressions and emphasized moments and the moods they create, with the brilliant, meaningful lyrics weaving through. He's such a huge talent. Great reaction. You nailed Nobody's Soldier. Your take matches the video visuals.

I think he’s spoken about how July was written in during COVID times when it was thought that in July things would be better and that folks could go out and about again!

Hello my friend Luscent!!!...Believe me this: You have to react to this Incredible Singer with the Most Insane Vocal Range of The World (7.5 Octaves)!!!...When I recommend Dimash to someone like you, sometimes they laugh and they look at me with that look that says "Have you gone crazy?...Nobody can sing like that"!!....And I smile and tell them "Do you want to bet your car?"...Of course after they hear him their faces say it all!!...Lol!!...They can't believe what they are seeing and hearing....So well, I want to invite you to make a reaction to this incredible singer, who is leaving all the experts with their jaws literally on the floor....In 2017, a 22-year-old singer from Kazakhstan, named Dimash Kudaibergen, was invited to participate in the famous Chinese program for professional singers called "The Singer"... In his first appearance, Dimash covered one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse"....Since then all this madness began on the internet, RUclips and social networks worldwide and he is already considered the best singer on the entire planet!... It is almost impossible to see a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges of 8 octaves, that is, the 88 keys of a digital piano, which allows him to reach all registers, both masculine and feminine, that is, he can sing as Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Contratenor, Contralto, Mezzosoprano and Soprano....You can see in RUclips to all kinds of experts (Vocal coaches, analysts, singing teachers, singers, youtubers, reactors, etc.), who have dedicated themselves to watching his videos and verifying for themselves that what is said about him is completely true!!!...In addition to all this, Dimash is capable of singing in more than 12 languages...In all his concerts worldwide, tickets are sold in just seconds, via the internet, due to the immense popularity he has worldwide!....Anyway, I think you haven't met this impressive singer yet, so here is the link to the first song that Dimash performed in China in that year 2017, the song S.O.S., and if it doesn't bother you, I would like you to mention me as the person who recommended it to you!!...Warning: You have to be prepared for thousands of views, comments and new subscribers...The video It is more recent, so it does not have the millions of views that the first ones, but it is more complete, including an intro, subtitles in several languages and better audio and sound quality...ruclips.net/video/bDX3FhmyNac/видео.html

Please, please, please will you do an album reaction to the Cacophony by Paris Paloma? It's her Debut Album and I think that it will be amazing judging by the songs she has on Spotify already - I have saved about 35 that she's brought out over several years. She's taking off in the UK - she's selling out a lot of concerts and the tickets are hundreds of pounds. Yet I had hardly heard of her. I would love to hear what you think and it would be a great way to get in early on an up-and coming artist 😊
