Omg!! You are speaking to me!!! There was something I was believing was from God for years, having faith, trusting the process, only to find out in the last few weeks of last year I’ve been wrong about it this whole time. This WHOLE. TIME! Whew!! The way I felt defeated and just embarrassed and frustrated and all the things?! This, being wrong, was something I tried to avoid over the years by checking my motives, keeping it at the feet of God…only to have to let it go and accept this isn’t God’s will for me. It’s been hard. I too was boohoo crying on the 1st. And remember thinking man, I can’t believe that on the first day of the year I’m crying in exhaustion and defeat like this! Lol so I feel you. Every day I’m trying my best to truly accept and believe that my God didn’t allow all of this for my harm, that abundant goodness will come out of all of this. It’s hard to accept being incorrect or things not turning out how you expected. But I must believe that even tho it’s not ending how I wanted or expected, and tho the testimony won’t be what I thought it’d be for the last 6 years, goodness WILL come from this, God WILL get the glory from my life, that I AM LOVED by God, and that truth, no matter how painful, is needed for me to genuinely be free! And if I have been believing a lie this whole time, accepting the truth, as painful as it is, is the only way forward to true freedom ❤❤❤
God allowed Jesus to die for a greater purpose. There was no avoiding His cross. And He for real died. Sometimes there’s no way to avoid the cross we are to bear, but it is for the ultimate benefit for so many after us..! God allowing us to go through this disappointment, heartbreak, losses, is only setting up greater. Not just for us, but every soul we are connected to and will be coming up after us!! Thanks for sharing that little snippet…it made me feel less alone in what I’m currently going through. Much love my sister 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Happy New Year Ri! I can relate to your feelings of disappointment about the things you're still waiting on, because I had similar feelings on the evening of New Year's Eve too. I was tempted to cry but I willed myself not to (btw nothing wrong with crying), and instead told God flat out that I was disappointed, but to help me not to stay in that space and to not give up manifesting my desires into the new year. I feel that like you He is calling me to take more time to learn how to live in my present season and rediscover myself after all the therapy and growth I've been experiencing. I know the struggle is real, but we will NOT be defeated by the enemy's lies!
