@@MTGMuddstah as cool as that sounds, I think that will be very confusing to new players that stumble by you channel. I learned through watching games and channel exclusive terms would have confused the heck out of me.

I’m really enjoying the new end step in which you are showing your face to discuss how each deck did. It makes it a much personal interaction and it’s much appreciated. Also, seeing all the new decks you make really makes me want to brew new decks!!
The Arcane Denial triggers should not have occurred at 8:22 - Arcane Denial says "at the beginning of the next turn's upkeep", not "at the beginning of the next upkeep". It should have waited until Ian's upkeep.
That last turn was hilarious.
Your takes on these new colorless, 5-color commanders are so intriguing! I thought they'd all just play out the same, but you're really showcasing the depth of Eldrazi decks.

Hell yeah, I was hoping someone would build the new Obeka. I always use your videos for inspiration!
I had so much hope for Obeka!! Getting all those upkeep triggers was so cool!
Decking yourself out is always a risk I plan around when including cards with forced draw, like Mind Unbound / Psychic Vortex / The Magic Mirror, or even Teferi's Ageless Insight or Thought Reflection.
So I always include cards that can _replace_ draws, such as Tomorrow Azami's Familiar, Abundance, Archmage Ascension, Ormos Archive Keeper, Obstinate Familiar, or Uba Mask.
Why did mark choose white for selective obliteration? Blue would have kept the dismiss into dream out at least 🤔

I’ve always wondered how you film these games and get the quality that you do :) they always look so good.
I also recently built both Obeka and Hinata, so I was pretty invested in this game and I think both of those decks did pretty well showcasing what they can do. It's a shame Micah decked himself. Lol
This has now made me love Obeka. And yes he should include something that replaces draws for it

Someone should tell Maximus that unless specified otherwise, whenever a card is exiled, it has to be face up (he kept exiling cards with his Mystic Forge face down without revealing them). Doesn't effect the game much, but figured he should know if he doesn't already.

I love the Obeka deck, but it might need a Labmaniac and Thassa's Oracle...
Ian made some really weird moves. Like using creeping tar pit twice for attacks instead of blocking. Especially when he could have keep mark alive and have him take a hit or find answers to other players.

How did he cast the Eldrazi the first time with so little mana? Feels like I missed something but at least one of the lands produced colorless only. I counted a R/g, any (if a colorless used), 2 colorless, 1 colorless only….
Eldrazi temple taps for two for eldrazi spells
@@henrytorr5810 right but it’s either 5 WUBRG OR 10 colorless. That covers one “color” or the WUBRG only.
@@safertobeanonymous2224ulalek needs wubrg but you can pay every colored mana with a colorless (not with 2) . You might be confusing this with 2-brick

I'm not trying to fun shame or anything...but, i just genuinely don't see what enjoyment you can get out of playing Hinata. Like a 1 mana & 2 mana one sided board wipe? I just don't see the fun.
Right there with you. I don’t really see the joy in repeated board wipes (and that’s saying something because I love playing stax)

@@Kestral287 yeah, but what’s MORE fun? Blowing everyone’s stuff up easily and cheaply which is only fun for you, or trying to win by outplaying your opponents while everyone at the table is actually playing the game and participating and having fun?
Turns out fun is subjective, who knew.
I think its more that there aren’t any good or proactive x spells in red/white/blue and all the ones that target things outside of the X spell category is either removal or interaction. Why I never built hinata. I bought a foil showcase when it was at its highest price bc I was so excited for it and then after buying it realized how ass it would be. Theres no real win con spells in those colors either so you always have to run a sub theme of token makers like monastery mentor which just makes it even more lame bc thats what ur is usually known for. I give it a few years before more creative and fun cards come out and it’ll make hinata more fun as a deck.
