I am so on board with this new series' concept! James A. Janisse's channel "Dead Meat" is what officially got me interested in horror films. Until then, the movies I watched from the genre were far and few in between. So in the past year, I've been experiencing well-known classics for the first time (including "The Thing" and "Halloween"). With that said, I never watched Eli Roth's films, since I wasn't into his style of filmmaking before. I admire him for making "The House with the Clock in its Walls", because I love gothic themes especially in child-suitable material (plus Jack Black and Cate Blanchett are amazing, and seem they make an unlikely though absolutely great on-screen pair). I love hearing Roth's reasoning behind doing a film so drastically different from what he's done in the past. I haven't seen the film yet, but I really hope I catch it before it leaves theaters.

I have so many things i wanna watch a nightmare on elm street, alien, predator, friday the 13th, the thing. There are so many good horror movies but sadly the sequels are mostly meh
That may be true but since ive watched dead meat for a while and i saw the sequels of halloween and a nightmare on elmstreet on his channel and i dont think that i would recommend them xD . But ofc there are good sequels. As cryptTV said earlier i good a buttload to catch up on ;)
Eli was talking about Amblin and how they made the scary kids films. Amblin produced my favorite film of all time, Who Framed Roger Rabbit!, which is quite the dark children’s film. Some don’t even call it a kids film. Anyways I just liked how he spoke what I was thinking when I saw the trailer for the house with the clock in it’s wall.
OH OOOOHHHHHHHHH! This is any horror fan’s dream. Being able to meet and talk horror creators and get into their heads. It’s really cool to see James living the Dream. XD I’m really excited to see The House with a Clock. This interview just made me even more HYPE!
