Great review! Will be in the Bahamas July 4 on MSc. Going to check out margaritaville. For all those saying that it should be all inclusive I agree but it’s all relative. We did an all inclusive day pass at the Riu palace the last time we cruised to the Bahamas. The price was 160 per person plus 20 taxi each way. Margaritaville is 110 per person and you can walk to it from the cruise port. That’s a 140 dollar difference! I am sure we can have a cocktail and share an entree and not spend that 140 so I think it’s a good bargain plus it’s a newer property. We have the drink package on the ship, we can have all the cocktails we want once back on the ship. The all inclusive is only worth it if your looking to indulge a lot and stuff yourself with food which is not our vibe. Looking forward to visiting!

we had our first trip to the island in march and didn't know anything about margaritaville. passed right by it on our way back to the ship and was disappointed because we were out of time. we'll be back next year and i'm planning to get day passes for the whole fam. thanks so much for the awesome video!!
Last time we went to the Bahamas a small cup of Cola poured out of a can was $15 and a meal easily $80. Will never go the Bahamas again..You can go to the Dominican Republic for $150/ Day all inclusive.

Pretty awesome place! Well worth the $$ for the day pass!! Spent the day there when I went on my Virgin Voyages cruise in February 2022..Loved it! Awesome pools, very cool lazy river and beach access was spectacular too!! Only 'gotcha' is that the food and drink prices are a bit steep..But, still worth the $$!

Hey Derrick, I will be on the Carnival Celebration in November and stopping on Nassau, Bahamas. I am sold on making this Margaritaville Resort myself "Day Beach." I bought a day pass from the "Resort Pass" app and we took a cab from the ship. Then we set up a time for the same cab driver to come back and get us.
It is a contender. We have been looking for something else to do in Nassau, Thanks for the information!

Can you just wall through the property after getting off a cruise ship without paying for a day pass. Or just walk there and eat lunch without paying for a day pass?
Yes, we walked in for free and even ate. No one questioned us and the staff was all friendly to us. Junkanoo beach is free next door.

This place looks pretty awesome! Haven’t heard much good about Nassau & was thinking about just staying in ship but I think I want to check this place out.
There are a whole lot more islands in the Bahamas other than Nassau that has a lot to offer. Each island has its own gem

Just came home Saturday from being a guest at margaritaville stood for 5 days so let's start by saying it's very clean ,service top notch rooms were beautiful water park was very nice if you have young kids .now for the negatives there's nothing to do after 6 pm nothing to see or eat stores in lobby are very expensive, so if you wanna stay there good luck if you like action stay at atlantis not even close ,so don't listen to people that get day passes there just happy to get off ship for the day on that note atlantis blows it away

We are leaving Aug 13 on the Dream, I was really glad to see your review of Margaritaville in Nassau. We were debating going there and after watching your video are planning to spend our day there. What did you do in Freeport? In the past Freeport has been one of my least favorite ports.
Looks beautiful but it’s $70 per adult for just use of the the resort, right? No drinks or food included?

The rate now shows $110 adults and $55 children 12 and under. Do you know if the rate is different walking up and buying vs buying online? Is it worth buying in advance?

Junkanoo Beach is free next door! And you can walk up to the bars and restaurants at Margaritaville free! I don’t think this is worth the money for a day pass.
I think the day passes are for lore like the water activities. You can go on the beaches for free like you said and the food stalls on Junkanoo are more pocket friendly than buying at the resort
