Stephen Danton Thank you! Unto was one of the games I have been looking forward to and I loved the challenge. It scratched my itch for challenge. I would love to know why that guy attacked me if you wanted to let myself and others know!
@@mungonation Great to hear you liked it :). So that guy at the end... it was a bit of bad luck really... you offered him herbs and then walked away from him. If you look really closely at your playthru, or easier still, just retry the encounter, you'll notice that he offers you a necklace as a thank you for the herbs... BUT if you walk away from his offer he sees that as disrespectful and attacks you. Like a lot of stuff in Unto, his acceptance of the herbs and return offer is deliberate, you just happened to walk away a bit too fast :|. Perhaps more interestingly, that encounter is one of several that can be overcome without fighting, and depending on how you approach it impacts later encounters. Like most things in the game we don't hold your hand... letting you walk away, attack, etc, is all part of the role playing / story aspect of the game.
@@2TonStudios_Games I love that you put that thorough amount of detail even into that reaction. It's wonderful to hear your thought process, not just that I walked away too soon, but the fact that not taking my time and accepting his gift is a sign of disrespect for that character. Excited to get to know the game more =)
@@mungonation Thanks so much, truly. Sara and I worked super hard on the combat, and we're very proud of it... every creature is unique... we tried to make each of them a different challenge with different fighting styles, etc... but we're maybe even more proud of all the moments were you can fight, but don't have to... :).
@@2TonStudios_Games Hi! I wanted to thank you again for putting out such an engaging demo. I would love the opportunity to play and share more content if any new demos or the like for Unto The End are available before the release date of the game. Looking forward to seeing what the game has in store!
Unto dev here... just wanted to say thanks for playing our demo. If you want to know why that guy at the end attacked you let me know :). Cheers!
