Hello and thanks for your message. It does. In fact, some (very) good piano tuners do their job using 4ths and 5ths rather than tuning individual notes. A dim 4th reversed (flipped over) is an augmented 5th. A major 3rd reversed is a minor 6th. A perfect 8ve reversed is a unison. I use this technique only for 6ths and 7ths because we can easily remember (or count) the other intervals. I hope this answers your question. 🌷😊🎶
