Thanks rob- i really like these videos that do a more technical dive into how everything works- some of it is easy to find on the net, but it's so scattered everywhere- having videos like these that put it all together in one place and add even more info is super helpful!
Love the videos, Rob. You clearly have passion and a significant depth of understanding for the topics you speak on. I share a passion for these topics and do what I can to stay informed on them, It goes without saying that the pertinent information regarding these areas is constantly changing and requires continuous reassessment, and for you it also includes re-educating your audience with new content. My only suggestion would be to shorten your videos if and when at all possible as well as perhaps creating less videos by consolidating some of the subject matter. I only suggest this because your content I great but there is so much of it that it can be difficult for me to choose what parts of it I need to allocate my time to.
For sure, advertisements pop up in similar fashion to where I'm going. Freaky. For example, at fast food location, other fast food options pop up on my phone automatically.
My phone is coming to an end. It's time for a Brax Phone. Im done with all this b.s. from our phones today. I really hope there is a customer service rep who can assist with questions though.
This could make computers and phonepatches and radios come around again. Radio patch into a repeater...no need to take out the cell phone and send up a flare, right? Anyone still sell phone patches?
I bought a degoogled pixel 3 with lineage. I've played with it and used wifi to send myself a text. It's not been activated yet but now I see all my contacts from my galaxy s8. I'm at a loss how that happened. No sim card in it yet.
Usually you have to allow access to your contacts before you can use your phone or it could be accessed from the cloud by whatever app you used to send your text. If you had to register in your name, I'm pretty sure everything would be linked.
Rob, do you know anything about cellular landlines? Where you can plug a regular type house phone into a cellular base unit that transmits calls via the available towers in the area. I am not clear on how or if they can be secure. Can the signal be scrambled or encrypted? Or are they still like a CB radio?!
I Got A Question Could we buy prepaid credit cards to use since our name is not on them . And paid for them in cash . Or are they traceable as well????? ?????????????????????? ???????
This way you cannot be traced. However in many countries pre-paid cards sale are also required by government to log buyer's name and identity card no. or passport number in case of a tourist.
Hello. I noticed that on my gsm, at any times the applications open as if an invisible person is browsing my data. I know my mobile is monitored by my government here in europe. Do you have an app to block them completely?
Just one note. When using IPv6 on the cell network if you're accessing a IPv6 site then most definitely the carrier and the site can see your real IPv6 address. I have even tested connecting from a random internet address directly to my phone over IPv6 and it works (the IP address is not static though). It's true that cell access to and from IPv4 is generally obscured by the carrier's routers because they have no internal IPv4 routing.
@@Mr3X7R3M3 what about when like in the USA a phone supports 3g but they are taking out all 3g networks? Does the cell phone ping the towers even when it does not support it?

The fact that you can’t dump an iPhone “because of its features” answers your question! Most of the features are arbitrary at best. The few that you lose have workarounds, or aren’t necessary anyways
