At the orphanage nearby I gathered a bunch of them in the local park and held a hunger games style competition where the lone survivor would be adopted by me. The crazy thing is that the winner ended up being the child I given up for adoption just the year prior because she refused to subscribed to Pinely’s channel. When we met at the winners circle she said “Papa, before we go home I want you to know I’ve been watching Pinely videos for the entire year and I have something to say; can we just take a minute to appreciate how good Pinely’s videos are?” I hugged her so tight. Then on the drive home she said something antisemetic so I pushed her out of the car and went and got a Beast Burger. It was a good day.

Both sides are wrong, people have to learn that it's never black and white. In the media of the past rich people were seen as the "villains" in some way like you said and over exaggerated, going too far on one side of the spectrum. That isn't right because it's very generalising of how wealthy people act, which is wrong as a lot of wealthy people are chill and you know.. have morals. Now the media is going too far on the opposite end of the spectrum. It's fine to talk about money as that's how we ll be financially educated but at this point all that people seem to be interested in are "Mr beast style" videos when a massive amount of money (especially if it's money the public can win) is what has people obsessed with watching
The story of what happened with Ian, Anthony and Smosh is really depressing. They did not make current RUclipsr millions. They sold their channel to a shit company for stock in that company. The company never went public and then folded. They were paid a salary by that company and that’s all they got. Rhett and Link ended up buying Smosh just so their friend could continue doing what he loves.

@@carnuatus To be fair I don't follow him closely so I don't know that. But I always got more of he's an entertaining listener kind of vibe with the interviews which is a flawed approach to loads of topics he "interviews" on
I’ve gotten a weird vibe from him for the past few years. It feels like he’s grown to a major corporate conglomerate rather than some dude. I feel like he does so much performative charity that people don’t want to constructively critique him or think he’s anything but perfect. I think the more he goes with only positive feedback, the more corporate he’s going to get.
Every time he's speaking candidly and honestly, or when he's talking to "finance influencers", I never get a positive impression. He seems extremely greedy and cynical. The "charity" is the way he found to get himself rich. I don't see his heart being in helping people at all. It's 100% a game, and he rubs me the wrong way more and more.
@@WinterReflections The two polar opposites A. He is doing this for charity and to help people B. He is greedy and cynical and he is doing it to help himself Personally Im... In between? Maybe he started out with good intentions. But he has failed time and time again to target the actual issues. Its a bandaid, not a solution. And charity like that is based in the rich people believing theyre more moral than poor peope. And frankly treating unfortunate people like props? Hah. No. Gross
@@elvingearmasterirma7241 i think it’s both. You see this all the time with people who get famous or write books about helping the needy while travelling. They’ll take photos with the poor and sick children, show off how much they’re helping them then once the cameras are off, they don’t care. It’s all to push out the idea that they’re helpful and kind, while infact they don’t care about the people they’re helping, they just care about their image. Mr beast uses the people in his videos as props. Several people have said that in real life, he’s rude. His former employees alleged he berated staff and created a toxic work environment. Yet on camera, we see a kind man who’s giving away his riches. It’s all a farce. Whenever I see people giving away stuff on camera for views/admiration/money, I automatically think of communal narcissism. I am in no way going to attempt to diagnose him as I don’t know Mr beast. I’m also not a mental health professional. It’s just important to acknowledge that this type of narcissistic behaviour is common within rich/powerful groups. While I don’t think refusing to support someone due to them being a narcissist is a good enough reason, I do think insincerity and lack of compassion is. Mr beast has been shown not to truly care about the people he showcases in his videos. People’s core values don’t change because of money and people don’t lose empathy because of money. Lack of empathy is something that develops during the childhood years, and generally lacking empathy for those around you can be an advantage if you want to make a good bit of money. That’s my take on him anyway
I never seen people want such a reason to dislike someone 😂😂😂. I’m curious to these videos that he has had where he’s greedy. Dude had to get a house in a better location because his house was getting broken in to. Ignorance is truly bliss

I work in the charity/non profit sector and I can confidently say that although any donation to charity is really really apperciated Charities almost always prefer long term donation instead (like giving monthly) because it allows them to budget for the long term. they can’t hire staff or take on a bigger plan with it because that money will run out but and you they’ll no longer be able to afford those expenses. Even if you can only give a little every month that money goes farther than a one time donation
I'm really glad you mentioned that people seem to completely ignore all the wrongs someone does just because they do "charity". While many Burundians and other Africans (including myself) expressed their discomfort about that video and how annoying it is that some people only see Africa as this poor, desolated region (and I say region because many forget it's a whole continent) they can use to make content or make themselves look good, we were met with comments dismissing it with "but he did this and that! Clearly he's a great guy!"
it's the middle class american mom saying "there are starving children in africa" whenever their kid doesn't like a certain food. like ma'am, they're allowed to dislike that food and poverty is shockingly (/sarcasm) not exclusive to one continent. an unfortunate amount of people still somehow think that the entire continent of africa isn't just a desert full of war and poor, starving kids
In the UK there was a kids presenter who did loads for charity, got knighted had tv shows to make kids dreams come true. Most kids thought he was creepy and gave off bad vibes while adults thought he was amazing. When he died loads of stories came out about his sinister goings on. I get the same vibes from Mr. beast but it’s the kids that love him and say you’re jealous while the adults think he’s a bit creepy.
Very late comment, but, it's not just you don't worry. I always had an off vibe about him, coming from an environmental science background, I was a bit confused and suspicious about the Team Trees vs Team Seas campaign. His target audience was younger than me so I had never really looked into his content. But the campaign, from what I knew from bits and pieces, seems weirdly structured since both planting trees and reducing pollution are both important objectives. They shouldn't be pitted against each other. It seemed to me at the time that the whole thing was more promotional than true activism or charity work. Now that everything has come out, it's safe to say it's all a huge facade.
You might be pleased to find out that Mr. Beast is now being exposed for being an overall evil person. I always had a hunch, since what he did felt more exploitative than altruistic, but having this confirmation is really satisfying.
A note that Pinely probably already knows: in Judaism there are differing tiers of charity, and the highest is when it is entirely anonymous, meaning giving to give, no potential of gain or gaining clout off of it. It’s also the only Mitzvah that I know of where doing the action does not have a prayer, you are supposed to give once again for the sake of giving, not to get attention from god or anything like that.
@@poilaaliop thank you. It seems that beyond just the making of big public charity efforts to seem good, where we have reached with Mr. Beast goes beyond that to just the commodification of charity as contradictory as that sounds
@@henryfleischer404 yeah, it’s interesting since a core part of Judaism is studying the Torah, which then also lead to study of other things and also constant discussion of and thus reinterpretation of the text based on the norms of the times and the writings of previous rabbis, allowing Judaism to frequently modernize successfully and smoothly despite being a religion from the Bronze Age, though it’s also divided heavily across differing opinions and traditions. There are some funny stuff with the rabbis writing and discussing and looking at what those who came before said, like the part of the Torah that says that a disobedient child will be stoned. Of course any reasonable person beyond the time where it was originally written (and even then likely only in severe circumstances) can see that stoning your child is… dumb, so you have the first rabbi who looks at the wording and determines that the child specifically has to have gotten drunk off of a specific type of alcohol and eaten a specific food or something, then the next guy comes along and based on some funny wording (and creative liberties) that the text is clearly implying that in order for the requirement to be fulfilled the parents have to be… identical, then like a couple other people add on similarly and expand the ideas of previous rabbis, then you finally have the last one who, seeing all of the things that get in the way of the rule being carried out as presented and argued by the previous generations of rabbis, that this could not have possibly been upheld and so could not have possibly been meant to have been upheld, what an interesting and enlightening piece of text it is which does not lead to the stoning of children, how wise is the lord. You get the point. Basically beyond the Torah the next most important text is the Talmud, which is the discussions of rabbis on the text, formatted in an interesting way showing the evolution of ideas basically from the inner-most to outer-most, which is then followed by the Midrash, which is basically another layer of that, rabbis discussing the Talmud Ah shit i rambled. TLDR: something something rabbis scholarship interesting ancient discussions
A similar message is in the new testament, (Mathew 6:1-4) wish it was more emphasised in Christianity. Although it does still promote the idea of charity for heavenly rewards, which I disagree with as an atheist.

the giant amounts of cash have started to feel sterilized. in the first few videos I watched from MrBeast the money was blowing me away, it was so insane, the whole focus went to the big big money number. now the money just has "lost its magic", it's a means to an end. I've started enjoying the moments of the challenges and people in them more than the moments with the money.
If you pay attention, most of the time the money isn't the focus of the videos anyways. Even the first video he did where he gave $10,000 to a homeless man, most of the video was focused more on the homeless man talking about his experience. Some videos this is more true than others, but even looking at his most recent video it seems, aside from all the random goofy ahh challenges and moments they throw in to appeal to little kids, they're trying to push a narrative that's less about money and more about family.
I have a younger cousin who is around 12 and he used to be OBSESSED with money based challenges, especially a couple of years ago. he's since grown out of it as he's matured but it does worry me that kids younger than him might not grow out of the mindset
It's so crazy, $1000 seems like so much to me. It would be a crazy help to me and my family, but that's so little in any mr. Beast video. Like that's the MINUMUM he gives to people.
Mr. Beast fans are some of the most frustrating people on this site. There was a video on what happened with the Piggly Wiggly, where he had to cancel a video because word spread that he was buying the entire store out. Someone commented that they would only ask for a picture. I explained the generational differences, that most of the people in the video had kids with them, that the median income of the area was relatively low, that Piggly Wiggly wasn't a high-end market, etc. The conversation ended with two whole, entire, theoretically sentient people conflating being poor with being a bad person and accepting help or charity with stealing. These were probably just kids, but they have bought so fully into the idea of meritocracy that they see people in need and assume they have actively done something to deserve to be there. They would defend a millionaire's potentially hurt feelings over people's survival. These fans definitely aren't learning to be more charitable and empathetic.

@@Chibi_Mercury That's fine. Being entertained is okay. I still watch Disney productions, and there's plenty of shady stuff there. Some actual quotes from people in a Mr. Beast video in which he gave people cases of $10k to hide in a mall and would take it away from them if he found them within a time limit. Also at a point in the video he called in a swat team who used drones with thermal cameras to find people and then let the swat members keep the money from the people they found. - "I'm a super broke college student. This money would actually change my life." - "10 grand would mean a lot, not only for me, but for my family." - "My kids are gonna have a real vacation." How does nobody see how insane that is? Growing up my dad always taught me to spend wisely and that money is important So even now I don't waste anything if I have some spare cash left You simply have to value money Even a 100$ is a lot of money but nowadays when I see 1k$ on RUclips it doesn't faze me I am so desensitized to it I feel like kids are being taught the wrong lesson. They need to value money
teach them than an hour of labor is around 8 bucks, teach them to quantify items in terms of hours of labor. Your issue will be fixed. "This shirt costs 3 hours," is how I think about luxury purchases, I've never overspent. I was homeless for bout a decade but had more in savings than a lot of middle class families because I just never spent what I didn't need to. There's a happy middle, obviously, you don't have to break your lease and start hopping freight trains to save cash, but I was already a hobo so 🤷
I cannot express how much it bothers me that this money-centric content is pushed towards kids. Literally last week we were getting snacks for a movie night with my younger brother and a friend & my friend was like “uh, who’s paying for the snacks? I’m broke lol” and before I could say I was, my brother said, “oh, don’t worry, Amelia will. She has a card” Like??? Yeah, I am buying snacks but you think that having a card = unlimited money??? It just seemed so bizarre not only because it’s a crazy thing to believe but also because we were definitely raised to be frugal. Also, you KNOW I made him switch out that name brand soda. This is very interesting given MrBeast has exceeded Pewdiepie in subscriber count. It set off a debate on whether they are on the same category since MrBeast can be considered a corporation at this point.
I mean yea Mr beast isn't really a RUclipsr More of a gameshow host of sorts whilst Felix still makes videos from his room Mr beast on the other hand spends millions on sets with tens of cameramen and lots of other people involved At that point that's just TV rather than RUclips
I wonder what Felix’s subscriber count would be though if there wasn’t that campaign/contest against T Series. But can we take a moment to appreciate eveyone for giving us that parasocial dopamine for saying "can we take a moment to appreciate Pinely?" when we already took it by watching the video? Can we take every moment that will come from this point on? Someone else took mine :(
The concept you're looking for to describe those "Kids with an unlimited credit card" videos is "conspicuous consumption". It's the idea that holding capital isn't enough; the wealthy must also flaunt it in a way that induces envy and imitation in their neighbors. Conspicuous consumption in this sort of media serves a second purpose, which is to suggest to the audience that this excess and luxury is attainable to them, as long as they keep their heads down, keep "grinding" (read as "getting exploited"), and get incredibly lucky.
I definitely think RUclips will have cultural shift when it comes to money over the next few years. With reports of a potential world recession, I feel people's attitudes could easily change to the way they view some of these RUclipsrs that make it all about cash in their videos. Even recently, I've noticed (at least in the irish space twittersphere) that former people who used to love MrBeast quickly changed their opinion about him when he interacted with Elon Musk on twitter. So it will be interesting to see what happens if a recession does happen and the way people view creators that make their videos all about money. Fantastic video essay as always :D
Could well be. There's a lot in this materialistic worship of money and designer clothes that resembles the 80's. The yuppies and all the crap that American Psycho critizises. It all went down with the recession and the grunge culture. At least where I live.
there was that twitter trend where everyone tried to cancel any celebrity who tried to show even a bit of money during lockdown. I can see them moving on to youtubers eventually.
I wonder if the glorification of money will have similar effects down the line similar to how Instagram creates insecurity about looks. Like when Jimmy says that his young fans donate their pocket money to charity I cant help but think how inadequate they would feel when they're 20 and can't afford to donate because of rent. Idk maybe I'm just extrapolating too far but I think the analog to body Image and insecurity is worth talking about.
A lot of the stuff we engage with/consume now relies on us feeling incomplete or not fully secure as people and body image/your perception to other people in the case of money or giving to charity are just other examples of it. It sucks ass, and a lot of these people are going to take a long time to figure out what might have taken us a couple years at most since it really picked up Becomimg the best version of yourself is the only conceivable thing I can think that isn't tied with numbers or how one looks and even that's vague at best. Even if it's hard, we can't roll over and accept it as anything other than harmful
We need to divorce the idea of charity from itself. What I mean by that is that we shouldn't consider charity good on its own. The intention matters. If we day that it doesn't, then we turn the world into some kind of version of a GTA world. Do a bunch of bad things that give you a bad reputation, and then get rid of all that "badness", whether legal, moral or ethical, by simply paying a charity a fraction of what you possess.
and what exactly did mrbeast do bad in this whole scenario? make a bunch of money and then give that money away while filming and posting it on youtube only to make more money and to give it away again and so on and so forth while also living a minimalistic lifestyle? and that's somehow bad. literally nothing illegal or exploitative going on behind it either so how about we put the burden of teaching kids the meaning of money and what makes you truly happy on parents and the education system instead of some youtuber
That is an interesting point but I think it needs more nuance. Regardless of intention, someone benefiting from that charity would benefit even if the intention was good or bad. To the person being helped, it doesn’t truly matter. Charity itself is seen as a good thing because there is always someone being helped, so it would be almost redundant to say “you helped this person but your intentions…” because you still helped them.

Can we appreciate how Pinley has cool colored lights and dynamic camera angels in his videos. Truly makes his videos feel like cinema, Scorsese would approve.
Charity exists for the purpose of capital holders putting their capital toward whatever they are ideologically in favor of rather than paying it to society in taxes. That's not to say it doesn't do good in society, but it's a way of forestalling wealth redistribution.

I've actually avoided Wolf of Wall Street for the longest time because of how people glorified the worst aspects of it, which made me think that was what the movie was about: glorifying wealth and money. Now that I know the guy faces consequences, I can go and watch it rn.
Mr beast and his content just gives me weird vibes... idk it's hard to argue against a guy giving away tens of thousands (up to a million) of dollars away go schools and families and stuff but something about the challenge aspect and how he films it and promotes it to children feels weird. Also anyone who just shows off how much money they have access to feels sorta scummy, even if its under the notion of "charity"
I'd agree with this take if MrBeast didn't use the money from these videos to continue his charity work. He's done it in a way where putting his donations on camera is a good thing whether it's for the clout or not
It's kind of embarrassing how films like Wolf of Wall Street and Fight Club are some of my favorites. Because like Piney explains even if they clearly show the downfall of these characters and lifestyles, most people only notice the glorification.
On one hand, the mistreatment of animals would go down by a little bit. On the other hand, those who cannot go vegan (as their bodies may not withstand it) may not live to see another day. I didn't mean to start this... I guess I cannot express my thoughts on the internet...
While I have barely watched enough Mr Beast to comment on him with any specificity, I would like to bring up the fact that we always tend to look at morality as a polarity. Actions lie on a spectrum from evil to godly. That's why it feels wrong to criticise someone who is giving away so much money to charity. But that isn't necessarily the best way to look at morality. What if good and bad deeds didn't cancel each other out. What if the same person can be seen as both evil and good, and we attempt to look beyond the dissonance it causes. Imagine an alternate history where Hitler had committed all the atrocities he did but he also somehow developed a cure for cancer. It would be insane to suggest that because he cured cancer, we cannot criticise him for being an evil tyrant. But it would be equally insane to not value the contribution to medicine that a cure for cancer would represent. One does not cancel out the other. Both are significant in their own right, and as difficult as it as for the human psyche to sit with this dissonance, I think its important that we start practicing this kind of mindfulness.
17:30 about this, people really do struggle with the idea that someone can do a good thing that is good and then also do a bad thing that is bad and have both of those be true simultaneously. Like, the good thing is good regardless of the bad thing but also the bad thing is still bad regardless of the good thing. It's not that hard
Love the visuals and music in this video! I always felt discomfort watching those "we spend a lot" videos as I've been raised to believe wasting food is an awful thing to do and for me it's the same with money. I don't hate people who do it obviously but it's painful to watch.
One possibly similar but different flavor of the phenomenon is people who refuse to believe certain figures can do anything wrong. They give circular answers about how the wealth proves they are smart and right about everything, as if the only way to get rich is to genuinely have an impossible amount of merit.
Writing this I now wonder if there's any relation with those financial influencers that imply you can be wealthy like them I wonder if people ever grow out of Mr Beast...and into the hands of people who will scam them, luring them in with the promise of a luxurious lifestyle.

@@WinterReflections The two polar opposites
A. He is doing this for charity and to help people
B. He is greedy and cynical and he is doing it to help himself
Personally Im...

"Kidz Bop version of the Wolf of Wall Street" was the funniest and most accurate phrase I heard all day 😂
I'm really glad you mentioned that people seem to completely ignore all the wrongs someone does just because they do "charity".
Real

A note that Pinely probably already knows: in Judaism there are differing tiers of charity, and the highest is when it is entirely anonymous, meaning giving to give, no potential of gain or gaining clout off of it.
It’s also the only Mitzvah that I know of where doing the action does not have a prayer, you are supposed to give once again for the sake of giving, not to get attention from god or anything like that.
I didn't know that, thanks for sharing! It's a seriously beautiful idea, I wish more people looked at charity that way.

I've got to do some more research on Judaism. I'm not religious, but many of my ancestors are Jewish, and they seem to have a lot of good ideas.
Basically beyond the Torah the next most important text is the Talmud, which is the discussions of rabbis on the text, formatted in an interesting way showing the evolution of ideas basically from the inner-most to outer-most, which is then followed by the Midrash, which is basically another layer of that, rabbis discussing the Talmud
Ah shit i rambled. TLDR: something something rabbis scholarship interesting ancient discussions
A similar message is in the new testament, (Mathew 6:1-4) wish it was more emphasised in Christianity. Although it does still promote the idea of charity for heavenly rewards, which I disagree with as an atheist.

If you pay attention, most of the time the money isn't the focus of the videos anyways.

When we are all living in the streets we won't care anymore about Mr Beast videos because no one will have money to pay for wi-fi.
It sucks ass, and a lot of these people are going to take a long time to figure out what might have taken us a couple years at most since it really picked up
Becomimg the best version of yourself is the only conceivable thing I can think that isn't tied with numbers or how one looks and even that's vague at best. Even if it's hard, we can't roll over and accept it as anything other than harmful
You wonder at some point they tell the landlord that they donated money so they need "charity" from their landlord. Who knows but it is worrisome
We need to divorce the idea of charity from itself. What I mean by that is that we shouldn't consider charity good on its own. The intention matters. If we day that it doesn't, then we turn the world into some kind of version of a GTA world. Do a bunch of bad things that give you a bad reputation, and then get rid of all that "badness", whether legal, moral or ethical, by simply paying a charity a fraction of what you possess.
and what exactly did mrbeast do bad in this whole scenario? make a bunch of money and then give that money away while filming and posting it on youtube only to make more money and to give it away again and so on and so forth while also living a minimalistic lifestyle? and that's somehow bad. literally nothing illegal or exploitative going on behind it either
so how about we put the burden of teaching kids the meaning of money and what makes you truly happy on parents and the education system instead of some youtuber

@@yurrskiiii Would you really say it isnt up to the youtuber to make sure the content they are creating isnt sending a bad message? Sure he doesnt HAVE to, whatever, but i think selling gambling to kids is bad in the same way i think its bad to exploit childrens' impressionable minds by teaching them to be materialistic. Can we appreciate how Pinley has cool colored lights and dynamic camera angels in his videos. Truly makes his videos feel like cinema, Scorsese would approve.
yeah he really gonched the hell out of this vid
His use of lights and cameras angles bring a fresh feel to the video genre.
I like how this kind of video resurface..
In the US, donations can be used as tax write offs. Wonder if this is relavant to this genre of content 🤔

This has convinced me that greed should be a lower layer in dante’s inferno
well dantes inferno was made so long ago, we couldn’t have known the depths of avarice
Charity exists for the purpose of capital holders putting their capital toward whatever they are ideologically in favor of rather than paying it to society in taxes. That's not to say it doesn't do good in society, but it's a way of forestalling wealth redistribution.
Also tax avoidance. Lets be honest here
I wonder if he launders money, like unironically
With how famous he is it wouldn't even be worth it risking that
Remember: Only ironic money-laundering if you wanna keep it above board kids!

He doesn’t. I can tell you that right now. He has been losing money on his main channel for years.

Something on Mr. Beast is unsettling. Something about these glorifications of money is scary. It all feels like we're missing something.
I gotta point out your music choices, they have been AMAZING in the past few videos. Really enjoyed the video. Keep it up pinely.
I can’t join the patreon but I fully support it! You’ve been on a roll lately and I really look forward to your video essays, they’ve become some of my favorites to watch. Not only because of the interesting topics that I usually don’t see being covered but also just the stylistic choices, structuring and delivery of the videos makes them so great!
Pinely was a year early for the drama
*I love when MrBeast said "It's Beastin' time!" and Beasted all over the money. Truly one of the beasts of all time.*

I don't think Mr Beast is a bad guy, I just wish people would see him for the bandaid salesman he is. Bandaids are helpful but they'll never cure a serious problem.

this is weird to say to a complete stranger, but I am so proud of you! When I first subscribed to this channel you were making pretty run-of-the-mill commentary videos about the latest trending topics, (which is totally fine, not knocking that), but it's been so cool to see you grow and evolve into making these really thoughtful, interesting video essays that dig deeper into the bigger issues behind the internet fads.
I was done with beast when people claimed he cured blindness. Like does no one understand how optic nerves work? When your blind your blind. Its messed up but thats how it goes. Claiming something so outrageous is like claiming beast is some Christ like figure, and he definitely isn't. All his glazers gave him this power
your sponsored segment integration is the best, seriously i was three quarters of the way through the advert before i realized i was even watching an advert

I've actually avoided Wolf of Wall Street for the longest time because of how people glorified the worst aspects of it, which made me think that was what the movie was about: glorifying wealth and money. Now that I know the guy faces consequences, I can go and watch it rn.
Wall Street is a great morality tale. It still inspired the people who wrecked the economy in 2008.
It kinda has the "dance for me pleb" vibe to me.
@@Bob-wr1md This is probably the reason ruclips.net/video/w-mZ2Qnp_Uc/видео.html
It is a profitable TV show production with prizes. It is nothing new.
I'd agree with this take if MrBeast didn't use the money from these videos to continue his charity work. He's done it in a way where putting his donations on camera is a good thing whether it's for the clout or not
Gee, its almost as if he needs to make money in order to have it to give away.
I saw his old content giving to people money as a Poverty Corn until he moved on to participating Contest for money
It's kind of embarrassing how films like Wolf of Wall Street and Fight Club are some of my favorites. Because like Piney explains even if they clearly show the downfall of these characters and lifestyles, most people only notice the glorification.
It's wild how many old videos pointing to MrBeasts hidden self are coming at the same time(except andrew tate's he's just talking shit like always).
Oh, this video is a year old…
1:25 is something else with the recent controversies
The fact that your little brother would use the money to abolish the meat industry is honestly so wholesome 🥺

This was beautiful to read, love your way of thought
RUclips is really shoving these videos down my throat. 😂😂😂

That video of little Pinely dancing is so funny to me for some reason
One possibly similar but different flavor of the phenomenon is people who refuse to believe certain figures can do anything wrong. They give circular answers about how the wealth proves they are smart and right about everything, as if the only way to get rich is to genuinely have an impossible amount of merit.
Writing this I now wonder if there's any relation with those financial influencers that imply you can be wealthy like them
I wonder if people ever grow out of Mr Beast...and into the hands of people who will scam them, luring them in with the promise of a luxurious lifestyle.
I can't believe you were the mastermind behind "Little Freak Alien Child"! One of the real classics of RUclips, been on my playlists for years!
