Hi there most tourist and even a lot of Dutch people say the haring is raw, but the haring isn't raw it's chemically cooked with brine. I hope you enjoyed your stay here in the Netherlands.

The coloured cheeses is for tourists.. So you might have noticed : In Den Haag (The Hague) there are historically a large number of Indonesian people from when the times The Netherlands lost Indonesia as colony. We adopted the Indonesian food as almost being our national dishes. Even most of the Chinese people were from Indonesia but nowadays also from Suriname and China itself :) Rotterdam is the city with the largest community of different cultures being 1 of the biggest ports in Europe. If you can not find it in Rotterdam it does not exist ;-)
Whole food I mean whole world food is inside.. Lovely Darling VOLPES... Sophie nator and Carlo nator... Cheers, Pradeep Rajkumar. Pollachi,Tamilnadu-South India.
I like that sophie is genuine about it unlike most of the other food vloggers, hey Carlos man you dont have to cover up for your wifey, she is just being real.
The herring is not raw: it is fermented in its own enzymes. This is an old preserving called "kaken" where the herring is partly gutted (partly because of the enzymes) and layed in salt.
As an Indian living in the Netherlands, I'm loving these videos of yours. Craving samosas so bad now! Recently had Kolkata biryani and a lot of other bong food here to celebrate Durga Puja
I couldn't stop myself from posting this. Man whenever I watch you eating my mouth gets watery! So you can't even say me stop watching these and at the same time I wouldn't be able to obey those if you say. 🥂 Cheers from Kolkata!
I was going through your Indian journey and found that you're an ardent follower of Biryani where ever you go. So, thanks for keeping the tradition alive and spreading it across. Kanchenjunga became Chankangunja over there and Cinnamon became Cinnanum over here. Lol... And btw, one more thing, you need to try at least 20-30 Biryanis in Hyderabad first to decide which Biryani you'd like the most. 'Cause a lot of the hotels aren't giving you the good stuff. I suggest you should try some homemade Biryanis this time when you come over here. OK, I'll continue watching your travellin' 'round the world.
Loved this market pet friendly 🐱🐾 nice to see u both together 🤗 lovely couple. But you didn't try the biriyani? 😂 Carlos be like born in Venezuela, raised up in America, married to a French and loves Indian food 😃🤟
Vuil means trash\dirtystuff we separate verry well here for making recycling way more easy greetings from the Netherlands maastricht thumbs up 👍🏻 for your vlogs
12:36 You're in The Netherlands m8. We dont skimp out on cheese :D Also, "vuil" means garbage. We separate what we can and then have a bin for combined trash thats not easily recycled.
Fun fact. Indo/Malay food is really big the the Netherlands/Dutch as they were salve traders & took a lot of indo/Malays to South Africa & Netherlands. The more you now.
I think its really funny how people in the Netherlands are just talking to strangers as they know each other for ages! For me it’s normal but when I go to a other country most of the people don’t even say hi :)
Volpe just goes crazy with Indian food which is available everywhere.volpe even cooks a Indian food which is rare.lots of love to the Venezuelan born American guy.

Carlos you are so lucky to explore so many places
Trying new food everywhere you go, love it.
That was a lot of fun man . You're very brave to eat that raw herring . The building reminds me of a Zeppelin hanger . See you Carlos and Sophie
It can be eaten raw, most fish can be eaten raw like tuna and mackarel
