Oh Gurl, you are gonna love this group. Yes, they have done some English songs. As a matter of fact, the youngest member of the group, Jungkook or JK, has an album called Golden, and it is all in English. Check JK's Standing Next to You. Kim Teahyung, stage name is V, also had a release named Friends that was recently released while he is also serving his mandatory military service. It is cute and a good representation of V's humor. The guys have a massive discography of group and solo work. They started as a hip hop group in 2013 and have grown and developed into an amazing group of artists. Some say they are world class solo artists that choose to be together. I strongly agree. They are known for their profound message in their music and precision dance live. They sell out every concert in minutes, including many of the largest stadiums in the world, (hello 2 days at Wembly). If you get serious about checking them out the fandom (ARMYs) will be happy to make recommendations, including seeing some introductory videos fans have made that give you a good foundation on who the group members are and their individual and group history and work. ARMYs (the name of the fandom that stands for Adorable Representative Mc for Youth) are a tad protective, very knowledgeable, and generally some of the nicest and most generous people I have become aware of. Jimin vocal tone is very unique and MJ esque in how naturally high his tone is. He is also an amazing dancers. All the members are talented in their own right with something special. The members include RM, Jin, Suga, jhope, V, jimin, JK.
BTS is still a group. They've always done a lot of solo work. The rappers (3 of the 7 members are rappers) released mixtapes early in their career (BTS has been together since 2013). More recently, the singers have released solo albums and songs. Right now, 6 of the 7 members are in the miliary. The eldest member (Jin) who was the first to enlist, was discharged last month. This is Jimin's 2nd solo album/EP. Everything was pre-recorded so he could release promotional videos and performances despite being out of the public eye in the military. BTS will be back together as a group in mid-2025 when Jimin and Jungkook are the final members to finish their service. As you can imagine, there is a lot of music. BTS have been very prolific, constantly releasing music since 2013. They have something like 230 songs and counting, much of which they write/produce themselves. Then they each have solo careers and lots of individual music. I'm not sure how they made it work. I think how much they genuinely love each other has a lot to do with their ability to work together so well and support each other in their solo work. They're honestly each other's biggest fans and are constantly supporting and cheering each other on.

Yoongi will almost certainly be the last member to be released. He’s due out on the 21st June 2025, IIRC. And their song count is somewhere around 400, group and solo songs. The rap line alone have over 530 writing and composition credits on KOMCA.
That's Park Jimin, the "King of K-Pop" and "Pop Prince." He's an omnidirectional and versatile artist who composes/produces/writes his music, dances in multiple styles and techniques, directs his showstopping performances, represents the highest brand reputation rankings (most in-demand idol) and sings with the widest vocal range. There's so much more to him, but Jimin never disappoints.
Jimin does not have the widest vocal range though. Jin has the widest vocal range (he can sing on 3 octaves and is the only one able to do it yet in the group), and then it's probably Tae (he reached 3 octaves and will eventually be able to sing on 3 octaves consistently). I'm honestly not sure about JK's range though (he can go pretty high but I don't know if he can go lower, I don't think so) Jimin admittedly had the weakest singing stability because of his singing style which was straining his voice a lot. I'm looking forward to hearing him sing their old songs live now that he said he took lessons to work on his basics though. I wonder how he'll sound on their old tracks now since he seemed to joke that he couldn't sing them anymore (and how it'll affect his range)

BTS is still very much a group. They took a temporary break from group music in 2022 (they still continued to release other content as a group though) and each member has been releasing solo music. Right now 6 of the 7 members including Jimin are completing their mandatory military service in South Korea. In South Korea it's mandatory for all able bodied men to serve a minimum of 18 months in the military (celebrities are not exempted). Only 1 member of BTS (Jin) has completed his service so far. And since they enlisted they've been releasing pre-recorded content and music for fans to enjoy while they are serving. BTS has been a group for over 11 years now and still going strong. It's quite possible you've heard BTS or Jungkook's songs (a member of BTS) because some of the songs have been fully English. I hope you will check out BTS and the solo music from all 7 members of BTS.
BTS is very versatile and they have a spectrum of songs of all genres. Its ok if u didn't know em yet..its never too late to become a bts army believe me. For some context, Jimin and V were born only 3 months apart, and went to high school together so they are super close. Jungkook is their “younger brother” who they absolutely adore and still baby him even though he’s almost 27. The 3 of them make up the Maknae (youngest) line and love to tease the Hyung (older brother) line, consisting of Jin, Suga, and J-Hope. And vice versa. And then you have their poor leader (think team captain) RM in the middle, trying to control all the chaos although a lot of the time he just gives up and joins in.

Alot of new listeners who arent familiar with Kpop tend to group boy bands from korea in the same group as 1 D and the other boy bands (the vamps , nsync ect.) But they are VERY different, they all dance , compose and contribute to their music and they hardly "break up" , its very common in korea for boy bands to take a break from group promotions for their mandatory military service and then return together as a whole . Once you get more familiar you will notice heres no "main guy" when it comes to these groups , sure theirs a centre and theres a main vocal however they arent put above their groups like you see in american and english boy bands.
Their hiatus is different from 1Ds. They did it because of their requirements to enlist in the military, and they already renewed their contract and have concrete plans to return together as a group in 2025. 1D’s was more of a soft breakup.
Jimin said this song is a throwback to the early 2000s (note the VCR videotape features in the mv), so the Disney pop songs you talked about are on point. Since you react to a range of content, you might like BTS for their message as well as their music. Their solo work showcases their individual talents as performers and creators. Jimin is all-rounder.. No one in kpop industry can copy Jimin dance & singing not just that he has several martial arts, acrobatic and athleticism.. Jimin combined all his talent when performing. BTS is still very much a group. They took a temporary break from group music in 2022 (they still continued to release other content as a group though) and each member has been releasing solo music. Right now 6 of the 7 members including Jimin are completing their mandatory military service in South Korea. In South Korea it's mandatory for all able bodied men to serve a minimum of 18 months in the military (celebrities are not exempted). Only 1 member of BTS (Jin) has completed his service so far. And since they enlisted they've been releasing pre-recorded content and music for fans to enjoy while they are serving. BTS has been a group for over 11 years now and still going strong. It's quite possible you've heard BTS or Jungkook's songs (a member of BTS) because some of the songs have been fully English. I hope you will check out BTS and the solo music from all 7 members of BTS.

For some context, Jimin and V were born only 3 months apart, and went to high school together so they are super close. Jungkook is their “younger brother” who they absolutely adore and still baby him even though he’s almost 27. The 3 of them make up the Maknae (youngest) line and love to tease the Hyung (older brother) line, consisting of Jin, Suga, and J-Hope. And vice versa. And then you have their poor leader (think team captain) RM in the middle, trying to control all the chaos although a lot of the time he just gives up and joins in.

Jimin has one of the most unique voices in the whole industry ! BTS released solo projects while they enlisted in their military service which is mandatory in korea , they however didnt break up and plan to reunite in 2025 and make music together again . Alot of new listeners who arent familiar with Kpop tend to group boy bands from korea in the same group as 1 D and the other boy bands (the vamps , nsync ect.) But they are VERY different, they all dance , compose and contribute to their music and they hardly "break up" , its very common in korea for boy bands to take a break from group promotions for their mandatory military service and then return together as a whole . Once you get more familiar you will notice heres no "main guy" when it comes to these groups , sure theirs a centre and theres a main vocal however they arent put above their groups like you see in american and english boy bands.
Their hiatus is different from 1Ds. They did it because of their requirements to enlist in the military, and they already renewed their contract and have concrete plans to return together as a group in 2025. 1D’s was more of a soft breakup.
The way 1D wrote twitter posts at each others and did interviews later there was not that much "soft" in it but otherwise I agree.
Jimin said this song is a throwback to the early 2000s (note the VCR videotape features in the mv), so the Disney pop songs you talked about are on point. Since you react to a range of content, you might like BTS for their message as well as their music. Their solo work showcases their individual talents as performers and creators. Each of them (RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) have their own flavor (rap, hip hop, R&B, jazz, pop, alt) and are deliberate about the content they create individually and as a group. They're like a buffet of good music. Sample and figure out what you like and go back for more. And they also do other content like a variety show and live streams, which you should watch if you need to laugh. Enjoy!
