That day I saw all the MVs, the more I saw the more surrendered I was and when I heard the Formula of love album it was "once through ears". Already at that point I know Mina as my Bias because of the MVs and her voice being so angelic and after listening to the album I confirmed it and had the same reaction as you towards Jihyo and in a way to everyone else. And the more albums I listened to and the more Time to Twice I saw I was madly in love with their personalities (for me they are the most genuine Kpop group), talent and charisma.
They do seem so genuine. I actually heard about them before doing reactions mostly because they were friends with so many other idols I follow which I think shows how friendly they are 😊
- When it comes to Headphones i find it cool that you found the chorus emptier than expected but still felt the chanting early on, i think that's why the live performances always come to my mind. I really like that it feels like it's comforting *from* that sadness, it's still in it instead of being purely uplifting from a better place outside of the narrator or listener (if that makes sense) - it's not really "don't be sad" it's more "ngl i'm sad but this music really helps" in which it helps process and slowly brings you out of the sadness, kinda like you said when you shared your experience. "I'm *not* fine but i'm not completely falling apart either" exactly ! And maybe in the story them seeing the end of the relationship coming is in parts why it didn't put them in a worse state - It might just be me and 10 other people but i genuinely love I'm Gonna Be A Star like unironically - the energy, pre-chorus' melodies, the raps, and Nayeon said if she's gonna have 1 line (x1000) she's gonna make sure the delivery is impeccable. I'm pretty sure it was the opening song for SIXTEEN, like if i remember correctly it's playing right off the gates as we get the intro of each contestant as they're all dancing to it together 😭 - I love that some of these songs have the whistle in them given that this is the album for Cheer Up and the concept is very sports adjacent I hope you see this but for lyric videos you might wanna check out the channel random_k as they have the most accurate ones, both in terms of actual translation and part distribution (they also do adlibs and i don't remember them being wrong so far). Idk if they have *all* of TWICE's older discography on it and you might want to try it out with songs you've already heard to get a good feel for it bc i know some find them distracting. I just thought i'd mention it since you'd get much more accurate lyrics *and* an answer as to who's going off in the back. Either way, it was fun to hear this album back alongside you !
