Every GM truck I've owned runs at 210, summer or winter towing heavy or empty. Granted, I'm in N. Central FL so not too many crazy cold days. I replaced both thermostats 4 years ago on my lbz and I think one of them is stuck open now as she will only get to 170-180 empty. When towing more than 5k lbs it will get to right at 210.
Thanks. I was having a hard time getting a clear answer online too. Mine always runs at the 185 mark. I'm used to gas vehicles running at just shy of the 210 mark.
Thank you man I appreciate it. Gotta 2013 Duramax Diesel 6.6 Sierra Denali with the Allison tranny. Having trouble with the heat not pumping out at full blast, and the blower motor was just replaced last year so I think it may be a thermostat. Well,😅both of them since I realized that they actually have 2 thermostats!!! Only started a few days ago when the temps started dropping. I'm in PA. Another reason why I am planning on relocating to Myrtle Beach SC!!!!! Great 👍 video man and keep up the good work!!!

I live in the Caribbean can I run without them? Temps on my truck are around 210/220 if I go uphill climbs to 230+
Having the same issue thanks man
My LBZ usually runs at about 195 on the highway. A tad over the hash.
Thanks man. No BS just tells it like it is.
Mine runs at 210 all day.
Same here.
@@tiptopemtb3476gauge is off I plugged in 2 different monitors and I got 186 when I was at 210😭
Same here
I got the same problem. Thanks!
Thx bro!!
how did you know that it wasn't the sensor that wasn't working
The truck would never blow warm air in the cabin, that’s what made me decide on the thermostats being stuck open
@@DustinT i changed my thermostats and still getting p0128 code engine temp below control range. and the fan runs when you start the truck
@@stanleysands7434 mine too. I think it’s the sensor. Could also be the fan clutch if the fan never stops. But more likely it’s the sensor.
@@Jessehermansonphotography Hope you got it figured out. Knowing what to fix is half the battle.
Any ideas on one that goes half way, and is I’m assuming loosing coolant
The best way to find out how your vehicle should be performing and what range the gages should be reading is to read your owner's manual !!!!
Doesn't say for my 2019 silverado 2500 Duramax
FN'1ST!!!
