Oh hey 30:03 that's me who previously had the WR. Haha. Definitely not one of my most optimized levels of the "Woof" levels that Apollo has done. I'd love to see you take a whack at Woof 2-7, Panga. I think it's both Apollo's most well designed level, and the one I've optimized the WR on the most. :)

But I've tried some of Panga's levels and I can't even come close to clearing them. Usually not even a single obstacle. Haha. There's an incredible skill difference.

It's great to see you finally get a Wroof level. I love watching DumbDog on twitch make these levels and as far as I know out of the Mario Maker guys I watch, Barb, Poo, Ryu, Carl, you're the first to play on of his levels.

People would kill to get the quality levels you get in a super expert run
The "troll level" is a troll. It wants you to believe it's a troll level, when it's really not a troll level, and therefore it trolled you into thinking the entire run that it was a really bad troll level that wasn't a troll level. I would call that a success. I also don't even know what I'm typing anymore.
37:58 this garbage is actually a surprisingly faithful recreation of some of the concepts from the SNES Mario RPG game. It seems to start you out in Bean Valley, having you visit Nimbus Land briefly before hopping onto the cloud bus to Bowser's Keep, at which point it looks like it's having you do 4 of the 6 "doors," that were in the keep in order to proceed to a rematch with Boomer and then the Exor fight. The first door was obviously one of the, "action," rooms where you have to do platforming to reach the other side, and the next two were the "battle," rooms where you get a bunch of inescapable random battles. I imagine the 4th door will be the other action room 'cause I don't know how they'd do the quiz rooms TBH, but this level actually looks pretty cool.

Maybe you could add a rule where you can't lose more than 5 or 10 lives per level, so that the run goes longer. You can skip after you lose that many lives

Just started watching your channel, and loving the vids you've been uploading lately! Two suggestions -- I think skips would be fine in these runs as long as they're just used for hold-right levels with tight timers. Also, I think another cool thing you could do to make the run more interesting/difficult is subtract the amount of lives lost while rerunning the level for wr outside of the run once you've come back to the run. Great content, cheers! :-)
He needs to do a stream of normal. And have a timer set for 60 minutes. And see how many levels he can clear before the timer runs out.
Finally, keep it in the top right.
Here my suggestion for getting first clear:
If you get first clear you must beat the creator’s clear time before proceeding

I'd love to see a series in which you and another streamer steal each other's records BUT you can't optimize it, just play until you get WR. Then they try to steal the same WR back - also stopping as soon as they manage to get WR...back & forth until it's too optimized to retake, the winner being WR holder...obviously

hey, do you use an editor, or specific software to get the edits like this? Im looking to make something similar for an entirely different game, but was just curious because I would like a similar format it comes out great.
you can use premiere pro its very simple to understand
I hate hidden blocks that just add phantom difficulty. I like levels that are challenging and remind me that I suck cuz I'm not precise enough, etc.

This challenge is kinda bland if you can just beat a level and get WR after it although it does prove that you're able to get a WR time on Super-Expert levels.
I propose that every time you get a world record you add two points if and only if you completed it without quitting out of the endless run. However, if you don't get WR on that level and have to exit out to complete it, you lose one point to your total. When you're points equal zero, you lose. You can begin the countdown when you lose all your lives or continue your point counter onto other runs if you fail your current run. You can either start off at 1 point or no points to affect the difficulty of starting a run.

Hey, can someone explain what kaizo is?
A hard level with cool setups for jumps. It is also fun and not a stupid Timmy level
A level involving advanced techniques like shell jumps that require practice and a lot of timing. The term comes from a creator that made some romhacks with that philosophy (I think)
"Kaizo" means something along the lines of "reconstructed" in Japanese, a Japanese romhacker made a mario world hack called "Kaizo Mario World" which became really popular around the world due to its extremely difficult nature. As a result, the term has been twisted a bit as it's now used to refer to very difficult and precise Mario levels and romhacks.
