It's ok to praise Jimin but not to lie based on your own opinion. He is NOT the BEST dancer in K-pop but one of the best. Taemin is considered the best overall and Kai, Ten and J-hope are all in that category.

Jimin is the laed singer and one of the Two Main dancers of BTS. This song(WHO) is part of his second album as soloist. He is insanely popular in the US and his hometown Korea. He is the first Korean soloist to get a #1 hit on BB hot 100 last year. He is very kind, selfless, lovely and a very good human being.
Jimin’s definitely one of the most popular BTS members, he’s known for his incredible dance skills (all of BTS can dance well but Jimin is exceptionally trained and was recruited specifically for his dance skills) as well as his high notes! He has such a unique vocal - he’s the LEAD vocal of BTS (meaning he and Jungkook, the main vocal, are often paired together in BTS songs and sing back to back as BTS’s major vocal powerhouses). ❣Jimin, who is also a member of BTS, growing up, since quite young age, even pre mid school, was always into hip hop & r&b music. Aside from Rain, Taeyang, & BoA, Korean idols, known not just for amazing vocals, but their dance ability, Jimin was also heavily influenced, with other role models, such as Chris Brown, & Usher. So it goes to follow he’d also appreciate other equally well known artists who also were amazing dancers & performers aside from vocal ability. It also goes without saying that Jimin, was indeed heavily influenced by MJ. He even taught Jin to moon dance for Dynamite MV, also Jimin was the one that suggested other MJ moves also for BTS song “Dynamite”. Chris Brown’s choreographer Brian Puspos who Jimin is actually close friend with, both having a mutual love admiration & respect for was the one that did the choreography for “Serendipity”. He even said that Jimin dances his choreo better then he does himself! Jimin has also worked with Puspos who restaged not only a Chris Brown song for Jimin before, but also Drake’s “Own It”. Jimin already at early age of 10, started studying hip hop at the renowned Just Dance Academy, in Busan, city where Jimin’s from, which teaches all the many different styles of hip hop. There is even a post made that shows a performance where young again 11 Jimin in 2007, not only performed already, on right front side of stage, but later on went in front and did a solo. JIMIN also competed, excelling in popping, & isolation moves, winning every competition. JIMIN also since a little boy, trained 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (blackbelt), Hapkido, Kendo, & Chinese martial arts. Media even called Jimin “The rising star of Busan” after seeing Jimin perform on stage during a huge festival. JIMIN also studied, some ballet as well as even traditional Korean dance. But Jimin’s main love was always hip hop. Though he did enjoy dancing contemporary, which Jimin indeed excels at, to this day all his dance movements, have his exquisite body placement, amazing elegant, poised, clean lines, as well as he also always stands, even without dancing, with out-turned feet, his foot positions always end up while dancing in classical out turned foot position, placement that classically trained dancers have, with extensions all the way to his fingertips, even incorporating his eyes, & facial expressions! Jimin found he could express himself even more through contemporary dance. Very few dancers have the ability to dance as many styles of dance as well as have the ability to incorporate all of them, even his gravity defying, martial arts, moves in his dance. In any kpop setup there is only 1 MAIN anything. JK was already chosen as main vocals when Jimin joined (last minute). My guess was the company did an urgent audition and recruited a dancer (Jimin) because Jhope (the main dancer) quit the group. But Jhope came back so what the heck to do. They beat the norm by keeping Jimin and also make him the 2nd main dancer and appointed him as lead vocals over 2 other vocalists that had joined earlier (who has sub-vocals positions). So that makes Jimin the only person in the group with a 1st and 2nd position, a heavy responsibility. Jimin also has a unique voice and in BTS he contributed mostly to the high range. Jimin's voice is the icing on the cake for BTS songs. He added so much color to them. Jimin studied contemporary dance and his dancing usually incorporate contemporary interpretive dancing, his performances are works of art. He has this grace that marked his dancing as "JIMIN". Yes while the choreo copied others or has whoever and whoever vibes, Jimin injected himself into them making his dancing unique. World Champion Figure Skater Yuzuru Hanyu said he studied Jimin dancing to be better at his skating. What we see in this MV is something anybody has never seen anywhere - the choreo are all made of different moves, they keep going but they moves are all different, its like a story flowing, a big part of interpretive dancing. Jimin is such a trail blazer. Other than King of Kpop he has also been voted Best Kpop dancer for 6 years in a row. Jimin is the undisputed iTunes King with 5 songs getting an ALL KILL (getting #1 on the iTunes of all 119 regions that has iTunes), WHO is set to join. Other than Jimin, V from BTS has 1 song with the AK, BTS has 1 song (actually a solo song by Jimin but under BTS album) and then nobody else, not even Taylor Swift. iTunes is one place where payola and ads cannot reach, driven solely by fans and hence we can see that Jimin is immensely popular ALL OVER THE WORLD. In a recent video interview, RM (leader of BTS) said that BTS is successful primarily because of Jimin. He added that Jimin is very visible and helps to elevate BTS. This is true, I got into BTS because of Jimin. Jimin is also known as an angel because of his angelic voice and his personality in real life always helping others and putting others above himself. 6:49 I mostly heard people saying it reminds them of different MJ music videos, the dancing and dancing on the streets etc. but I don't know the group you mentioned first talking about but I'm much older than you so maybe that's why. Dancers watching Jimin usually mention MJ, which was an inspiration to Jimin who is an amazing dancer since he was young, long before BTS was formed. Usher and Chris Brown too often mentioned, Jimin has covered Chris Brown choreo before too and been a fan of Usher since young. 8:10 Jimin is born in 1995 so he's turning 29 later this year. But he does look really young. Jimin is lead vocalist and main dancer, JK is main vocalist and lead dancer. All 4 vocalists in BTS and all 3 rappers in BTS are all very talented and good looking and we do not compare them. They each have their own style that they mastered and are the best of and they all bring their own thing to BTS and are all great solo artists. The reason BTS are so huge is because there are 7 absolutely amazing artists in one group, 7 very unique artists that make BTS so dynamic.

❣Jimin, who is also a member of BTS, growing up, since quite young age, even pre mid school, was always into hip hop & r&b music. Aside from Rain, Taeyang, & BoA, Korean idols, known not just for amazing vocals, but their dance ability, Jimin was also heavily influenced, with other role models, such as Chris Brown, & Usher. So it goes to follow he’d also appreciate other equally well known artists who also were amazing dancers & performers aside from vocal ability. It also goes without saying that Jimin, was indeed heavily influenced by MJ. He even taught Jin to moon dance for Dynamite MV, also Jimin was the one that suggested other MJ moves also for BTS song “Dynamite”. Chris Brown’s choreographer Brian Puspos who Jimin is actually close friend with, both having a mutual love admiration & respect for was the one that did the choreography for “Serendipity”. He even said that Jimin dances his choreo better then he does himself! Jimin has also worked with Puspos who restaged not only a Chris Brown song for Jimin before, but also Drake’s “Own It”.
Jimin already at early age of 10, started studying hip hop at the renowned Just Dance Academy, in Busan, city where Jimin’s from, which teaches all the many different styles of hip hop. There is even a post made that shows a performance where young again 11 Jimin in 2007, not only performed already, on right front side of stage, but later on went in front and did a solo. JIMIN also competed, excelling in popping, & isolation moves, winning every competition. JIMIN also since a little boy, trained 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (blackbelt), Hapkido, Kendo, & Chinese martial arts. Side Note: When learning Taekwondo, as a little boy, I believe Jimin said that doing the splits was one of the first things required to be able to do. Also did same for contemporary dance. He said that he'd put his legs split, up against the wall for quite long, hrs at a time. This was aside from still attending middle school Jimin, where he was already into all kinds of sports, including being part of soccer team,, but also basketball, even joined after school billiards, also excelling in track & field throughout his schooling.
Then, while going to Busan Highschool of the Arts, he then also studied & performed contemporary. Media even called Jimin “The rising star of Busan” after seeing Jimin perform on stage during a huge festival. JIMIN also studied, some ballet as well as even traditional Korean dance. But Jimin’s main love was always hip hop. Though he did enjoy dancing contemporary, which Jimin indeed excels at, to this day all his dance movements, have his exquisite body placement, amazing elegant, poised, clean lines, as well as he also always stands, even without dancing, with out-turned feet, his foot positions always end up while dancing in classical out turned foot position, placement that classically trained dancers have, with extensions all the way to his fingertips, even incorporating his eyes, & facial expressions! Jimin found he could express himself even more through contemporary dance. Very few dancers have the ability to dance as many styles of dance as well as have the ability to incorporate all of them, even his gravity defying, martial arts, moves in his dance.
There’s a reason Jimin was not only give the official title of Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist, but has been awarded the prestigious titles for 5 yrs In a row, Best Dancer in Kpop, as well as 6 yrs King of Kpop. Jimin is called Stage Commander for a reason, his stage presence is on another level. Jimin is also called “Rookies Bible” because all rookies look up to him, watching his erformances. over & over, trying to emulate, & learn from his unmatchable, flawless, precise moves. In any kpop setup there is only 1 MAIN anything. JK was already chosen as main vocals when Jimin joined (last minute). My guess was the company did an urgent audition and recruited a dancer (Jimin) because Jhope (the main dancer) quit the group. But Jhope came back so what the heck to do. They beat the norm by keeping Jimin and also make him the 2nd main dancer and appointed him as lead vocals over 2 other vocalists that had joined earlier (who has sub-vocals positions). So that makes Jimin the only person in the group with a 1st and 2nd position, a heavy responsibility. Jimin also has a unique voice and in BTS he contributed mostly to the high range. Jimin's voice is the icing on the cake for BTS songs. He added so much color to them. Jimin studied contemporary dance and his dancing usually incorporate contemporary interpretive dancing, his performances are works of art. He has this grace that marked his dancing as "JIMIN". World Champion Figure Skater Yuzuru Hanyu said he studied Jimin dancing to be better at his skating. What we see in this MV is something anybody has never seen anywhere - the choreo are all made of different moves, they keep going but they moves are all different, its like a story flowing, a big part of interpretive dancing. This is true, I got into BTS because of Jimin. Jimin is also known as an angel because of his angelic voice and his personality in real life always helping others and putting others above himself. It is to no surprise that when they made the main theme song for the Fast and Furious X soundtrack called "Angel", they invited Jimin for it.
p.s. yes this is a sad song for everyone still longing for their soulmate like Jimin. I cried when I first heard this song :( Even though Jimin sang that he see her in his mind, its likely to be a figure of speech, she exist in his mind but he doesnt know who. All 4 vocalists in BTS and all 3 rappers in BTS are all very talented and good looking and we do not compare them. They each have their own style that they mastered and are the best of and they all bring their own thing to BTS and are all great solo artists.
The reason BTS are so huge is because there are 7 absolutely amazing artists in one group, 7 very unique artists that make BTS so dynamic.

JIMIN is known for his duality both visually and vocally. He’s the guy that everyone calls “beautiful” but can also be handsome. He is known to appeal to all genders.
His voice is extremely unique. You aren’t able to hear the uniqueness in his voice as well on studio recordings. Check out some BTS lives like their tiny desk concert and it’ll showcase his unique voice more.
He’s also one of the best dancers in kpop industry. He is extremely versatile and I’ve heard a professional dancer say lots of people call dancers “versatile” but there’s always a catch to their versatility but that with Jimin there is no catch. He’s just extremely versatile.
Jimin is an amazing performer. He comes from a contemporary dancing background. He is one of the two main dancers….I cannot wait for you guys to react to THE dance leader and other main dancer J-Hope.
