Same here, It's a fucking shame considering the price of the guitar, thank you so much for this video. I purchased this guitar , and in the end I had to return it and get my money back, never again Fender, at least for metal guitars.

There is an internal ground wire must be broken. Under warranty take to authorized repair shop or dealer. Truss Rod too should be easy to turn. Your dealer is there for advice and help. I worked at a dealer.

Hi man, the truss rod is acually way better than the one with bigger hole. This allows you to set up the neck both ways, so you can drop it to lower tunings and set the strings lower without rattle noise.

Maybe I missed something but isn't the EMG grounded internally and not the body......?

I have exactly the same problem with the telecaster model. (But with fishman fluence pickups).
I drilled a hole to link the bridge and the volume pot like you’ve done but still the same problem.
The only difference is that if I touch the strings the hum stops (like when you touch the the jack output).
It also stops when I touch the jack output.
Could you please help me ?
    Thanks a lot!

You shouldn’t need to do anything to it because EMG’s don’t require grounding. I know this because I’ve built two Jim Root signature guitars already and neither one needed any grounding.

@@MisterSEHATHimself well regardless, it’s impressive that you were able to rig something up to make that work better. Good job.

@@gh0stcrz978mine keeps buzzing though. i just wanted to use one and it keeps buzzing no matter what. it doesn’t buzz when my palm is near the volume knob. so idk what to do now. aside from doing what i’ve been told from the pickups manual for a single humbucker ☹️

Aku punya Cort CR300 pakai aktif EMG Retro Fat55. Buat best performance nya gitar

Did you get a discount? If it has problems return it for a new one or ask for a portion of your money back. Good luck bro🤘👍
