Good to see you again Thomas!
I wasn't aware of this press. Although I no longer collect, those do tempt me.
I love the old-style pulp art, and the stories were so wonderful. I used to collect Fantasy Press, Gnome Press, Shasta Press and others of the late great small presses.
Thank you Steven! There are actually two more in the works. In an email from them yesterday I was informed there is still no release date. I don't preorder from small press publishers because there is a risk of never seeing the books or a refund. So I'm still waiting lol! Great to hear from you!
I've got all three and love Kuttner & Moore!
Excellent!
Thomas, those books are stellar looking. Solid looking hardbacks with old school covert art, so awesome! And that sword in the background, along with that western shirt you are wearing so cool! 😎 Is that your take on the blue chambray work shirt? Ala Roland Deschain. 😊
Good thought on the shirt! I probaby should re-read the Dark Tower but I lent my first editions to someone and never saw them again. I have stopped lending books!!
Haffner also published the excellent collection of Kuttner and wife C.L. Moore's collaborative short stories, Detour to Otherness, which is probably OOP. Haffner Press produces beautiful books, but from what I've heard, it's basically a one-man operation which would explain the wait time. Along with the four Kuttner books, I've collected the four Haffner volumes dedicated to the stories of the brilliant Leigh Brackett. Great overview, thanks!
I missed that other Kuttner, but they actually have 2 in the pipeline. They certainly are beautifully made books. Thanks for checking in!!
Those look great. I haven’t read any of his stories yet, but I’ve been curious about his writing for some time now.
@@ObscureBookAdventures i think you might enjoy him!
Nice collection Mr. Thomas. I am not that interested in Sci-fi and or Fantasy. I have read LOTR and a few more. I wish that I did enjoy the genre but I really don't. Thanks for showing us your books and keeping us informed. -James & Bella!
@Littlebiglibrary my pleasure sir!
