He was in a small front line village and this village was absolutely wiped out not to mention the Soviet troops were right behind the barrage so he had just a few minutes to collect himself and take off running toward friendly lines.
History is repeating itself. Half of million Ukrainian soldiers have died, while the US and NATO's weapons industries make money and test their weapons on the battle field to see how good or bad they are. Once this conflict ends, and it will end, the US has its site on China and that would be the biggest mistakes' for the Americans, because China along with Russia and North Korea are too strong and will teach the Americans a lesson. I hope none of this happens and cool heads in Washington prevail so the world can learn to live in Peace. Amen.
I guess thats one way to see it. They lived and they died and will always be a part of history. While being in this guys adjective addicted commentary videos may not have been what they sought, dying in a historical battle for the life and death of a nation is probably a lot better way to go then being 89 years old going out from infected bed soars and looking for pants you have not sh!t in . I like hearing the German Soldiers side of how they were feeling during this time. They had hopes and dreams and were scared just like everyone else was. I guess because I have a 22 year old son and it's the mother in me to feel this way.
Even listening to the German soldiers thoughts & hearing their fears I could never feel sorry for them smh the evil deeds they committed in the Nazi name is despicable! And the German soldiers attacked multiple countries 1st idc how young they were they raped, killed, stole, beat, and maimed so many men, women, & children. Hearing the soldiers not wanting to be near Russian soldiers at the end shows how insane humans can be. They want to be caught by the US or Britain so they can be safe but they went in Russia killing everyone in site. Smh to want compassion is insane German soldiers were monsters!

Well as they did most of the hard work and fought the axis forces for longer causing the majority of axis forces casualties and losses whilst America only reluctantly joined the war after Hitler foolishly declared war on them otherwise America would have happily just supplied munitions armaments and weapons to the allies for profit .it seems only fair that they captured the German capital.it was only Britian and the Commonwealth nations that fought from the start and up until the invasion of Europe did very little apart from retaking North Africa and invading italy which were essentially side lines from the major theatre of the Soviet union

Berlin held out in the hope it could surrender to the Americans. My Grandad and his division managed to escape Berlin and surrender to western allied forces. Only 40 percent of the deployed German forces actually thought the Russians in Berlin. He told me there panzers were loaded on top with civilians and towing carts heading west. The Germans basically fooled the Russians with a fighting retreat similar to the British at Dunkirk
The morale of the Eastern front of WW2 is that : Do not start a war with a country that is geographically large and complex, has an endless manpower, and endless ammunition and weapons. The Soviets had all those qualities.

Also this last battle was very personal for the Russians. They saw Berlin as Germany's Stalingrad and they wanted to make the Germans in Berlin suffer just as much if not worse than the people of Stalingrad did.
