The guy at the light did not know you were turning left. The fast blinking indicator means the front signal was not working.
Ummmm I was literally I. The left turn only lane, so that alone should let you know I am turning. I also just checked my signals and the front left works just fine.
Could also be the back indicator.
Might have been drunk or wasn't paying attention
@@jmccord0716 On mine the front light out inside indicator blinks fast, when the rear is out it doesn't blink and just stays on.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds In the video before you pressed the dome override button the indicator was blinking fast. After when you were at the house it was normal. I will have to check mine to see if it does the same or if it is something electrical causing yours to do that. My truck just turns the Dome light off when you open the doors.
That blazer is going to be a excellent vehicle for someone who really needs a vehicle, and the Blazer will run for anyone.
Had a 2001 that I got for free put a lil money into it and drove it! It got my mother down the side of a mountain behind a bulldozer during the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise CA I'd probably still have it if insurance hadn't totaled it since the fire melted all the exterior plastics.
It has great tires. Clean it up and detail, sell it. Make your company sticker on the back window only in the corner. Don't over do it.

Randy, really good interior detail, engine bay detail, paint correction and sealant/polish, then send it off to auction. Little 💲 in it and a chance of a profit. Don’t overdo it👍
The tailgate should have a button built-in to the keyhole the glass should pop up first then the tailgate itself will have a handle on the inside to allow it to fold down.
Since this vehicle is manual everything you might need to use the key.

The headlights are daytime running lights. They are programed to stay on for visibility.
You can turn them off though by pressing the dome light button that is under the headlight switch 2 full cycles in and out
I’m a firefighter and we use to have a few of those gmc as chief vehicles and they were excellent vehicles We had a call in the winter time and somebody lost control and smashed the front end of the gmc and it still started up and the chief ended up driving it back home can’t wait to see what you do this blazer much love brother from upstate New York
I have a 2000 blazer 4 door 4wd I bought 5 1/2 years ago for $1,000 at a public auction. I love that truck. It breaks a lot because I don’t drive it much but man every single time I go into it after any time of not driving it, it fires right up and drives. Sure my dash is cracked, I have a couple lights on the dash, and the steering is a little loose but man I love that little suv.
Someone took very good care of that blazer that engine is very healthy and runs strong
Hi Randy! Love your channel! Keep up the great work. To unlock the rear window hatch on the blazer. You have to use the ignition key to unlock it. Take the key out. Once it’s unlocked you push the button on the tailgate then the rear window should pop open. Nice ride! I owned one. Now I drive a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 4x4 with only 38,000+ miles. Bought it as my graduation gift back in 2000 OBS Good luck! Safe travels!

The headlights are automatic they should come on as soon as you turned the key over button underneath the headlight switch you hit it three times turn the headlights off if you hit it again turn the headlights back on I had to Chevy S10 and a blazer just like that one they all did the same thing
you should gift a car to a local high school student and the blazer would be a perfect car

@@lesclarke8064 You do not give a vehicle to somebody that can't afford the upkeep registration or insurance. That is a recipe for disaster.
my 2001 has dome override a d the same switch it does have auto lamps just leave it in the off position and they will turn on automatically

If I'm not mistaken, that Blazer has the upgraded transmission and rear end too, that Blower I'm talking about for the Vortec 4.3 isn't that expensive and makes a ton of power, it would really exciting to see you do that to it!!
if im not mistaken. v6s are known for head gasket failures
@@stupadasso8961 So are 4.3 head gaskets too. A steering pump pulley requires a special tool to remove it before you remove bracket bolts.

I had a 2003 2 door Blazer and absolutely loved that truck.
That's a rare fleet 2005 blazer. All T10/S10 blazers made in 05 were for fleet only. You need to lower it. Tint, new paint, & a basic lowering with your company logos would be killer! Can't wait to see the out come.

Just a fact some of those gm vehicles have the lights on because its known as daytime running lights it just something they did with those gm vehicles nothing to worry about I have an Old chevy and it has that feature having the lights on which is known as day time running lights.
Randy I had a 2001 the headlights are automatic they have a sensor on the dash. And the highbeams stay on when running as daytime running lights. This feature can be disabled I have a video on my channel showing how to disable it.
I say go for it. Customize the Blazer with your preferred Logo, air it on the channel and then probably sell or keep it
Got no problems with seeing wins on the channel, we are all here to support you Randy and long may the winning streak continue with lots more interesting cars
Nice buy! Bet there's a signal light out cuz at the first light the dash showed too fast of a flash for that vehicle (seriously and with RESPECT!)
Should probably replace the headlight switch. Obvious short that may cause more problems soon. Could even cause a parasitic draw on the battery.
It’s not a short they’re automatic and most of the time, if they do stay on it’s a bad photocell in these, not a switch. If you turn the automatic function off the switch will function just how it should

2005 Chevy blazer absolutely has automatic headlights. Just look for the big oval black looking eye on the dashboard up towards the base of the windshield. And sometimes if there is an envelope or a CD case or something covering it then it can’t see daylight and your lights will be on continuously

honestly Randy... just a decent paint job and kick it on down the road if your not going to use it as a daily for your company. I wouldnt put the tint on because if a tuber gets it in another state the state laws may have a fit with window tint. good content this vid,
Hey Randy, if you press the dome light button right under the headlight switch in and then let it come back out twice, the automatic headlights should shut off, little secret on the old chevys a lot of people don’t know

I think if you turn the key to the left it unlocks the the glass and to the right it opens the gate It’s been a while since I had a blazer so I could be wrong
Old school two tone the paint job. Ford blue jeans blue on top and bottom with silver/gray in the middle. Then with white letter cooper cobra tires. Would look absolutely 🔥. Killin it lately. Keep up the great work!

The tailgate is supposed to have a button on the dash next to the radio my buddy had a 99 Blazer 2 door I have an 01 S10 ext cab both have the 4.3

use the key to open the rear window (turn one way), once open then you turn the other way to drop the gate.

To open the tailgate, you press a button inside you come out to that circular button press it pull the window up and then there’s a handle on the inside to pull the tailgate down

Years ago there was a kit that you could buy that would convert a two door two wheel drive S10 Blazer into a hot rod coupe. It looked 50's retro and it was really a cool looking car.

Those plastic window crank handles are terrible, I had them in one of my 02 vans. Knob always comes off.
You can put the old metal ones right on there and solve that problem, I sell used ones for $5 a pair but I think you can buy repro ones from the "Help!" line right in your auto parts store.
Use the key you need to turn the key to the left and keep it turned and use your other hand to pull on the glass handle. There is a button on the dash but it’s pretty weak by that if you press the release button and shut the drivers door I found the rear glass latch closes again.

That person who made a right hand turn in front of you, no matter what, that person knew you were in the left hand turning lane and that person had the red light still. Our street lights are like that. RANDY, if you were selling the cars you buy where I live, you'd have people knocking on your door wanting to know when can they buy a certain vehicle. They would go fast !
Remember Randy, alternator is made to maintain battery at full charge , not charge a dead battery although it can do that , when you charge a dead battery by alternator it's awfully hard on the alternator..........

Its a nice car; detail her out, send her back down the road and make a quick thousand bucks or so is what I'd do. The paint on it doesn't look bad; I think she'd still shine up and look nice with a good bath.

then drive it for a little bit until that 4.3 says goodbye . If you like them that much , then after the 4.3 goes , toss a LS into it and have a real fun one . Be sure to put a shift kit in the trans and a good cooler , some raspy dual exhaust. Cheap toy that hauls parts too.
Also use the key to open the glass hatch there will be a handle to lower the bottom half on I believe the right side at top
Put a big speaker box stereo system in the blazer for sure, good deal on the blazer just got to be careful on the transmission the OD likes to go out but that blazer seems to have been maintained very well.

I like this little Blazer. I have considered buying one from NY state surplus, but they seem to all have major rot issues. Which is okay, I just need a winter beater, but it has to be good enough shape to pass an inspection.

Tint the windows, lower it just a bit, not slam it. Buy some different tire & wheels for it. buff it and get it detailed up inside and under the hood. Save a bunch of money, have a cleaner rig , and see how long you are able to keep it before two people are trying to buy it at the same time.
