Bluetooth chains my favorite, because I love how quick a person can secure a load with them. 😅😂🤣 Jokes aside the old man that taught me how to drive a truck as opposed to hang onto the steering wheel would hook a track pad with a chain binder on the left front and right rear. When I asked him if we needed more chains on the dozer he spit and said Sonny do you think those chains can stop that dozer from sliding off that trailer if it wants to go. He proceeded to pontificate that chains only help stop the load from starting to shift and didn’t do dick once it started to move. I not saying he was wrong or right but that is just what he said and the old man never lost a load that I ever knew of. Have a nice day and a better tomorrow
Great video Jeff always enjoy watching you move Killdozer to it next job. Kenny sounds great under load going to your destination. Thanks for sharing stay safe Jeff and Mr Griffy.
Good to see some people over there have COD gates too (carry or drag). Cattle are like small boys, they are curious things, and they probably don’t often see a big truck with a big dozer on the back come into their paddock. They want to come over and see what’s going on.
Outstanding! I had a glow plug controller failure mid winter, sub zero and tractor would crank but not start. pulled out the primary and secondary air filters, got a big tin lid with a good shot of carb cleaner, set that in the filter housing and lit it on fire, that tractor started like it was mid july! Reinstalled the filters and ordered a new controller.
@@jefftheaussie2225 Yeah, and some older perkins had a hot wire in a little cup in the intake, they'd dribble a little fuel on the hot wire to start a small fire in the intake as a cold start assist.
@@fastst1 Yes they (Perkins) came to Australia with that cold starting equipment on them too but it never got cold enough to need it here, even in the biggest -7C frost.
Good to see the D9 back on the job again after a little tune up! I love the part of the video where you fast forward when you are walking. It just looks funny. lol 😂. Looking forward to the next video where it’s pushing again.
Hi Jeff just the sound of the C15 thru twin stacks I almost felt like going back to drivin trucks but Nah ! I hav another beer and watch Jeff Lv your work Thnks !!
I cringe when I see the reversible fan blades. When D8Ks were so common, they all came to our area with those fans and the 200# fan hub. They were bad about causing the fan belts to slip on acceleration and deccelrating. Plus D8Ks were prone to overheat in clearing applications. We used to change the fans to a straight blow type ejector fan with cupped ends for ejecting the sand. With a slightly smaller pulley on the crank for higher fan speed and a much lighter fan hub, belt problems and overheat pretty much went away.
Nice trip in rural USA, thanks for the content. I liked the ever pleasant engine sounds as opposed to some hip hop rap crap that others put on their channel to mask the real sounds.
Jeffrey don't it stir your blood to get to operate such and awesome tractor. I always felt my chest stick out when I sat in the seat of the D9G I used to operate. I felt like it could do anything it was invincible!
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota. Wanted to mention if I'm not in a pete pulling a sidedump. I run a Cat 16G blade for 10.5 hours a day. 6 days a week.
I bet those kids on those motorcycles dint have a license especially the 1 were there were 2up lol lol that vat in that trick sounds absolutely fantastic ya know ...

Heavy haul trailers have different requirements than conventional semi trailers. Spring brakes and abs requirements are different I believe it’s when you get over 100000 or 120000 gvw. Don’t have my reg book handy for the exact number
it's a 1986, I don't know why they don't have spring brakes, but I did have to hook on to it with a piece of equipment and drag it once so we just drained the air and moved it, I'm going to ask some people who would know the reason
You put so much work into the old iron, very impressive! But im baffled by the fact that you dont chain down for "short runs" its incredibly irresponsible.

Impressive operation Mr Paydirt.
Man, that truck was smokin like hell!
Rolling coal 🚬😙
Impressive performance from the truck without a trace of smoke under load. Very well done, great to see it possible!
Yes, thanks
❤❤ the sound of your truck keep up the great work Jeffrey. Take care of yourself and family and friends and Griffey 🐕 and be Blessed ❤️.
Nothing like the purring of a CAT to relax ya and make ya wanna sleep at the end of the day!!!!!!
You're a great showman Jeff!
Quite the comedian too.

Another great video there bro. Safe travels. Ken.
Nice ride, wonderful looking day. It's like I'm sitting on top of a bulldozer on a trailer being pulled by an awesome sounding rig. Life's good.
Outstanding Jeff. Love the way you shift in the power curve nice and smooth. Truck sounds great.

I have seen that done with a big piece of rag on a stick dipped in diesel, set on fire and held near the air inlet. It breathes in the hot air.

Is the pitch of the fan blades adjustable?
No, but they are reversible

Another fine day
How expensive would it be to meet the sheriff with no chains on Killdozer?
Gosh I was wondering the same thing 😂
they never bother me, they don't care and don't bother the farming community
need a new glad hand seal on that red glad hand
How do you see to the rear to change lanes.....I guess the little spot mirrors?
I don't change lanes............I just use both of them
That's for sure....
Look at all that money going up in smoke
So, you can travel rural roads no pilot?

Jeff, don't you get tired of winning?
I cannot get over how flat your ground is , there is not a hill to be seen.
Some of the viewers need to sit back and have a beer, quit bitching, just watch the video if you don’t like it go pack sand, lighten up a little
Is this kill Dozer?
yes
@@Jpaydirt OK i saw another one over to the side in your video . I know you have 2 lol
Glad to help , yeah I talked about it . 😊
If you ain’t gonna chain it down might as well unload it right in the gawd dang road . Gfym 😂
