When I was 10 or 11, I was convinced my hair would never look decent unless I did something intricate with it everyday. I watched this video at least 1000 times in order to learn these hairstyles and I would wear them everyday for about 2 years. Now I am nearly 16, and I was happy to rediscover the video that gave me so much confidence when I was young.Thank you!
@lavenderladyXD Hi sweetie, before I go on, I want you to promise me you will stop starving yourself. Depriving your body of the essential nutrients of LIFE is not healthy. I would NEVER starve myself to look a certain way. Your BMI is perfectly healthy, and lower than average. Eat healthily, 5-6 times/day (3 full meals + 2 snacks), exercise 3x per week. Most importantly, see yourself as BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE. Remind yourself every day of the blessings God has given you. You are special!
@Whippoful Some people with super straight hair (like me) need to add some texture for the bun to fall properly. :) Hence the need to add a curl activator & sleep in a bun vs. curling it in the morning hehe :)
Just realized I’ve been watching you for 11 years 😳 I just stumbled across it again, but this was the first video of yours I ever watched ❤️ you’re the best! Love your sweet personality and sense of humor!
I have been following you for quite some time and I just wanted to let you know you are (BY FAR) my favorite youtuber. You are so happy, positive and beautiful. Thanks for your channel!
So RUclips decided to recommend me rach's video 10 years later, and i don't know what to make of it? Is it because I binge Rach's videos? RUclips is strange...smh
OMG I love Florrie! You are the first person who I've noticed that likes her too! Seriously... I've asked all my friends and they don't know who she is. Smh. lol Love your tutorials
I have dark brown hair and I use baby powder all the time. I like to sprinkle a little pile on my fingers, then rub it into all of my fingers like lotion, allowing excess powder to fall. Then I take my fingers and vigorously massage the powder into my scalp until it disappears. I can do this several times throughout my whole head and it makes oily hair look clean, and it gives hair texture and hold. As long as you massage it in very thoroughly it shouldn't make your hair look dusty or grey.
oh my god. it came in my for you page and i just clicked on it and thought it is a new video of Rachel, and then i thought these hair styles are from my child hood, and then i saw the comments and THIS IS FROM 11 YEARS AGO, i am flabbergasted, she has not aged at all.
thank you so much! most tutorials I watch are people with super thick hair! Thank you for showing me how to get volume on a hair type more like mine! :)
Yes. This is a well-known trick in the professional hair-stylist world. Baby powder will soak up any excess oil, get rid of that overly-shiny greasy look, and let your hair puff back up if it was weighed down or droopy from being dirty. And no, it doesn't matter how dark your hair is. It will absorb the oil and become translucent, you just have to work it in well. I have dark brown hair and it works for me. Taught to me by MY stylist. BONUS: Makes your hair smell lovely.
I love these, especially because I did one of these hairstyles for my grade eight grad like five years ago. I think I got the hairstyle from Seventeen. Love that it's now in tutorial form because I loved it and got it done by the hairdresser! :)
No. I have super dark brown hair and I do this all the time. It's a good in-between on those days you don't have time to wash your hair. Soaks up all the excess oil in your hair. Just make sure you work it in really well. As it soaks up the oil and spreads through your hair it will become translucent.
Your video is really helpful and I only have slightly above shoulder length hair! (Thanks for making vids for people who are bad with hair, like me!) P.S. You're one of the most gorgeous people I've ever seen, including magazine models!!!!
I have super frizzy hair and this works just fine with my hair ( I literally have twice as much hair as the her) and it comes out yes messier but cute and chic at the same time. So go for it even if you have ur hair frizz like the pyramids!
i'm in LOOOVE with your hair colour!!!! I've been trying to get something like that for the longest time, but my asian hair just does not agree with any sort of lightening :(
I love it!! Anw, I really love your make up tutorials and I see that mostly you use BH cosmetics cool shimmer palette. I really want to buy this palette, but I have beige, warm skin tone. I wonder if this palette will suit my skin tone. Do you have any suggestion??? Thank's a lot for your help!!
@Shelita9 Water aerobics or anything that’s in water. It's low impact, helps you lose weight or get fit depending on the type of workout and plus it's fun! You can do it all year round (heated or indoor pool in winter and a normal one for summer and if you wanted to you could work on your tan too :D. I hope this helped.
Hi ♥! Question: for the sea salt activator, do you need to add anything besides the salt? Also what's the radio? And for the baby powder, will it work if you're a brunette? Reason I ask is because my hair is black and I've never tried it and since I don't wash it every day this would be real helpful! Thanks beautiful! :)
The music in this video magically changed from the first time I watched it and I'm upset about it lol. It was "left too late" by florrie but now it's this
When I saw the thumbnail for this video, it made me wonder what you're planning for your wedding hair!! Have you posted what you're doing in another video? Or are you keeping it a secret until the big day?!
lol your not supposed to put alot every time you shake a tiny bit into your hand, then your massage the powder into your hair very good till theres none left hope this helps! :)
Baby powder won't be visible even if you have dark hair. All you have to do is apply and rub it in by messing your hair up and the whiteness should disappear after you do it for a while :) It's great for getting rid of greasy hair.
the RUclips algorithm is at it again and I'm not complaining. Rachel literally doesn't age! Can't believe it's been 10 years already 🤯

Idk why this was recommended to me now in 2019 but I’m so excited for this
Same, but 2020

Were you even married during this video? It was so long ago! Love to see how much you've progressed 😂 you should do a reacting to old videos

Rachel I genuinely think what it is is that everything looks so good on you!

RUclips recommended this video to me, and it is the first of your videos I watched 11yrs ago, so today's watch was a nostalgic one 🥰

So RUclips decided to recommend me rach's video 10 years later, and i don't know what to make of it? Is it because I binge Rach's videos? RUclips is strange...smh
What a strange algorithm wormhole I’ve fallen into. No music, no voice, bad lighting. Excellent.
Love that this showed up in my recommended in 2022 and honestly I’m still here for these looks
you've gotten sooo much better at editing your videos in the last 2 years!
Watching this in 2021 and still enjoying it 😊
OMG I love Florrie! You are the first person who I've noticed that likes her too! Seriously... I've asked all my friends and they don't know who she is. Smh. lol Love your tutorials

Obsessed with the fact that this is recommended to me 9 years later.
Great hair do :) FYI: Cornstarch works as a great dry shampoo...but doesn't smell as pretty as baby powder.
That's help me for my sisters wedding party tonight!! very simple.. but elegan.. :)
Such cute styles I liked them both a lot!

I love the second one! I wish I had longer hair like yours, but I'm still going to try it out! :) Thanks for this!
I really like messy bun #2. I looks great on you too. Is it harder on shorter hair and can you use hairties?
Love this how to! :) Btw, what's your lipstick brand that you wearing? It's so lovely
Anyone else have this show up in the recommended section in 2021 😂✔️
Or use coconut oil C: Make's your hair shiny! Just use to replace your conditioner c; You may want to leave it in for 10-15 mins xo Works a treat C;

Rache You look so angry here I dont kno why 😁 At the same time I have in mind that You are such a fun and positive person x. x
sea salt to your hair can give you dry and slipt ends but loovee these hairstyles might do one hehe lovee you :)
Recommended In 2021 but I love rach! So I’m watching anyway lol
lol your not supposed to put alot every time you shake a tiny bit into your hand, then your massage the powder into your hair very good till theres none left hope this helps! :)
You are so pretty and inspiring. I love your videos!
Même si je comprend rien à l'anglais,j'aime beaucoup ta vidéo !
That was actually really helpful! Thanks! But you should do a tutorial for girls with thicker hair too
do u have a video tutorial on the make up look u're wearing on this video? it's gorgeous!
Oh my gosh! Baby Rach!
Baby powder won't be visible even if you have dark hair. All you have to do is apply and rub it in by messing your hair up and the whiteness should disappear after you do it for a while :) It's great for getting rid of greasy hair.
I love the second bun! Definitely using it for a party tomorrow (:
It worked, despite my braided afro hair! brilliant!
I love this make up:) what lipstick do you use? it's amazingggg
