Today we are staying on-site at Universals Portofino Bay and taking advantage of the free express passes but dinner at a new restaurant for us.

Love the vlogs guys, just discovered you, and realised you were there at the same time as us. Thought we’d see ourselves on your vlog when you checked in as we were 12 nights in Portofino bay. Back out same time this year but this time in a Villa on Southern Dunes. Learnt loads from your vlogs, thanks again. 👍🏻

We did hard rock last year ,really want to do the portofino bay had a look round whilst we were there ,looks great ,and the express passes a must

Loved this - portofino bay is on my list for sure. We last did universal in Jan 2020 but think we have it in our sights for Halloween next year. I’m crossing my fingers for a Black Friday hotel deal 😂

Do you use a waterproof case with your gopro? When I bought mine I got a waterproof case aswell because I'm too nervous to get it wet, but it's annoying because you can't zoom in or anything with the case on. But also I'm assuming you can't use the case with the wrist strap either 🤔

No no case for the GoPro. They should all be waterproof so no need. Ours is old now though. Hero 5 I think it is. If it ain’t broke don’t buy a new one right 🤪. X
Prices for the 3 Loews hotels fluctuate throughout the year but i've booked them at their lowest around £330 most years, its a lot of working checking the prices twice a week to find the low points though, haha
Ah that’s good you’ve managed to get a great price. We’ve managed to book HR for around the £300 mark twice but that was a few years ago now. Portofino always seems to be the most expensive of the 3 and now I see why x
Picked a Tarot card for you Gemma… it’s the 3 of cups 😂 more cups than you can fill your cupboards with, are coming your way, also indicates you will get in an absolute pickle over nothing re:losing annual pass 😜
I can’t say I have any idea about tarot cards so I guess lots of cups is a good thing 😆
Hi - how do you use universal annual pass to book hotel, with discount?
On the US website. You can select annual pass and then hotel stays but saying that for some reason it kept failing to book so I can’t them and told them the ap price I was trying to book and tada. Booked. X
Take broken sunglasses back to Disney two years later and say you just bought them ? Cheap and always trying to scam.
My apologies. I forget sometimes some people needs things explained to them a little clearer. Basically Disney take ownership of a shoddy product so if you were to purchase an item from a Disney park and it was to break Disney wouldn’t ask for a receipt to prove it was purchased from them if it was very clearly purchased from they. They will just replace it. Point is (and although Disney bring out new merchandise very regularly) they do sell some of the same items they have sold for years so you could technically replace ears or sunglasses for instance on your next trip. We bought Abbie sunglasses in Epcot and a few days later they broke when we were in Animal Kingdom. I asked a cast member if I needed to take them back to Epcot and she handed over a new pair.
