I think this series is great, because it breaks with the archetypes, that is to say that the characters that should be "good" or "bad" are not, each one has their own story in which they play the role of good and bad at the same time, which humanizes the characters, because in real life nobody is perfect.

Actually, it breaks the archetype by dumping the jealous-women-fighting-over-a-man story for a story of alliance between the two women. The theme of the good/bad ambiguity is quite common.

Actually no. Your Throne is Sam's second work. She has worked on a first webtoon in 2018 during the Naver Original Competition but didn't win. She came back nearly 2 years later and won.

“Is it as dramatic as the trailer?” YES, and it’s so good. I would go ahead and read it for yourself before anyone spoils you on what happens. This is about drama, political games, and the story is focused around two main female characters.
I dropped the series for more chapters to be released . It felt more like the Jealous woman after a innocent girl vibe at start. It showed Medea to be the villain at first but everything changed . It is political thriller story under that sweet,shiny and gorgeous artstyle . We got expansion on Medea's parents , Pysche's parents , Prince , etc . So to put it simply it is a morally grey vs grey conflict . Because there is some goodness in prince too. The story changes perspective fluently . Also love the 2 MCs .

Idk why but the trailer made it seem a little overly dramatic and a cliche story but it's definitely NOT. It's not about romance, it's a fantasy-revenge webtoon.. This is the best historical-fantasy theme webtoon. A lot of plot twists too. Medea is the coolest female protagonist ever. I've been reading lots of webtoons these past years and I can tell she's on another level. Smart, pretty, strong both physically and mentally and good at fighting. Like there's literally nothing to dislike abt her decisions in the story, unlike other protagonists on other stories/webtoons (both male and female protagonists). All the others MCs always have this 'why are u being stupid' phase on their stories but Medea herself is perfection and i don't accept objections.
And Psyche too! In my eyes, there are 2 MCs, not one. And I love both of their characters and their development

This webtoon is seriously so good. It has two strong female leads who are strong in their own ways but also have their own flaws. The two FLs learn from each other by supporting one another and working together to defeat their common enemy.
The main antagonist is also one of the best antagonists in manhwa. The antagonist is smart, manipulative, calculating and can fight head to head against the main FL. He doesn't just exist to make the FLs look good; he is an *actual threat* which makes the story so suspenseful and unpredictable.
This story also shows the perspectives of different characters which makes them more complex. None of them are purely good or evil; they are simply humans who have their own desires and motivations. Character developments are also handled well and aren't rushed. This is not a story where someone would just suddenly become confident and/or smart after years of trauma.
If you want a story with complex characters, women supporting women, political drama, no/minimal romance, calculative morally grey characters, well-written plot that isn't rushed, and big brain type of story then this is the manhwa for you.

tbh this trailer doesn't do it justice. you will LOVE medea. she is no ordinary MC, TRUST ME, SHE'S SO FREAKING COOL
if you're still wondering whether or not you want to read this manhwa, then I recommend you to just do. this one filled with thrills and it got you really curious what would happen in the next chapter since there are twist here and there. both heroines are strong, personally likeable since you couldn't hate them whatsoever. the villain is so cunning and manipulative, and the plotline is kinda heavy but you'd understand since the storytelling is good.

This series probably makes my top 10 webtoons list. It's amazing and well thought out. It was adapted from a Korean comic called if I could be you just for a day, sometimes known as I want to be you just for a day. If you like plot twists and theorizing on the future romances and betrayals you'll definitely enjoy this webtoon!

one of the best stories i've ever read. I was expecting romance, but boy I was wrong. This story really made me have high expectations for other female leads I'll read in the future. I swear this is too good to pass on. The female lead is strong such is psyche, they're not the type who'll be dumb and petty for the throne of the crown prince instead it'll be their way of realizing things. Plot twists are a must here so I've kind of predicted twists while readings. The plot twist might be hard for people to realize tho but I kind of ship medeia and psyche
That's why I love this manhwa, it's no romance,just two girls making their way for themselves, honestly badass

The plot is so good and so are the character's. I don't think I've ever read anything like this one. This absolutely deserves an animation adaptation over than anything else. It's such a refreshing story and I hope more people can give it a chance.

Trust me this is the best the perfect webcomic in the world for me. I started reading webcomic from this month. I usually finish 80-100+ chapters comic in few hours to 3-4 days but YOUR THRONE is unbelievably took more than week to finish 110+ chapters for me. The length of each chapter is satisfying. THE ART, THE CHARACTERS, THE LITTLE DETAILS,THE STORY LINE EVERYTHING IS PERFECT AND COOL. EVERY CHARACTER I MEAN EVERYONE IN THIS WEBCOMIC IS ATTRACTIVE, SMART INTELLIGENT CUNNING, STRONG IN THEIR OWN WAY NO MATTER IF IT'S MAIN CHARACTER OR VILLAIN OR SIDE CHARACTER. YOU CAN NOT HELP BUT PRAISE FOR EVEN VILLAIN. EVERY CHARACTER IS SO CHALLENGING. you can't imagine what will come next. SO IN SHORT THIS STORY IS PERFECT

And his wife was named psyche...
And in a myth psyche couldnt look at cupid since he told her not to and so she was afraid that he was a monster. One day she did and he turned out to be tol handsome and so his motjer, Aphrodite punished her. However, cupid has been known to be a monster, making people fall in love to those who dont like them back...

It’s my favorite WEBTOON! It’s unhealthy the number of times I reread the chapters just for the sake of it😆
one of the moments where my heart almost dropped was when the prince found out the letter medea sent while in psyche's body to helio(i won't spoil it more)..oof! and many such scenes where my heartbeat goes intense (added to your throne bgm i play in backdrop while reading)
webtoons doesn't get my heart racing that much BUT (spoiler) when psyche was stabbed,then she opened her eyes that made my heart drop😭
People thinking this is romance.. NO NOT AT ALL!!!!!!!.... This is totally thrill, fantasy, adventure, action genre and there are hell no. Of mysteries.. And you can never just never predict wht next is going to happen

Spoiler: They actually broke their friendship and become enemies because of Eros and becoming the crown princess. And because they switched bodies, they figured out what both of them have been gone through, and so both of them managed to grow back their friendship and plan to get rid of Eros with a help of Helio (I think?).

I've been reading this since the start and I still get goosebumps from the trailer, I absolutely adore this series and how unpredictable it is, the plot and just characters and how they develop. Not forgetting how absolutely GORGEOUS the art is??? Like how??? I'm in love with this Webtoon, I totally recommend it to whoever here hasn't checked it out! One of my all time favourite reads

I’m already imagining this in a live-action and anime version, and it hits my feelings in every possible way.
I can confirm that anyone who isn’t reading this webtoon is seriously missing out. It’s relatively new but it’s already one of the best series I’ve read. Give it a chance if you haven’t because I’m almost sure you won’t regret it!

Plot twist: eros loves medea
this is one of those webtoons where I'm legitimately afraid of the villain. His character develops along with MC but not in a way you like, more like sh*t he's caught on and your in the edge of your seat because you know he's smart and ruthless with enough charm, power and position to play with them and crush them if they are not careful.

sorry but medea (the purple haired girl) is nowhere near as vulnerable and empathetic as how they portray her in this trailer, she's so freaking smart and strong and ... down right *manipulative* (very minor spoiler, it's just her personality) trust me when i say you'll never be able to predict her next move.
In Greek Mythology, Eros and Psyche is the end game but
I LOVE how all four of them are like evil, wicked and sly. Even more for the CP since he's evil 'just because' instead of a tragic backstory or sth. Talk about hot.
LMAOO I agree, every time I try to talk about Eros so many ppl question me 😭 everyone in this Webtoon isn’t good nor bad, it shows how imperfect we all r and that humans aren’t all righteous. I actually think Eros does have a backstory, he was so innocent as a child. And I believe he has humanity in him, limits to his cruelty. I don’t think he’s necessarily an obstacle for the girls to kill off, he’s a character shown in the cover art who’s beside Medea, Helio, and Psyche. He actually has class (unlike Medea’s dad). I think if Medea was born a guy, she’d be Eros. It’s true that he’s a murderer (all of them r), but he never abused psyche, only psychological manipulation since he was gonna kill her from the get-go. Sorry if u disagree

I've been reading this webtoon ever since the first 3 episodes are out and I read it mainly because of Lady Medea, she's my QUEEN and no one can change that💜 I love powerful, strong and brave QUEENS because I want to be like them, where no on can control me or slave me.
I clicked as soon as I saw the notification I really love this webtoon!
Silence for all the people who thought that this is just a cliche ‘switching bodies’ plot
when I first read the first chapter a while back I actually didn't like it, I thought it's gonna be like one of those webcomics that have the most obnoxious main character BUT OH BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!!! I love the art, the story the characters, just everything.... honestly I'm mad at myself for overlooking this webtoon for this long 😅
