@@rockon8174your comment is dumb. There isn’t anything more pretentious than Eric July’s release of an 8 page art book of original and official Character designs. Charging $75 plus shipping is extra pretentious. You obviously don’t know what the meaning of the word pretentious is. That said, Eric’s contributed the writing to the book and that is written at a third grade level. @@monotech20.14 nobody knew what it was going to be before the first book came out. The more I learn about Eric, the more I'm convinced he wants to be a Mary Sue. He wants to believe everything he does and says is brilliant and correct and all his problems in life just stem from not being able to get the idiots around him to understand his genius. If only people weren't so stupid, jealous, and hate filled, they could understand that Eric is a perfect creature that never makes mistakes or needs improvement in any way.

His "character" and comic world reminds me of every wannabe I knew in school who had aspirations to being a mangaka or video game designer who had absolutely zero talent
$100 for 7 pages. You can buy multiple REAL artbooks for that price. And those books won't be filled designs that look like they were rejected from Rob Liefeld's X-Force sketchbooks from 89.
Hating on something that's worth the hate without looking like a villainous jackass takes apparent skills. If ur trying to get his consumers, supporters, and fans to see it from ur perspective, I think ur going about it wrong in these videos.

No wonder Eric Weathers put in his resignation and signed exclusively with Ethan's All Caps Comics (although completely free to work for anyone in CG). It's got to be an embarrassment for Eric Weathers as a respected professional to have his name on the front of this embarrassment of an "art book" or anything else related to the Rippaverse. Eric July’s writing sounds like a book report written by a first grader that waited until the last day to write it.
Goes to show, the general audience will buy that rather than pretentious crap!!! 😗
That's not fair. He's at least at a 2nd grade level.

A 1st grader could do better.
If you can believe it, EJ's writing on his cards is worse than this book. It's incredible.
Not just worse, much worse.

In other words, he sees himself as the protagonist of an Ayn Rand novel.
Did Eric drop out of school?
Dropped out of school like his mom dropped him as a baby.
He probably quit school thinking he was too smart to be wasting his time getting that D+ average
It was $75 for 8 pages
Pretty expensive toilet paper
