The more I want to lift up my mood by watching anime, the more I became depressed.

This was a bittersweet ending. I’m very interested in where the story goes in Season Two

She only loves Oscar across time. So no new lover. All I can say.
4:56 reminds of that other anime, where he lost his memories, and was like "what's the point of this whole thing!" so all the character building, all the other characters, I guess... it's a massive ps off cliff hanger , agree 11 ep would've been good end

I didn't like the ending. Literally until I found out in this video that season 2 was confirmed my thoughts were that's way to much of an open ending. I'm conflicted because this show was mid majority of the way but I feel obligated coming this far ,and like you said investing so much time, that I want to have hope that potential I seen will be realized
yeah, the ending plot was totally unnecessary and does not make any sense. it ruined the whole series.

@@grumpygizmo7199 in my opinion, not only did Oscar erased his current self but he also erased the current Tinasha. If i base it on reality, what makes a person is his or her experiences in life. therefore the current Tinasha and Oscar is totally a different person now. Anyway it is my own opinion and the way the story is going I have lost interest already.
I would have preferred if it ended with the wedding and the bit after the wedding (light novel) and save episode 12 as episode 0 of season 2.
But i get why they ended it like this as it is the end of Act one in the light novel.
In regards to the whole thing of Oscar disappearing, i believe that if Tinasha was saved, Oscar would have no reason to go back to the past to save her. They explained that if someone were to use the orb, their present(future) would disappear as the orb would just override it once the events were changed. Just like how if you start a new game and save it over an existing save file.

I watch anime to life up my mood but everytime I became more and more depressed😫😫😭
I just finished the anime, the pacing is fast af and weird... It feels like there's a lot of details and lore that the anime has skipped which is so sad. I went into this anime not expecting anything from it but as I kept watching I got hooked and fell in love with the protagonists. I really wanted them to be happy. Ep 12 of the anime kinda broke my heart like I cannot believe he chose to sacrifice what he has built up until the very end. The happy ending that he has worked for gone in 20 min. *sigh*. Also tinasha is very beautiful
Let me clear a misunderstanding, the story DOESN'T END AT VOL 6. Sure UM ends at vol 6 but here is why:
After UM there is a novel called "Babel" which happens 300 years after the events of act 2 of UM. It's about a Japanese woman being transported to the world of UM in the kingdom of Farsas where she meets a mage guy. Those two are the main characters BUT Oscar and Tinasha still appear as protagonists in the shadows. Babel has 4 Volumes and ended at vol 4.
But the story doesn't end there. Right after the events of Babel comes "Unnamed Memory * after the end*" which is the sequel to UM. Oscar and Tinasha are the protagonist again and it has 4 volumes to date, still being published. So the story didn't end yet!

thank goodness there is a season two I wound have been kind of bummed out if this is how it ended I was really enjoying this show, so I saw this or another ending for this season as soon as Oscar got sent to the past, and I appreciate that they pick this ending I don't think I like it but most stories do one of two things with being sent to the past. Eather they just learn something new about their spouse but also come to terms about not changing history, or they do change history but nothing really big changes, and I'm fine or really like the first option if its done well but hate the second because that does make that much sense and your letting your character make their cake and eat it too. but very very rarely a story does this, and for that I respect the creator a lot for that, and I think it makes perfect sense that Oscar disappears not because he save Tinasha but because he stop the destruction of a enter kingdom it would like if some one stop the third fall of Rome Great Britin or France would come about at least as we know how they would their colonies would happen meaning no American Revolution so no US so no Slave Trade Triangle so no Sliver War, and the me typing this right now would not exist. now that doesn't mean there won't be a Brandon Kirk born in that hypothetical world he just won't be me. Tinasha's kingdom surviving changes so much that even if Oscar does get born in this new time line he can't be the seme heck Tinasha's Kingdom might have taken over Oscar's kingdom with in that 400 year gap like there is so much that can change, and will change that ether Oscar is never born or the circumstances of his born making him a completely different parson that's my thoughts on the matter I was thing if they were going to do rewrite timeline or multiverse timeline for most of the episode but I thought they were ether going to not have Oscar come save her or take the cowards way out and have him both save and still have Tinasha. so I'm both happy and sad that they did this and it made my day when you said that they are making a second season thanks for the video sorry you didn't like the ending but I'll you know if I think season two is better

in the one side it's joyful how he treats with tinasha and suport her
but in other side that it looks like he betrayed her path of growing and he just leave her with her lonely life.
Or maybe some part of her didn't grow so much and he saw this way
I think I still not processing all of this..

There are 6 Light Novels and we are at the end of 3 I think. So it will somehow a happy end for both at the end of the completed anime. :)

This was my favorite episode of the season and I thought it was paced well and very emotional. I do agree with you in that I wish the author had ended book 3 with their wedding but he did not. Once Oscar changed the past the timeline was reset so he ceased to exist. Tinasha is queen for a short time and then puts herself to sleep so she can wake up in 400 years and find Oscar. Books 4 fo 6 is their story in the new timeline.
