This one just shows that reading the comments, and liking of course the ones you agree with, is so important. I remember someone saying something about showing the additive added to silage as it is being added to the pile. Cole did show us that and schooled us on the importance of doing it. This is just hands down the best farming channel I have ever seen, by far! The humor and song of the days are too. Makes me feel like a distant relative of something, Cole, I thank you for putting these out and Brian for allowing you to do it in the first place! You guys' Rock, something Brian would understand if not Cole, he might though.
You know ,I feel the same. My life is better, because I found this channel. Thank you Cole, for ALL you do, for Brain allowing you to do it, and by golly, old Brain is a real rocker. Good thing he didn’t become a rock star.
I think my biggest takeaway from you channel is how there are 2 farms between the brothers and you all work together to operate both together. Family isn't what it used to be. So it's refreshing to see it.
It is virtually impossible now to start farming without the blessing of past generations that have led the way for those getting into it now. The cost is just to high....you are truly blessed.
Sonne’s crack corn 🌽 and they don’t care..Sonne’s crack corn 🌽 and they don’t care..Sonne’s crack corn 🌽 and they don’t care..masta’s gone away. (Not exactly how grandpa used to sing it but close enough) The drone footage is great, Cole! Hey Brian, hey Jeff! Where do we go, where do we go now? Ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay where do we go now, ah ah…sweet chi-ild Ellie the farm queen! Thanks guys for showing the hard work that goes into feeding folks. Your efforts are appreciated. Storla Station
Another day in the books. Lotsa progress, NO injuries. It doesn't get any better than that!! Pretty interesting how you set all that stuff up to make it work like that. Keeps a lot of people and a lot of machinery VERY busy. I find it really fascinating. Thanks for carrying me along on these trips. I really enjoy this.
Greetings from Argentina!! Hello Cole, always watching your videos and more now with your translation! Do not stop applying the system for the Latinos who follow you! The lack of rain is also affecting us around here, the winter crops are very affected and there is little water reserve in the soil for the summer crops. greetings there!
Great farming Cole, you're well on your way to keeping the family farm legacy. I'm proud watching growth and tenacity. But Dad's going to be keeping his field office, you know that right..... God Bless Sonne Farms and Family
It is only now that I understand why this old dairy farm had so many old tires laying around that I had to get rid of as we started to clean it up. Thanks Cole! One of life’s mysteries solved.
Around here, an old coon knows enough to turn our live traps over to get the door open. SO, I drive a fence post (the thin ones) through trap on the edge of the middle, and they then can't turn the trap over! Marshmallows and/or a can of sardines with nail holes punched in it works best for bait. SR
Beautiful powdered sunshine 🌞 your packing into that bunker there Cole. 💘 🚜 🌽 🐂 🌞 😓 🐕 🇺🇸 Cole you produce the most unique video shots of anyone online...better in fact, by far. Keep up the great work. Nice music added also.
I laughed so hard I spit out my coffee when Brian said “when you get to be a successful farmer” 😂 never heard of that! I have to have a full time job to make a hobby farm work. Great stuff. Love it!
Thanks for sharing today. Your relationship with your dad reminds me of my son and my peer’s and their kids. Tomorrow, my wife and I will be driving by Mount Vernon on our way to a close friends funeral in Iowa. Al was Brian’s age and MS took his life. Hug your loved ones, Cole.
We need more Jeff, I think there is a gold mine of knowledge and humor just waiting for us and you need to bring that out of him more, Cole. I bet Brian will agrree with me, too.
It is a real joy to see a father and son work together in such harmony (on camera), bet mama could provide camera footage when things get rough, reality🤣🤣🤣🤣.
You, your dad, and Jeff have such a wonderful relationship. Working together on a common goal. I envy the relationship you have with your dad, Cole. Be thankful for it, and appreciate what you have. I did not have a good relationship with my father, and I always encourage those who do, to be thankful for what they have. God bless all of you.
Brian and Cole and Jeff an amazing job that you all got done! Farming is never done, may God bless you all and keep you all safe and healthy! Brian the song of the day was not a repeat, you did good.
great video as always, you are making me miss working on the farm, im living in Orlando Florida now, I work in my yard as much as possible just to get that satisfaction you get from working with the land.
That's some great looking n expensive corncrack fir the critters. 👍 Do the critters smell it n get loud wanting some? I thought it might be akin to when my Dad would make popcorn, (ol' fashioned way on stovetop), and us kids smelling it n going a bit nuts waiting for it to be ready. LOL! 😁🙏💙🦘
A lot of cracked corn there, the amount is amazing, lots of costs there, but it's what us farmers do. I am real impressed with the work you do on the farm and what you do on the video, Cole, great aerials and back round music. Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing, have a great remainder of the week.🚜
Love the drone views of the work. They give a better idea of the scope of what you’re doing and where. Glad you’ve had good weather for filling the bunk. Thanks for another interesting video!
One thing that always crosses my mind when watching this channel is, what kind of equipment did Brian start out with when he first took over the operation? I know he mentioned a little about how the operation got started, but what kind and year of equipment did he start out with?
UGHH the special effects sometimes make me 🥴 dizzy. I have to look away. I have vertigo so that gets me. But I certainly appreciate all the time effort and hard ass work you all do. You will be Plowing Snow in no time at all. Harvest means Winter is closer then we think. Keep them coming Cole!!! #HAPPYHARVEST #SONNEFARMS
The new camera views are stellar. Very Hollywood-esque ha ha. From the view of the tarp opener on the other video to the inside of the wheel well on this one. You're destined for a Grammy....or a pat on the back....at one point.
Thanks for another great video. Interesting. Thanks for the great drone footage. Always enjoy that. Pretty good teamwork if you ask me. The three of you kept everything moving. The pit you finished looks great. One down and one to go. Great. Busy day keeping all that going. Yes I understand the need for so many tractors. It takes a group of tractors to keep all the equipment going. Good song of the day Brian. Guns and roses is good group with nice music. Thanks. About it for now. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
"Raise 'em right, if they stay right, you're a great Dad... If they don't stay right, you're still a great Dad, it's their own danged fault. I reckon I did okay with you!" (My Dad when my 1st son was born.) GOOD JOB BRAIN and MRS. BRAIN of course! UNCLE JEFF too! That Cole seems like he'll be alright, soon as he's hitched he'll get some more stayin' right schoolin". I guaruntee!
Cole is the best he just gets in there and does everything he was born into the farming and he will probably die in farming. Has nothing to do with getting married he won’t change he will be the same Cole and working along side his dad!!! Brian is a great father and is proud of Cole and all he does!! Maybe you didn’t have what Cole has and that’s called a family would never be Cole’s fault or his dads fault if Cole did something else!!!!
Imagine if a cow got loose and wandered over to that pit of cracked corn. They would think they won the cattle lottery! But on a serious note, if you're breaking the shear bolts, after the third one it may be time to look at whatever gearbox it's providing power to. May need oil/grease or whatever lube it requires. Or it could just be hot and increasing power is needed to turn. But my dad always told me once is an anomaly, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern.
I have had a 1-1 1/2” rock wedge in the auger and sheer the bolt most times. Exactly the same auger and my own fault for cleaning up the spills to well.
You are a terrific team, and your harvest season is well coordinated. Does Jeff have any kids to help him when you and Brian are unavailable? I noticed that you are using a new tarp; that seems fairly expensive. Can you get more than one year out of each tarp? Great educational commentary Cole, thanks for sharing your knowledge. Wishing you and your family a blessed week, gentle weather and restful evenings. Peace brothers
I so enjoy your videos at harvest time the best but all year I enjoy everything you post Thanks for all you do Cole, Dad,Jeff, and sometimes the women in your lives/ Ya I know they don't want to be in them.
You need to weld up some drive over ramps that fit around the auger. Dumped at a farm that had them a while back made it so much faster and easier on the guy on the ground. I’m hey just swung the auger out where they wanted it then used the forklift/skid steer and set the ramps over it. Never had to move it until the grain bin was full.
Song of the day, Jimmy Cracked Corn by Cole Sonne with back up by The Sonne Brothers Band. Thanks for the videos guys.

I'm always glad when I see people start harvesting crops so they can feed there cattle
Brian cracks me up when he’s breaking your chops. Cole with the comeback. Brian got the last word😂

Cole, the other day when you said that stuff for the corn was Gatorade I said damn that’s a dirty bucket to drink Gatorade in. 😂😂 My bad
17:55 Cole thought he was about to get chomped LOL
Lol. You could just hear Brain laughing as he showered you with corn!! Lol

Well done episode, less chit chat, more farm eqpt related gobble de gook. Very entertaining.
Thank you for answering the question about the "gatorade".
Montage music is amazing.
Dad ❤you. You make him successful in many ways. This farm is his life.
Cole works hard at improving this farm
💯 agree with dad 👍🏻

Good song!
You have to love Cole and Brian and Jeff fa fa. I am happy that they manage to put out 3 vlogs per week!
Jeff fa fa!!! Another Jeff Dunham & Peanut fan!!! I wonder how many people will get that?!

@@maxine7088 That was his problem NEVER yours! Be good & kind!
Its raining Corn Love the different camera spots like inside the dual wheel and Dads comment about being a successful farmer
I really hope your harvest is better than you think. You guys work so hard and deserve it.
Love the drone shots 😊
Good video Cole, Brian, Jeff, and Ellie.

Another great video. 👍👍👍. Lots of 💰 in that pit 😮
Love them black beefesus thanks ☺️

Hey, Cole, you ever place one of those cameras for a really cool shot, and then forget where you placed it?
Brian you couldn't be more right. There's a whole bunch of parents out there raising a bunch of worthless human beings.
Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky.
I agree. That is quite an investment in the corn pile. The cattle will enjoy it.
One thing that always crosses my mind when watching this channel is, what kind of equipment did Brian start out with when he first took over the operation? I know he mentioned a little about how the operation got started, but what kind and year of equipment did he start out with?
Thank goodness for wind direction

Cheers to everyone 👌🏻
Have you guys thought about using 2 grain carts and skipping the trucks and auger
no
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question in the video and makes so much sense. Thanks for feeding us too. As always good luck and God Bless.
We need an updated machinery tour

Great video as usual. Been a tough year weatherwise. Hope all goes as well as it can.
Great videos as always. We have been watching faithfully well up here at camp.
Thanks gents!
Good job guys
Keep up the good work
Cole, seriously, thanks for the explanation about the Gatorade. We used a trench silo in Oklahoma.for silage.
I felt the tire tread touch my hair.

Great video 👍😊👍
That's awesome snowblower Cole sonne..
Ellie, NO... Don't pee on the corn!! You're supposed to do that on snow. ❄❄❄🤪
Why? It is really good fertilizer. If only 20,000 people would do it you probably wouldn’t have to fertilize it LOL
if she snorts the corncaine does it count as snow then?
Hey Cole , that big day is drawing closer , are you going to give your loyal viewers a photo of your wedding party ? That's all we want !! Pls
Epic song choice❤
I so enjoy your videos at harvest time the best but all year I enjoy everything you post Thanks for all you do Cole, Dad,Jeff,

Hi Cole! Enjoyed the video, thanks!
Have you guys considered doing away with hole tires and get truck tire side walls. Heavy enough to hold tarp and never holds water and they lay flat
Some really nice corn
What a day! What a lovely day!
new corn grinder? broke to many shear bolts with the other one im guessing
How do you keep from getting over run with mice. That’s a lot of corn to have laying out there in the pit
Hope u got enough feed to get through the winter
Love your title.
Remember the days of struggling with that pump to spray that chemical on the corn now you have just a bucket and no more headaches!
Cole cracked corn & it made a pretty cool video ! 😃
Uncle Jeff cameo. 👍👍👍
Nice drone shots.
The sheer bolt issues is right here in the video
i love your informative channle.your humor and fun. when is the wedding and will you post it for all your fans?
Nov 4th, we hope to!
@@SonneFarms A date that is easy to remember each year?
Great video. Love the drone shots.
You should get the back saver corn auger really great only have to push a button and it’ll move
Excellent song of the day choice! Is that dedicated to Cole?
