Guitar cover of Interval's song "Belvedere".
I'm playing it on a 7-string guitar only because this Ibanez RG1027PBF is new to my collection, but it really should be played on just a standard 6-string.

I thought for sure this song required computer assistance to play. That Intervals used digital effects to get the timings correct. Holy crap man! You freaking killed it! Great job! This is my favorite song from them.

I'm 95% sure he pre-recorded the song and did the video over top, so I wouldn't say your initial assumption was incorrect. I'm sure if he spent (too much) time perfecting it, he could play it live, but people have other things to do.

Intervals has become one of my favorite bands. I grew up during Hair Metal and the early days of Thrash but the newer guitar plays are phenomenal and very technically proficient very much like Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Greg Howe and many others. The newer guitar players really seem to serve Modes up on a platter to the listener. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that Joe Satriani and Steve Vai just seem very subtle when using or changing Modes in a song. They blend the Modes very well. That's just my opinion though.
