    I have watched a few training videos, thanks. Just a question about intonation. I can't really distinguish which intonation goes up and which down. Like at the beginning of the video, why "careful" is an up, not a down? Could you give more explanations?

    Hi ! I have a question.I read a news like that :"James Franco to pay $2.2m in the case." I've understood that "to" means "will" in this sentence.So,when do we use "to" as "will" ? Can you explain this,please.Thanks a lot !

    • @mrmememe777
      @mrmememe777  3 года назад

      He is to pay $2.2million. The verb (to be) followed by "to" means "he is supposed to" or "he has to" in the future.

      The title of the news is: "James Franco to pay $2.2m in sexual misconduct case".I thought that "to" means "will" instead of "has to".Am i wrong ?
