    Have watched many grooming videos and this is by far the best one I've seen. You have inspired me to have confidence to attempt to groom my Yorkiepoo puppy without the overuse of clippers. Hopefully over time she will become as calm as your beautiful pup and enjoy the process. Very calming to watch, thanks a million.

      How's the potty training going? We got a 3 month old yorkie and she is tough to potty train!

    He's a good boy ! I have 2 yorkies and my boy is a nightmare to groom sometimes . I groom my kids myself and find that they are not stressed as they were when taken to the groomers. This here bundle was so chillled out and cooperative and I think the fact that you handled him so gently and your vioce has a lot to do with the dogs state of mind as well . I find that doing the under arms and shanks is a challange for me, so I will do these areas while they are on thair backs and get the undersides at the same time and the face area with a baby scissor. I enjoyed watching you groom this baby and tell him I think is the BOMB and very handsome with his blond self. You made it look so easy !! THANKS

    I have 3 standard poodle and a little Morkie. My Morkie takes after the Yorkshire Terrier in his coat and color. He has thin hair and it's quite curly. :) My poo's are my first babies and I've taught myself all of the fancy cuts on them. I have all professional grooming supplies, but it's been a NEW THING to learn how to groom a terrier. Thanks for showing me. I kind of figured it out on my own, but wondered if I had messed up. My 0 blade is quite big on him.

    I like the idea of making your table smaller with the white grid. How did you hold it in place? Thanks.

      I used the groomers helpers that I had connected to the arm and clamped it on the grid.

      The tail was docked when a few days old. It's done frequently where I live but recently breeders are not docking anymore and that's good.

      @@LoveofGroomingI think it's so wrong to dock a tail,there's no purpose to doing that, is one of a dogs ways to communicate, as well as eyes, ears etc. I have a beautiful pedgree Yorkie with a full tail, and I do get , how lovely to see a tail on a Yorkie.
      What a beautiful face you're has, a right model :)

    I have a question. I got my Yorkie after he was full grown. He is very skiddish and he's gotten use to me and my father but he hardly don't want to go around anyone else. I don't want to terrify the little thing but I swear he needs a hair cut something awful. I know how to cut dogs because we've been breading some kind of dog or another all my life. The last 2 I had were miniature schnauzers and although they are both terriors, he's different than they were. Should I try and cut him myself or should I let a dog groomer do it?

    • @LoveofGrooming
      @LoveofGrooming  5 лет назад

      If you can't do it yourself then a groomer is fine as long as he is not vicious and uncontrollable.
      It's best to get him used to other people and places so give it a try. I have groomed many dogs like yours. The first few groomings he may be scared but once he gets used to the groomer he is better. Get him on a grooming schedule such as every 4 to 6 weeks.

    Hi, I have a question if you could help if greatly appreciate it. I have a shorkie puppy that is in need of her first ever haircut. I've been researching but I'm getting confused about what comb attachments to use on the different areas of the body. My clipper set is the beautural brand and the attachments start at 1" and go down from there. Please help. Thank you in advance.

      Hi, I am not familiar with that brand of clipper. Is the spelling correct? Did you mean the Bravura?
