- Stunt Man Blacksheep Bobcat operator, Jake Hatch sets a record in his Bobcat skidsteer Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Snowflake Pioneer Day Rodeo held at the Taylor Rodeo Grounds. Defying stunt had thousands marvel at his ability to go up and over the rail doing a front wheelie without touching his back wheels or front end bucket. Truly a challenging and never seen before stunt. He has skillfully mastered the operation of a Bobcat skidsteer. Now known as the Blacksheep Bobcat Sensation! Stay tuned for future events and performances.
I've got thousands of hours on one of these, and this guy is really good, an incredable sense of balance
This just popped up on my feed! My dad has owned 8 Bobcats since his first in 1970....I thought he was good, (well, he is)!, But this guy is fantastic! He's got the feel of his machine down pat! BTW, my dad still runs his daily...he's going to be 85 soon! Lol.
This was beyond difficult. Any naysayers need to sing their skepticism somewhere else....well done sir!!
Just finished watching safety videos on what not to do in a bobcat, he did all of it haha
no it takes more then just that to be able to dothat
GypTits are you joking bobcats are made to things like this
Don't tread on me They are made for alot of things, tricks are definitely possible. But most engines are not designed to keep oil pressure when continuously run at extreme angles. Temporarily yes. And these angles are more extreme than the angles during commercial construction use.
@@romansten9 it’s possible that he modified the engine to allow him to do these tricks without worrying about the stress he’d be putting on the system.
I operated one for 10 years, what this guys doing is unbelievable!
Yeah, oil starvation. Too steep of an angle for too Long
@@mrfingers4737 BS. you clearly have no clue how these work. That isnt going to be a problem at all.
@@jordaneimer2873 I have a real good idea how engines work. I think you're the guy that clearly doesn't understand.
@@mrfingers4737 It's not like he's doing this on Sunday and taking it back to the job site Monday. It was set up specifically for what it's doing. Maybe it's got a dry sump.
That was such a cool and refreshing video. Good content, awesome song, stunts times perfect with the song, massive operator talent, and the announcer didn't make me want to punch him!!! Thanks for posting.
ive been on a job with this talented guy and i know first hand he is real. nothing fake. or modified. hes 100 percent real and a good guy to.whats up Jake!!! RUDD
Well it's blatantly obvious who has never driven one of these, anyone saying this is easy or that a wheelie is easy. It LOOKS easy because he's that good.
There's no rear counter weight and that machine is stripped down to bare necessities. It still takes some skill but that isn't your average skid loader.
@@yougonnaeatthat9889 Still very impressive. Everything stunt related has been modified to perform said stunts. Can't even imagine how many hours dude spent practicing
I used to drive one of those, and I can tell you; that is some incredible driving! That fellow is good! Wow!
Came from Heavy D to this video. Awesome skills!
I had no idea, that could be done !!!???? Very fun & cool video, well done
I was born in S. Idaho and raised on a rather large ranch/farm until I graduated HS. I was driving Steiger tractors, Gleaner Combines, Swathers, Harrowbeds, backhoes, bulldozers and bobcats from about 12. As an older adult, I can’t rationalize the faith my dad and grandfather had in me at that age to be responsible in operating ‘very’ expensive equipment. After years of doing this…he better be damn good at it. Which he is, very good! 👍🤙🤙🤙
Been running big equip farming since 6 yr old pulling tractor w fold out disc with long fold out packer behind that at 7-8 yr old too ....we the real ones
My old man had me driving the tractor at around 6 too, couldn't press the clutch and reach the shifter at the same time so he would put in gear and jump out. Had a few screw ups but he never got mad, just expected me to fix them. The hired men created him way more headaches.
@@jmanlinc awesome. I did get our old farm truck stuck in one of our ditches ad messed up some siphon tubes. Didn’t get murdered. But, very scary driving a harvester as a young kid with a big assed diesel truck next to you up and down the rows. Made me into a hard worker though. Loved swathing hay, back then our swather only had like an 16’ header. One night, ran a skunk through the reel and out the back. Had to get our tract mounted sprayer and fill it with tomato juice and spray the shit out of it. That was worse than any CS chamber in the military. 🫡
I spent time on the Snake R., family ranch by Bruneau. Cheers. Was just seeing research regarding teenagers, they can pick up new skills like operating equipment almost instantly, or bad habits like smoking get hard wired in the brain, too
I drive a skid steer almost every day for over 10 years ,I could not even come close to be able to drive a like that , that is some bad ass driving , that is way harder than he's making look. don't listen to the haters , they are just jealous
I'm 49 years old and have been driving a skid steer since I was a young boy and what he is doing there is very difficult and very dangerous. Props to the driver of that skid steer. I can spin a skid steer around on one tire and can load it in the back of a truck with no ramps, but the stunts he is doing is amazing. As far as I know he is the only one able to perform those death defying feats.
I used to be able to to drive wheelie with tree root balls on the forks across our tree nursery but wow this dude has got some crazy skills.
Seriously Amazing! Nice job Jake!
This guy is my hero. Those skills are no joke.
I've done a front wheelie in a bobcat before, but then I did have bucket forks on and about 1 tonne of wood off the end of the bucket.
A commercial aircraft pilot once told me that people that are skilled with a drum kit do well with flying an airplane. I would think the same applies to a Bobcat. It's that coordination of simultaneously using hands and feet. Cool skill. It'd be nice to be lucky enough to be able to put in the hours of practice.
FakeMoonRocks I did a driveway for an aircraft commercial pilot and he said that exactly regarding bobcats
Ironically, I do both so thats accurate. The bobcat pays for the helicopter lol
props for this great operator I'm 16 and have been using bobcat loaders since I was 3
Max wheelhorse4life really dude,3
This is a real Bobcat, not a Tonka Toy.
Wonderful
Thanks for the info 😎 great video
WOW AMAZING SKILLS MAN!
I don't think a lot of people talking crap know exactly how difficult that is.
This a heavily customize bobcat, steering and throttle ..and also balance perfectly with a MASTER operator at the control.. OH! YES OUTSTANDING.👍
lmao the music truly makes this touching.
Awesome Brother Well done
Commentator. Right there, right there, right there. Right there!
takes a lot of precision and skill you try to do that
THAT’S talent..and poise.
Wow great skills nice to see it not just another big talker
I can't believe I just watched a bobcat ballerina.
Worn a couple of these out. This guy rules..
I'M GLAD i WAS ABLE TO TEACH HIM TO DO THAT!
I love the edm music coupled with commentator
This guy is good
Is this possible on a stock bobcat or are modifications necessary?
Stock
magnificently.....greate....applause...
Holy fucking shit, man. I don't even know how I ended up here. The internet is in my brain and on auto-pilot. Game over, man.
If you look up, going ham on a bobcat, it may bring you here.
wow wow wow amazing i would pay anything too goo see this live
this is amazing it is not easy just to drive one.
well done! Takes alot of machine hours to accomplish that!
This video introduced me to music of Florence and the [skidsteer] Machine.
the announcer is so southern country
operator - *does anything
announcer - "Thats how you (whatever the operator did) right there"
i guess this proves kubotas can be run at 45deg angles for extended periods and maintain lubrication lol
Bobcat?
Until this year (I think) bobcat has run kubota engines in them
fishinhunter12391 ahh I see.
Is that bucket built extra heavy for this exhibition stuff?
Ba ba bobcat, have you any balance?
Yes sir yes sir, 2 wheeled wheelies
1st song name?
Florence And The Machine - Cosmic Love
Skills
Gotta love that redneck country,,,,, AMERCA !
Yah Boss!! Good moves!
3:30 Deadmau5 - Ghosts N Stuff (Nero Remix)
Definitely easier in those little baby bobcats to stunt, but this is elite operating at its finest. The cat walk trailer load can be done, but fuck ever trying the ramp I wouldn’t dare
this has to bee to most american thing ever
When your good ,,your good.
1 - The XX - Intro
this is actually a old world record the new world record was set on 7/2/16 and he went 85.5 feet on a wielly.
The announcer...Rodeo Reed?
There’s a boss somewhere like: I knew that sumbitch was screwing around on the clock.
Toys for the big boys , hehehe 😜
Song name?
S130 sales after this. 📈
Anybody know what that song is called? And damn what a skilled operator
Ghosts n stuff by deadmau5
I was SHOCKED when he didn't do it backwards. :(
Wow! 👍🏻
Hmmm.... I wonder how you even know you have this skill? Lol... very cool
He is awsome im so soprised no skid makers want him in one of their macheans you think they all would be sending him a skid to show capabilities
He is a master of the masters Bobcat operator!
What would have made this event over the top awesome is this;
1. Night time and a light show.
2. Have the announcer keep his mouth shut during his performance.
3. Instead of that new age music crap, play Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb"!
I'm guessing not much of a counterweight on the back of that machine...
A lot of youngsters on farms are very smooth operators... teenagers pick up new skills instantly, and if you have a skiddie and work to do, gotta have some fun. Just not many spend 100's of hours trying dumb stunts like this lol
Muito bom 😊😊😊
full well
Shit I thought I knew that first song that played anybody know what it's called
MrJohnboy1110 cosmic love maybe and the other one is I think ghost n stuff
I didn't see either of those animals.
Lol that tiny bobcat on that overkill of a trailer
show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This operator is certainly talented but the amazing talent here is the mechanic(s) that set that thing up!
I can hear my old boss now; "hey boy! Quit faith bootin' around an get you @$$ back to work!" 😂
He's highly modified that and the tires aren't the usual tires
Okay let's see you do it pal
Mike Cowan good. It means he has intelligence.
haters gonna hate
lets see you get out there and do a wheelie in a skid steer then
alot of stick time here ,
and those kids on the dirtbike thinks theyare cool
OMFG
song name ? someone ?
Cosmic love. Florence and the machine
And ghosts n stuff by dead mou5e (nero remix)
👍🏆🇱🇷
lepszy ode mnie ... O.o :)
5+
Not a toy, and not safe work practice.
i have my dad bobcat
and my from is greece
That must be modified somehow to go that long. lol
Nope. I work with him occasionally. He's just that good
I would love to see him in person. Impressive as hell!
skidam kapu vozacu :)
The announcer is reed flake
Unimpressed
AMERICA BITCHES!
I like the part where he... does a wheelie...again.
Maybe next year, he'll drive a forklift....and do a wheelie ...for 8.5 minutes.
construction site version of figure skating..... get back to work Larry!
Ever hear of a Segway? One can easily incorporate that technology into the Bobcat (lots of room in that box body) and then a 10 year old could do that.
Segways use a gyroscope to maintain control. Completely worthless in a working machine that doesn’t require balance. This is a stock machine, not a modified model for shows.
Special effects smoke and mirrors is all this is. LOL
Hello,….mr george … how much u pay for the new guy……20$ no thats too littlle hes a good operater
He's a troll, just check his other comments.
