@@Chris-jm2gx I basically only play dota now. I'm just not brainwashed, unlike most of the dota community. Elsewhere, people talked about how he had 60 cs at 14 minutes, which is considered unacceptable at basically all but the absolute worst levels of play in league. It's legitimately horrendous - and this is after he said "last hitting is so easy" or something. Anything below 100 is pretty bad, below 80 makes me think you're new to the game or you're legitimately a terrible player.

LOL got no deny creep mechanic.. only last hit
In League, you can also deny a creep from your enemy by zoning and harassing them while your creep dies, but not like in dota where you can last hit your own creep.

Happened to me before.. playing Tahm Kench, a tank support.. carrying the game in support role, and League players was so amazed they think my rank is high, but I was a newbie in League.. my rank is gold, thats the equivalent of Crusader/Archon.. they were so shocked im playing in such a high level even when my rank is low... Well thats dota for you.. and my dota rank wasnt even that high.. my highest is Legend 1, almost got to Ancient but was too busy to do so.. they think I was way too good yet my dota rank is just above average..
I played with my friends in LoL is as well and they were so amazed with my mechanics saying I'm a veteran in league. I only reached legend 3/4 in dota until a lose streak destroyed me lol

i playing dota for 7k hours and try mobile legend, i got mythic rank on first month xD, after that i try league for first time and i got 20+ win streak. dota is on different level

i have 12k hours on dota and try league of legends while i am black out drunk playing with one hand and i reach challenger in under 25 minutes. dota is on a different level

Last hitting in League depends solely on how much you are getting bullied in lane, it is impossible to miss the last hit but if you can't reach the creep wave due to harass you ain't getting many, while in dota you have to watch out for dennies from two heroes on sidelane and harass.
if your opponents is very good on denying creeps you would lvl gap exp and gold which is a hell of time on laning stage or phase
Don’t forget you can get camped or roamed on by support.then you get snowballed on. Being good in a 1v1 on a new account does not equate to being good.

The biggest diff between the 2 is that dota doesnt have high apm gameplay, so knowledge is more powerful than skill. So high level league will wreck high lvl dota.

Tbh if you don’t play league it’s hard to understand why less possible manipulation of a wave can be just as interesting - you have to work around the existing constraints to gain an advantage, use your body to deny, contest the cs by attacking them when they try to go for it rather than attacking it before them, prevent them from getting in range, use the autoattack animation to land a skillshot. Then there’s the macro aspect, where if the enemy can’t fight you, you can just keep the wave in front of your tower forever very very very easily. It’s a much more delicate balance in league that is very punishing if done wrong, especially given that you can’t just go pull or jungle if you mess it up. There’s a ton of macro concepts of how you stack waves to push under their tower to allow you to recall and lose nothing, ways to set up tower dives that use level timings/set up for your jungle, ways to keep yourself safe from those tactics on the other side. There’s just a bunch of ways to abuse creep waves that just do not exist in Dota in the same way. Anyone who’s played both games at any semblance of a reasonable level knows what I’m talking about (like emerald+ and ancient+, personally I was diamond 1 which is more like master 150 LP in today’s league, and 5.2k in Dota)
If pos 1 / pos 2 on any dota pro team plays League, Faker would be just another LOL player.

I watched a tsm video with 3 league pros Vs 5 Dota2 pros in a league lobby. I wished they made 1 for Dota 2 where they do the same 3v5.
I think what makes it boring is they still pick normal champions for each role/lane. Meanwhile if they really makes it 3v5 in Dota these pro will just troll pick.
By this way we could measure the people/players and their talent rather than watching the animated character doing their things because they created to do so. There is massive differences between "you good" vs "your champ/hero good".
I think the reasons OpenAI interested investing in DotA is because this game is heavily on strategic & coordinations game rather than LoL which is only player input based game.

the hardest mechanics in dota is not the complex heroes like meepo invo, its the pulling aggro, wave controlling, animation cancelling, turn rate, LoL players are gonna have a seizure
Not really i been playing dota over Christmas in unranked vs players with 10k, 4k, 8k games and beat them sometimes. The biggest difference between dota and league is the laning phase and farming in league you must lane and hold your 1v1 or 2v2. In dota you can just say fuck it and go jungle ideally you lane and jungle. The amount of people who just farm for 40 minutes in jungle in dota is insane there is no skill in that.

The biggest different in lol and dota is that in dota, the core of the game is strat, from how you drafting, what pace you gonna play, early game or late gane strat, what is your way to play like pushing, poking, diving, ganking, taunting. LOL on the other hand, it more like hack and slash where who has fast hand and has precise combo, gonna win a fight and will win the game if not throwing.

As a Dota veteran I got invited to play LoL with some friends from work. My first game ever I pick Zilean because he's in the free rotation, the enemy also picks Zilean (the guy was level 30 gold or whatever and had a ton of points on the champ) so we have a ADC + Zilean vs ADC + Zilean matchup in the bot lane. I DESTROYED the opposing Zilean.
Top Lane in DOta is like who is the better Tarzan, Top Lane in LOL is like being an extra actor who is trying to be the main mc in LOST series

Well I played some games league with some of my friends couple months ago.Bruv I played lux legit had a score 31-7 as support and I solo carried them all and I was 6 slotted.The brain damage the mid and top got when they saw me ganging them bruv they went mad

I play dota 1 for the last 3 years and when i play LOL i reach diamond in 1 season. Then i stop playing lol in season 5 and played dota 2 in 2017, i got ancient in 2018. Then i got back to league in 2019 i only reach platinum. After a year i got back at dota 2 again, first 2 game is hard, i need to adjust. But after that it was all good, peak 2018. Dota 2 is all about mechanics, when you know the mechanics you can come back anytime while LoL is all about reflex, speccialy in higher rank. I know this because i notice that the older i got, my hand doesnt listen to my mind anymore just like the good old days.

Dota is more difficult to last hit because of agro, positioning, decision making on denying or last hitting, and wave manipulation. Lol is just wave manipulation, positioning, and last hitting

Meanwhile in dota, last hit enemy creep was the only option to help you stay in lane in early game plus dota2 had denied mechanics that make last hit creep more harder, now combine it with what you say like "freezing lane". Which one more harder? Lol or dota2?

Lol has bush dota has complex fog. Lol has flash dota has tp scrolls and buyback. Lol is more fast paced with skillshots dota is more clicky and farm oriented. I don't think one is harder than the other and I played both for more than 10 years. You can't judge if all u have is 1 game to your belt. Lol has way more players worldwide for many reasons

Dota has way more APM required nowadays, with active neutral and regular items being required for most heros already means that most champions end up with 8-9 buttons if not more that you need to actively use in fights. Alongside all the creep mechanics just being way more in depth in dota. LoL has freezing? dota has freezing, and tower aggro mangagement, and denies, and creep aggro, and creep pulling. Plus dening the enemy from doing any of these actions.
League is a noob ass game but fun though. Too cartoony
