Fanny packs are the best invention ever. I had room for my glasses in a hard case (don't want to lose them on the rides), wallet, and digital camera. You also don't need to take it off for the rides because it fits right in the space between the seat and the shoulder bars.
Brought rain jackets for the kids, but Will and I don't own any. Now that we're home, I wish we would've had light rain jackets for us as well! The ponchos were a pain in the butt lol
I find putting items in clear baggies makes it is easier to find what you need, especially in a backpack. Wondered if each child has their own autograph book.
I know you’re all having a blast. My last trip to Disney World was on a business trip, probably 10 years ago. So, it’s been a while. I guess I’m a minimalist, since I refused to carry anything. I had a pocket for my money, ID, room key card and credit card. That’s it! The best part of the trip was when at a dinner we had our photos professionally made with Mickey Mouse. 😎
I'd love to have been able to carry nothing but with the kids and the random weather changes (especially rain!), I wanted to be prepared. We did pare down what we had with us each day as we figured out what was really needed and what wasn't!
Simple Wife Simple Life the important part is you were prepared. I hope you’ve had a memorable experience at Disney. I’ve been enjoying the Instagram posts! 😎
I am taking my three siblings on a 15 day vacation and was trying to see what we will need for our 8 days in the park. The things you packed really helped me.
Although I applaud Disney for going green on their straws...they really should be constructed better because they are horrible and disintegrate in the drink! I hope security allowed the metal straws in. If not grove collaborative has bamboo ones for next time!
We ended up not bringing the straws into the park at all - we were drinking things so quickly because of how hot it was (and we'd share drinks) that the paper didn't bother us as much as we'd thought. Different feelings at dinner when we took our time lol
When I went to army boot camp EVERYBODY bought moleskin for the combat boots. I never needed it, because my boots fit fine; but most people swore by it.
Y'all should know about athletic kinestesiology tape, I swear by that stuff, sticks through going underwater and can last for days. I use in to replace bandaids.
Will is so silly. He reminds me of my big and only brother. I love the shirt he's wearing in this vlog. Great ideas for what to pack in a bag for the parks. Hope y'all are having a blast. Are you going to show the kids reaction to them finding out it's Disney and not Michigan? I love watching y'all. PS you spelt Walt wrong in the discription box.
Just try to remember that if it’s possible, before your little girl could possibly meet any of the Disney Princesses at either any of the Disney Parks or a Princess Party, try to look for the following 3 Dresses if you don’t have them already. 1: Elsa Dress 2: Rapunzel Dress 3: Princess Aurora Dress
We were prepared lol - we DID end up taking items out as the week went on that we didn't use but some things still came in REALLY handy over and over again!
Being our first time and having kids and no stroller....we'd rather have been prepared. We ended up taking some things out over the course of the week, too. Live and learn!
Would love to see your food lists for the parks!
It makes me so happy how organized you are! My entire family "made fun" of me for being so organized! 😂
I'm very organized lol
You really do think of everything and it’s impressive ! I did crack up when Will said “ you just fried my brain with that one “ Way funny 😂
Some of the stuff we didn't use, so we ended up taking things out each day that we realized weren't needed!
"Cause I did my research on food" I feel that tho
I feel like this is the BEST video I almost forgot a lot of those items!! Thank you for video!!!
Glad that it helped!

I specifically ordered a "flatter" one so it wouldn't be bulky...and then it didn't hold stuff as nicely as I'd wanted it to lol
Can you do a video on the stuff you packed but didn’t use?
YES! As we went through the week, we pared down what we carried with us into the park and that's a video we've already talked about prepping for haha
Even with the dining plan we always took small snacks, pretzels, goldfish crackers, protein bars, etc
I saw that on a lot of lists!
Good tips for any family vacation!! Not juuuust Disney. Added some stuff to my lists
Glad it could be of help!
Welcome to Florida 😊glad to see you packed sunscreen and ponchos....hope you all are having a great time.
Definitely needed both lol
I love the laminated ride card for each park!! Where can I print that ? That’s such a good idea
I found it somewhere on Pinterest! I'm sorry I didn't keep the link
Ohhh that is what I need for our trip…the search begins 😊

The mole skin is great for blisters
Yes! We used it multiple times!
Hope you brought rain jackets and maybe a light jacket. It gets so so hot here but with all the rain it gets cooler in the evening!

They shared an autograph book!

Y'all seriously act like my husband and I 😅☺
We're a little crazy ;)
Can you do a detailed video on planning and prices for taking a family to Disney
I can try to break it all down. We kind of splurged and went all out, so it wouldn't really be budget friendly lol
Kudos to you for being so organized!
Thanks, Carol!

I know you've mentioned it in the past, but what app is it that you use to make/keep your lists? I must get it!
it's called AnyList! I love that it syncs with my phone, computer AND our Amazon Alexa devices!
i hope you are have the time of your life!
We had such a wonderful week!
Loving these videos! These will be super helpful to those who are preparing for a trip to Disney too!!

I love the relationship you have with Will! So fun!
He makes me laugh constantly lol
Omg where did you get the glide outdoor one? My thighs always get destroyed while walking far in the summer in shorts!
Amazon for the win! amzn.to/31j8Fld
Y’all so cute!!
awww shucks haha
When I went to army boot camp EVERYBODY bought moleskin for the combat boots. I never needed it, because my boots fit fine; but most people swore by it.
We used it on the kids sandals for a few days (when it would rain, their crocs rubbed funny)!

Yes! I caught their reaction and it was priceless! It'll go up in the first day vlog in a few weeks! I have to organize and edit SO much footage.
@@SimpleWifeSimpleLife ok I understand with a lot of footage.
For everyone wanting to know where to get the laminated cards check list

Amazed by the sun cream only thing you can get in UK is 50+ that’s the highest
Constant interruptions were super annoying
Ok! lol
What are crack sandles
Crocs!
Kleenex in park bag
That would've come in handy a few times - luckily we were always close to someplace with napkins haha
Drunk packing
Not drunk, just happily (de)hydrated! lol
I enjoyed it you 2 are a cute couple
Good grief!!! LOL!

Welcome, new friend!
Did they let you bring in food? Like snacks in ziploc bags?
Yes! :)
Wayyy to much for me.
