I’m a VTH viewer, his recent reaction introduced me to your channel. This is SO interesting. You’ve got yourself a new subscriber Also this is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, and fascinating
Similar - I am a VTH subscriber but this is on my doorstep (15 minute drive) and is a favourite of mine. You brought the importance of this little place alive (although you didn't mention the excellent chippy or the exhaustive walk up to the castle). New subscriber in me !
@@simonlear3529 Jones alluded to the exhaustive walk, however it wasn't too bad really. As for the chippy, we actually went there and I think there's a shot of the chippy you may be referring to in this video.
I was already thinking of a NSFW nickname for the cave before you revealed it- I see humor has hardly changed. This is a gorgeous place, well done video!
All this talk of Devil’s arses and Winnetts and whatnot has got me giggling way too much. A bit of history, a bit of nice countryside and a bit of a laugh. Nice one lads
I used to live in North East Derbyshire. Beautiful countryside. Been to Peak Cavern many times with school. Also the Devil's Arse, which many people think I made up. 😂 Been to the castle and Castleton many times too. The village of Eym is interesting to visit too. Ah winnats pass, the first place to get closed with a bit of snow. It's not the best road, if you have never driven on it before. Cat & fiddle can be scary too, if you aren't familiar with the road. Lots of bends, and fast drivers, who know the road. Think we might have to take a day trip for a walk with the dog. I live in Lincoln now, not too far. Very flat here, I miss the hills. 😅
We had a decent day so Winnat's pass was a breeze, traffic was merciful too. Besides the sheep it was okay and there was enough room to pass traffic. Felt confident driving it, though it was certainly a steep hill at the top.
I love castles and any videos about castles. glad VTH sent me here. Leaving this comment about the beginning of the video 'cause I'm about to send it to my tv. Got to find my copy of Chronicles of Narnia and figure out if the layout matches the Peverell's castle at all.

Greetings from the VTH channel. Loved his reaction and loving your videos.
Welcome!
Some very interesting physical geography there in the valleys and caves, as well as the cultural history

Thank you
🪔Thank you much...Beautiful country and I love Castles..
Castleton is a very picturesque place, the backdrop did most of the work this time for sure.
Agreed

By synching my chocolate eggsuck to Connor's I now finally feel the bond to him, I was seeking all this time. My soul is finally at rest.

The Jones cult of personality expands in mass.
I live not far from Castleton, and it was very nice to see you talking about a place so familiar to me, so thank you

@@DecadesVideos Take a drive in Sheffield, some reight steep roads. Not fun. 😂
@@FoxyFoxlyn what reason would I have to go to Sheffield?
@@DecadesVideos Good point. There isn't one. There is the haunted pub, which apparently is the most haunted in England, but many claim that.
