By the time the whole thing is finished, the P&B is going to go down as one of the best routes in Trainz, but holy crap, I can tell this nearly broke you.
As someone who struggles the most with "filler" areas, I would LOVE to see more episodes covering the areas between major scenes, as this series is by far my biggest motivation when I get stumped on a route... Even if I don't learn anything new, just watching someone else do the work for a while is refreshing and gives me a chance to reflect on my own projects and how I can improve them.
With your level of expertise, I would gladly watch videos of you doing anything on the P&B. I learn a lot from watching you and am always inspired to try to improve my own work. Thanks so much for the investment of time and effort that it takes to share these videos with us.
For 5:01 You might actually enjoy Lima Ohio then LOTS of abandoned track, and the old Lima Locomotive Works too. I really need to save my comments for later on...anyway, the scene @ 10:30 reminds me of the Southern edge of Lima, looking east.
I have seen trailer walls all the way down were I’m at in East TN, not just for rail yards but industrial complexes in general. I would also add the trucking depot at Vonny back in as it could make for some interesting switching.
I really want to see how you do those "filler" areas; that's something I always struggle with. I understand how to create a scene, but not how to connect them together! Also just a note; while the build does look incredible, I think in this case it'd be more reasonable to assume it's a transload facility rather than a TOFC ramp as railroads rarely load TOFC "circus-style" (drive up a ramp one at a time, and drive the length of the train).
Except if you're doing a route in the early trailer-train days, in which case loading circus style is definitely accurate even for a larger facility. (I've seen photos of ATSF facilities loading like four trains at once with hundreds of trailers waiting)
When trying to make a transition between city & Country maybe a golfcores, If you have a large assvalt lot maybe a carnavell ?? just a thought. love your work
personally, i like filler too! Other than helping to understand your build process it's also interesting to see just the connections between all the "juicy" bits, the stretches of track alongside highways going from industry to city; it's pretty cool to see! A mix of livestreams and episodes would work best in my opinion, like a 60/40 respectively.
Wow! Amazing job on this! I totally wish I was that good at making routes. I think the P&B should get a new locomotive. I’m thinking SD50’s as they’d be perfect in a 80’s or 90’s scene.
I'm my opinion I think that their should be more of detail work for the filler area I love watching the areas grown from day one way back when you started the P&B so plz keep the videos going. I need something to look forward to. But over all approach you have did a great job with this route. And if you are open for it can you stream a video of you going from one side of the map to the other with a local train switch ALL the industry just to show all the wonderful things that u have done.
Could you be able to make the scene with with lot of containers well cars spine cars container chips semi trucks with trailers and trailers like in a harbor like LA and Long Beach port Harbor or anywhere in the world in the whole world what we have we have like three billion or trillion of containers semi trucks well cars and ships this is Alex Deaton you're big-time favorite subscriber and I really like your videos just by train simulator

The p&b should have a steam program like southern
Id definitely watch episodes on filler areas, seeing you build up areas keeps me entertained
The original was probably based on something like NS’ Pitcairn Intermodal Yard which is a small operation but builds so big intermodal trains.

If that was a former diamond interchange it would look a lot like the diamond at Doswell, VA
