Meteor 65 Pro ELRS | This might be the No.1 indoor whoop! But...

- The Meteor 65 Pro is one of my favorite indoor flying whoop. It is powerful and at the same time small and light; however, the trade off seems to be the durability. I also did some additional "tuning" by slapping the mob 7 PIDs onto it and it flies much better compare to the default PIDs. The catch is it will trigger a flyaway alert so do this at your own risk if you like to try ! Anyway, i love it and i hate it!

Nice video, good info. I personally think durability is good, I have been smacking mine some fierce, and still using the stock hardware. The camera conector on the vtx did break, so I had to remove it and solder the camera to the vtx, it was a bit of a pain in the ass, but the thing is still flying and working, and it shed a bit of weight in the way lol.
Guess I’m just having bad lucks lol 😆
But I do agree this is a fun flyer
Idk if you will see this message in a reasonable time, I decided the meteor 65 pro was a good quad choice for my use for indoor flying, I have not purchased it yet, and I was watching videos. I’m curious what type of damage it has in a bit more detail? Do the frame and props snap? How does the canopy break? Are there any upgrades for if it does break or would one have to get the original parts? Also how often does it break when flying around inside? I had a cetus x a while ago, I think it would work, but I broke two vtx camera stacks and it doesn’t work with newer ELRS, so I kinda gave up on it, looking for a better one
Sorry, got flooded with messages and finally got the time to tackle them.
The 65 Pro is a pretty good flying machine, but as I was saying, the vtx is pretty easy to over heat due to not getting enough air. I had a person suggest that I drill a hole on the canopy and should resolve the issue. But my general experience with BetaFpv is kind of bitter due to unreliable electronics and customer support. So up to you to decide
In addition, this one is easier to fix due to parts are widely available compared to the Cetus X
Hello,
Great video, thank you !
I was about to buy it but I’m wondering if it’s not too powerful for a beginner level indoor.
What do you think ?
Would Meteor 65 (non pro) would be better ?
Thanks
Its actually quite ok for beginners; either one should work. But if you are looking for something that is more easy to handle, I still recommend the Mob 7 by Happymodel, it will be easier to control and much durable
Ok thank you !
But isn’t it too fast for indoor ? This is my main problem generally, especially with my actual Cetus X…
Great review sir thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
Glad you like it!
Could you do a video on how to setup flight modes please

Try this~
For me “channel 11” is always moving I think this might be because I broke a switch
What do you reccommend for indoor and outdoor : the meteor 75 pro or the cetus x?
If you like to choose between this two 75 is better, but for my personal recommendation, the Mobula 7 Is much better all round
I love mine. Prefer this to the cetus x.
Same ! The Cetus X is not freestyle able if no additional tuning is made
The vtx on my Cetus X blacks out on 400mw and has maybe 100 yard range on 100mw. I lost one vtx and FC in a crash on my other one.
@@ScottRottenFPV I had my Cetus X a week and the VTX to camera seems to have fried. Obviously a solder join crack as it will work for 5 seconds and cut out... I have messaged their customer support, see what happens! Waiting for my Meteor 65 Pro tomorrow maybe! Hope it holds out longer than a week!
What is the best goggles to use within reason? With adjustable diopter.. The flat screen of a cheap box goggles was really terrible looking and gave me a bit of double visionv
I will say Skyzone 04O Pro is a good option, Or if you can find one, get a DJI V1 with analog module. Might be your best bet
I wish there were 35mm props with 1.5mm holes
Are you trying to add bigger motors? Lol 😂
What radio are you using with this?
could you help me figure out how to bind it to the Beta FPV Lite Radio 2.0?
Hi whats ur helmet and RC please?
This particular set up is
DJI V2 + Analog Module
TX16
Hi. Could you help me please. On my Meteor65 and other tiny drone one of the motors when i do Arm is starting a bit latter than others and disbalance the drone. When it flies you don't feel it but i would like to fix it if possible. Any idea what might cause this and how to fix?
Thanks!
Sorry, don’t have a good solution yet but Try to reflash the ESC firmware to see if it works
Hello friend, is there any way you can go through your PID settings and rates.
The PID is already in the video. It flies much better compare to the stock PID
Rates are Nick Burn Rates
How is it powerful? Same thing as 75 pro?
It is powerful relatively to its class, this thing truly rips. The 75 is bigger and it equips stronger motor and larger props, so for pure power the 75 is of course much better
@SkyFpv615 HI
but I’m getting a 65 pro
