I just got a 2022 Sonata SEL with convenient package and panaromic roof. I have to say this is a very awesome car. I wanted the 2.5 NA engine that is now both GDI and MPI so no more worry about carbon buildup. Smooth and comfortable ride.

Easily one of the coolest looking sedans on the road these days, the designers really went for it and it turned out stunning. Having said that, not a fan of the aftermarket pinstripes, especially if it was done by one of those dealerships who do it to all their cars as part of pre-showroom prep and then try to pass it on to buyers as one of the "extras" to justify a little higher pricetag🙄

@@blazing9034 Was just curious.. Im not of the younger generation that pays a lot of attention to that type of stuff. Im doing some research, as Im looking to buy, and the Sonata is at the top of my list. So in starting to do the research, the Kevin Hunter and Your Auto Advocate channels popped up, and seem to give great educated intel. I look at the number of subscribers as one way of telling me, since I dont know who this person is, how many people are following them, or like their videos. Your the ONLY one I've come across that doesn't show that. Again, not a big thing, but by NOT showing it does tell me something. Anytime anyone "hides" anything , there is a reason, for not wanting that out there. So in that case, have to look elsewhere for my intel. Should be no reason you cant leave that there

I bought a '21 Sonata SEL 2.5 back in Nov of 2020. It now has 62k miles and still drives like new. One issue repaired under warranty in 45 minutes. A noisy bearing in the electric power steering motor. Otherwise just maintenance
Did not have any luck with it here in Canada. Lots of bumper issues rear, front and grill have been replaced already. I don’t recommend anyone buying it. Warranty is a process and takes and absorbs time.
I have not experienced that at all but then again, the car comes with a pretty good Bose system and I often have the music blasting, lol. On a serious note, I really have not experienced a wind noise issue with this car
@@smartkid1201 sometimes the cheap imposters are honestly BETTER THAN THE REAL DEAL!!! LOL Hyundai and Kia are very upscale vehicles now from what ppl used to think of them. I have a 2021 Kia Sportage EX AWD in silver metallic I'm leasing and its very much on par with my last truck which was a silver metallic 2018 Ford Escape SE also loaded but the Kia is newer and little cheaper payment wise now which is great! 👍 only features my Escape had standard that I wish the Kia would offer is the remote starter and Premium Sirius Satellite Radio with the Sony CD Player. But none of that is an option on any Kia now and it's like CD players are no more on anything new now, like they're not existent!

I do lots of freeway and rural highway driving. I find it very quiet. Passengers converse in normal voice levels.
