You should listen to his concerts, very different and also amazing. He does wear ear monitors during his concerts that last more than three hours. What is interesting is that even though the monitors help singers they are not perfect and you can see Dimash pulling them out and singing without them. I prefer his concerts than the videos everyone is watching of Dimash. He improvises a lot in his concerts and is much more… wild, emotional, funny. Tough to describe. Thanks for your reaction😊

My point of view, Part of Dimash's success is obviously his talent, yeeears of HARD study, focus and total Dedication. My opinion, another good part of his success is his messages, his kindness And...his courage in "surfing" both masculine and feminine energies (yes ENERGY, without gender, it's In yang that EVERY human being has), ...without fear of opinions or judgment, being totally faithful to his own intuition and sensitivity. That makes an artist great, admirable. That's beautiful in a man and often magnetic. I mean it's about human essence, no matter your job. When he sings he is just a soul expressing emotion. Thanks for playing Dimash for all of us Dears, not too many reactors play his music, it seems to be all mainstream Kpop etc ... Dimash isn't beholden to any money grubbing commercial companies so isn't known much in the west ... we choose to support channels who help get him to a wider audience ... At his concerts, Dimash wears headphones because often the band of musicians is placed on both sides of the stage. Of course, then the drums and guitars and every other instrument play loudly. The sound must be combined and hit the singer's ear. However, many times the in-ear monitors failed and Dimash sang anyway. He did not stop the performance, he just sang and waited for repair. You want CULTURE?? 👉This was a quieter song until the end- in Adai+Daididau from his Bastau concert, he’s on a massive stage & had at least 100 kazakh musicians- just phenomenal. You can see in beginning his in ear isn’t working in one ear, while the music & background noise is MUCH higher. It’s such an amazing performance. also special because this was his 1st huge concert in his homeland, where tens of thousands of his Dears came from all over the world. It’s very important to him to share his culture with the world. So him playing this traditional Kazakh song for the world was very emotional for him & the audience.
Dimash is pure talent, pure vocal genius. His voice should be declared World Heritage. Thank you for appreciating his art. All the best.

Hey Dears! ❤ You gave me more Dimash! You guys are the best and this is my favorite performance of "Love Is Like a Dream", so thanks for doing it! Yes, Dimash does have absolute pitch but he often wears his branded in-ears so he can hear the band. I think in this performance he was so near the piano, the primary piece of accompaniment, plus this is a song he usually performs the same way each time so it is built into his muscle memory. I'm sure both of those things played into not needing his in-ears.
Regarding vibrato, I think people don't understand that it actually takes more control and effort to sing the way he does WITHOUT vibrato! His diaphragm has to do much more work and his lungs have to control the release of air more evenly when he doesn't use vibrato, which is why his use of vibrato is so beautiful; it's perfectly placed exactly when and where he wants it.

Dimash started his official training at 5. The music teacher used the piano to test his pitch and he was perfect. He then informed her that the piano was off. He was correct. The pianist in the video was from the Sinful Passion video who stood up at the end. That was his first hearing him sing. He came out of retirement as a successful, Russian, billionaire composer to work exclusively with Dimash
He does have perfect pitch! He has studied classical and pop music (some 20 years of it). He is definitely the smoothest dude right now impeccable taste in clothes. He also likes to "ham it up" as Freddie, the other masterful performer once said. At the conservatory they receive drama lessons, which are needed for opera characters. I love your reactions and appreciation for this great, great young full-blooded Kazakh. His mission is exactly that, to bring different cultures, religions and peoples together for peace. HE HAS PERFECT PITCH age 5 his granny got him tested which is why they put him into music school and he was the youngest in his class because they took advantage of dimash youth making him as trained and early exposure to music as possible he would watch his parents perform on stages and bow with them so he was all around influence from every facet with music to be this good

Great reaction and commentary thanks guys. Dimash has perfect pitch. He’s been training vocally and musically since he was 5 years old. He still trains with vocal coaches or self trains for at least three hours every day. Occasionally, in concert, there are technical difficulties or his in-ear monitors malfunction and he’ll take the monitors out mid-performance - he still manages to sing with perfect intonation and rhythm. Sometimes he’ll also remove one of the in-ear monitors before he’s going to belt! He’s incredible.
FYI, the pianist in the video, Igor Krutoy, is the composer of this song song. If you see Igor and Dimash together then Igor has composed the song. Their collaborations are must watch, eg, Ave Maria, which you’ve already reacted to. to answer your question; yes, Dimash still has vocal coaches that he engages with to make sure that he is singing right...he has been training his voice since he was 5 yrs old but he is not the type of singer to rest on his laurels...he allots 3-4 hours a day for training...he is his own worst critic...if he feels that a song was not sung a 100%, he'll go & try to do it a different way which also a reason why he'll never sing a song the same way 2x...he'll embellish it & bring to a whole new level...for him it's all about the audience & how they will like/love his performance...thank you for this reaction video...MABUHAY! from a Philippine Dear...💜💜💜💛💛💛💙💙💙

Yes... He does have a perfect pitch which was discovered when he was 5 or 6 years old. Thank you.
He does have perfect pitch. A music teacher discovered that when he was only 4 or 5 and told his parents, both musician. He was already playing piano at that age, too, and was the youngest (at 5) to enter the prestigious music school nearby.
Dimash has been found to have absolute pitch, sometimes informally referred to as perfect pitch.
From 1 to 5 people per 10,000 have absolute pitch, according to estimates. Perfect pitch occurs in musicians at higher rates, from less than 1 percent up to 11 percent, according to some studies. It runs in families, suggesting a genetic link, (both of his parents are musicians/singers, his mother being a lyric soprano) and occurs most often in people who had musical training before age 6. (Dimash began his training at the age of 5).
His professional training is in opera as well as contemporary and a musical theater.

He trains with a vocal teacher, 3 hrs a day everyday. He has 2 masters in music and is working on a doctrine. He has been working on his vocals since he was 5 yrs old. When touring he has a vocal teacher wherever he is. He says, his voice is an instrument that he works on constantly.
