    Thank you fam Zah & CosaNostraDetroit for bring this documentary here. This is an important piece that tells the truth; tragic, glamorous, powerful, real.

    and for the record: hip hop was born in new york. bloods and crips where born in LA. the first rappers on the west coast where from the east origianally, but moved at young age to the west where they influenced there friends. bloods and crips in new york have no affiliation to b's and c's on the westcoast. they only took the names and colors because they thought it looked cool. but once it started up in new york it became just as real. but all bloods and crips kill themselves and there is no real harmony, its all just pretend bullshit. crack was invented by ronald regan and put in all the ghettos' east and west, in an attempt to get the ghetto to kill itself. but regan didnt expect the first dealers to become to successful. and gangsta rap was born

    watched the whole doc. good information. im surprised none of the original purple city stuff with the purple cars and rolex's was never documented. its cool that dipset acknowledged that they took the name from the eastside gang from before them to pay homage. but this doc never said how crack first came around, like who invented the shit. just what happened after. nowadays its some every man for himself type shit. there are plenty of smaller crew, but they are all mostly broke or have real short runs before getting killed or locked up. they are all mostly old bloods kids that are loosely affiliated with the bloods. nobody will get money in harlem like purple city and obsession where getting it ever again. the last of the crack epademic is almost faded out, and the nypd is much more effective these days, especially in the ghetto what with the gentrification and all. peace to shiest bubz, east side for life. 1

    who killed baby maine

    • @uchihasendo1041
      @uchihasendo1041 9 лет назад +2

      apparently it was niggas who was down with Pop Lotti if not Pop Lotti himself, Another G from the other side of Harlem as Baby Maine or Baby J was from Abraham Lincolns Projects. Pop Lotti was a street homie of Mase who had already had previous beef with Maine and the Mase stuff apparently made it really escalate badly.

      Lotti owed one of Maine's homies money and Maine stabbed lotti up. Lotti took one of Maine's homies car Maine went to get it back and lotti shot him up

      Jamal1846 how do you know thats the real story? but if thats true shit thats crazy

    • @Jamal1846
      @Jamal1846 9 лет назад +2

      That's the reason Maine got shot the 1st time. The second time streets say it was lotti and then in 2002 Lottie got killed in harlem at a club.
