      Should these two exercises been done every day and before the active traction unit?

      Sore calves. I am always doing calf ups and they leave my calves very sore. I don't have any other muscle pain. Thanks in advance.

      Hi Yoni, great explanation! What i always emphasize is that to keep the shoulders from shrugging [ most people have lived / moved in this shrugged position for a very long time and easily go back to it] , as well with the quadruped as in any other position.
      Ciao, Bo

    I am in my 74th year, female, have had extreme headaches for half of my life, have the hump, basically everything you have mentioned. I was sent the link to you by my best friend, it's no mistake, but it was the wrong link, hence why he is my best friend. He has been my best friend for a while. The day he sent the link, I was in the midst of one of those headaches, I saw enough of your teachings to know, you are the man for me. Thank you for being so kind to be caring enough to make this , actually, all your videos. I am about to do my first exercises. Lots of hugs, and love from me to you. Sherie Rodrigues from Australia. I have a new hope of having no headaches and I can breathe better.❤❤😊

    Since 2016 I’ve been suffering from sharp nerve pains due to forward head posture. 8 years later I cured it by simply laying on my back and holding my head up an inch off the ground. God bless and I hope this helps anyone else, this guy’s channel has tons of great exercises for neck flexors as well as core and rhomboids. It’s not stretching, it’s STRENGTH!

    Are these exercises also appropriate for people with scoliosis?

    • @painfixprotocol
      @painfixprotocol  Месяц назад

      The answer is maybe. The types and causes of scoliosis differ from one person to the next. Unfortunately, without a physical exam I cannot say for certain if these are appropriate in your situation.

    This explains the horrible pain that I have most of the time in my upper back. How about using the Deener roll to fix the head forward position?

    • @lendalennuk2484
      @lendalennuk2484 8 месяцев назад +2

      What is Deener roll?
      IMHE (E-experience): The main and lasting result comes exclusively from our body movements and exercises. Everything else is additional-complementary.

      Sorry I misspelled the name, it’s Denneroll.

      @@highervibes111 Thank you for clarification.
      Orthotics... I have experienced that we have a pure delight to use our lifestyle to get rid any of those contraptions to become naturally resilient. And Yoni empowers us here very well :) Among other such luminaries as Amen, Bredesen, Perlmutter (brain), Lustig (sugar metabolism), De Frederico and Muehlenweg (vision), etc etc. We live in an exciting time!

    • @painfixprotocol
      @painfixprotocol  8 месяцев назад +1

      The Denneroll is a fine tool and could be helpful for some people as part of a comprehensive structural rehabilitation program. However, it is not an effective stand-alone strategy for improving posture.

    Great video! But I’m unable to do the 2nd exercise without my head being incredibly shaky. Does this suggest my neck flexors are really impaired or could something else cause this?

    • @painfixprotocol
      @painfixprotocol  8 месяцев назад

      Shakiness with that exercise is very common - especially early on. It usually stems from a lack of motor control or weakness (or some combination of the two). Typically, the shakiness will decrease gradually and disappear completely by the 3rd-4th week of consistent practice.

  • @lendalennuk2484
    @lendalennuk2484 8 месяцев назад +1

    Thank you, Yoni, again!
    I tried those exercises. The first one is easy to do. But the second one... it requires effort to hold your head tens of seconds... my infirmity made me laugh. Funny and positive :)
    Question: is it important to keep the head still? Or can one also move the head up and down (keeping the face horizontal)?

    • @painfixprotocol
      @painfixprotocol  8 месяцев назад +1

      You're most welcome, Lenda!
      Keeping the head still is a sign of good muscular control. In general, the more a person difficulty a person has with a particular movement or position, the more "micromovements" (shakiness or wobble) they tend to produce. The usually comes on stronger as a person approaches the limit of their endurance.
      The goal however, should be to maintain optimal alignment and remain still, with good control the whole time.

    I’m 57 and have that hump really bad, my vertebrae in 2 areas is off by almost 3 centimeters. The surgeon said I need to have 2 areas fused and a disc replacement. My question is will these exercise help at all or am I to late. I have extreme pain constantly and can barely move my neck. The only comfortable position is laying flat on my back and even then I feel major pressure in the back of my head and pain in my neck and upper back.

    • @painfixprotocol
      @painfixprotocol  8 месяцев назад

      Sorry to hear about your neck problems, Mary. Unfortunately, without and examination I am unable to say if the these exercises are appropriate for you. Perhaps you would benefit from getting a second opinion from a rehabilitation expert in your area.
