I never thought her dress looked worth $40,000 until I saw it up close, and oh my gosh is it stunning! The beading detail is so elaborate, like nothing I've ever seen before in a wedding gown! Photographs does it ABSOLUTELY ZERO justice! Thats how gorgeous it is! Its entirely encrusted from head to train with bugle beads, crystals, pearls, sequin...ugh! Just jaw dropping! It must have taken 10 people to bead that gown!

First of all they were two toxic people who both were functioning substance abusers and one could not provide balance or help the other and due to that the marriage could not survive. When you looked at them you saw love but they were just two toxic people and that type of toxicity can kill and eat up any type of relationship.

If this lady, Whitney didn't have style, nobody does. This moment absolutely made Whitney the princess, even though she just wanted to be everyday people, she was the princess, still, that grew to be a queen.
And the host of guest, look like all of Hollywood came out. Seems like they recognized her as a princess, showering her with love, by their show, of attendance.
This is one time where I saw Cissy truly happy. I know in her other photos, she always wear a nice smile, but this time you could just see the joy radiating through her. A very healing moment.
For some reason, since Whitney n Bobbie Kristina death I always try to catch a video I hadn't seen before, to help me understand why this happened, to them. My reason is Whitney was very unique, and it was in her genes, she came from good stock, and coming from a family of musicians, she was born with that voice, she didn't need lots of voice training. And as Tupac said, 'nothing but pure beauty'. And having a god-mother like Aretha, to hang around, the world was her oyster.
Some people recognize her uniqueness, some don't, and some don't want to see it,(the haters, but they don't matter, God got this).
This was an outstanding, beautiful day, and I'm sure the memory, of this day stayed tucked in Whitney's mind, all her life. I disagree with the last statement about the industry and how it led to her death because she had so many people that loved her. She could've gotten the best help in the world and she decided SHE didn't want the love from her 'LOVING FRIENDS' and SHE decided she needed to continue using drugs. I agree. It's a cop out to blame the "industry". WH made choices. Part of recovering from addiction is ACCOUNTABILITY. Blaming others is not the way to fight addiction.
You all need to find the video of her autopsy. Its clear her past addiction was used against her as a big cover up. The whole situation is devastating. There are definitely many guilty demons. Whitney and her beautiful daughter deserved way more than they were dealt in the end

I loved Whitney Houston and am so sad that she died, especially in the way that she did. She had an amazing talent from God and was and will always be the voice. However, Whitney made her choices good and bad. Bobby cannot be blamed. Do I think their union was a good thing, hell no but Whitney played the ultimate part in her demise. I have no doubt that Whitney was under so much pressure from so many people, trying to live up to who people thought she needed or should be and supporting her entire family so I do feel like some of the blame should lie at thier doorsteps but Whitney did drugs before and after Bobby. Whitney was given opportunities to get help for her addiction. I miss her and am sad knowing that her presence is no longer in the world. I hope that she finally found peace and rest in her Father's bosom. Regardless of her mistakes she loved the Lord.

I don't think she set out to date trifling men. The signs were there but she chose to ignore them. Eddie never claimed whitney in public, he stood her up when she cooked a romantic meal for him , he often teased her about her hair and clothes, told his friend to tell her he was busy and not to let her in when she surprised him at his house on his birthday. Someone questioned me about my comment and asked if Whitney actually said what I wrote directly to me. Lemme say that there were several ppl at that table. Some left, returned and left again, myself included. But, to be clear, I don't have to embellish stories. For the record, I've always tried to treat celebrities like real ppl and they in turn, respond. I remember Pat Houston telling a reporter that someone who said they we're, was never alone with Whitney. I was. I asked her to come with with me at the piano. She did! Before that, the two of us sat at the bar, talking. There were others around but only Whitney and I at that bar. Everyone isn't a liar...

Whitney told Robyn back in 1982 when she handed her the bible that one day she would want a family. Robyn always knew that day would come, I genuinely believe she wanted the best for Whit, but I dont think she expected to be shut out completely. Judging by Bobby's coldness towards Robyn during courtship, she prolly knew if he ever married Whit, he would drive a wedge between them. Her worst fear came to pass. Unlike Bobby, Whitney's ex's - Eddie, Brad and Jermaine all respected Robyn/whit friendship. Having to separate from some one after 12 years of being inseparable is hard for on anyone. They coulda been like Oprah, Gayle and Steadman......but Bobby wasnt having it.

If both dated men then it would've made their journey a lot easier. They were not playing it smart. Bobby was not to be placed in the same level as the other men Whitney dated. The men before Bobby were men who were secure in their own skin and career. They weren't threatened by anything in Whitney's world for them to cause ruckus. None of them would've even agreed to get involved into her business and money like Bobby did because they had their own to worry about. Bobby on the contrary was entitled and acted as if he owned Whitney. Frankly, I don't think there is any female who would be excited to see her best friend get married to a ninja with three baby mama's and unpleasant behaviour. On the flip side, no good man would wife someone who has drug issues so I think deep down Bobby knew that Whitney wasn't the woman he would want to spend the rest of his life with but went along with the marriage for ulterior motives.

Eddie may have been attracted to whitney but encountered nippy who was a lil rough around the edges with the cussing, smoking and occasional drug use. Bobby admitted he was a fan and couldn't believe whit was interested in him, he said being with her opened him up to a new world. True.. Cos before whitney, nobody was inviting him to the white house, Oscars or introducing him to the likes of Nelson Mandela etc.. In his book he appears to regret the marriage.

This is so well done, very surprising to see the wedding invitations too. Your voice comes across as someone who knew her and sounds of some age which for me makes it very touching and personal. It has a definite love and loyalty to it. This day sealed Whitney's fate.She might as well have been wearing a black wedding dress. It brought nothing but shame, heartache, ridicule, indignity, financial ruin and chaos into her life. If Whitney wasn't as rich & famous as she was Bobby wouldn't have married her. Patti La Belle and Dionne Warwick were placing bets on how long it would last? All the warning signs were there.
Her strict religious upbringing and her career won out over what Whitney was allowed to do. Robyn was her real love.
