On March 12, 2023, The Niles Canyon Railway held opening day for the steam department. It was cold, it was rainy, but that never deters the public, whose love for this organization persists regardless of the weather!
Climb aboard 2-6-6-2T Clover Valley No. 4 for a unique look at Niles Canyon, from Sunol to Niles and back again. Along the way, we'll hear from some of the Pacific Locomotive Association volunteers who keep this beloved Bay Area treasure running like a well-oiled machine. A locomotive, to be more exact.

Grew up in Fremont CA. Joy land park was always fun as a kid and secrect sidewalk which is a secrect to you and the white which she's white because it's Fremont not Oakland

It would be really cool if the Niles Canyon Railroad got all of the signals on the line fully restored in placed back in service so the railroad would have a block signal system especially the old SP type, semi for signals
