You’re so right, fashion has become so predictable with the 20 year trends… however I must say I’ve been loving the more minimalistic yet edgy 2010’s styles (typical me 🙄🙈). The East/west style has surprised me by how much I love it actually 😍😍😍 if I could have I feel like I would have gotten the brown Idaho bag from The Row… it’s pretty stunning 🤎
Good morning Mary. I loved this trawl through bags for F/W. There are so many that make my heart sing 😂 My faves are def Loewe but not in the exotics. I would buy a Celine black patent bag later this year and keep it forever as it looks like a classic. The smaller Squeeze bag is still calling my name! I’m off outlet shopping today to see if there’s bargains I can snap up. Have a fab day 🥰
I do like the east-west bags. I was going to get the Margaux east-west in smooth saddle leather in brown but the drop length of shoulder is 6,5 inches and I do want a shoulder bag. I will wait until the Margaux will have a longer shoulder drop:)
I do find it odd that Gen Z is interested in a Nostalgic time they weren’t alive. Intellectually isn’t it looked at as like “a period before internet and everyone’s opinion” that 90s and 2000’s kids want to go back to? Funny timez in fashion for sure

I hope the maximalist mid-2000s goes away... I'm not minding some of the east/west trends.
