5:00 First one might have been questionable, but the second one had more than enough room. In the future, try using your brain before hitting the horn.
Last clip, The Cammer is the problem, speeds up behind someone and rides their tail, then cries when they tap the brakes and slow down. That's what happens to tailgaters.
I thought the tapping to get you off his butt is much nicer than actually braking. 2-3 seconds behind is proper following distance for a nice day. Not about speed, it is about space.
If you’re following me with a tenth of a second gap, you’re probably going to be mad that I slow further. But slow speed crashes are more fun than high speed crashes.
Exactly! In fact, I have a sticker in my rear window that reads "The closer you get, the slower I drive". It really doesn't matter which lane I'm in. On a 3 lane interstate, I can be in the right most (slow lane) and still get tailgated. There is no answer. By the way. I am totally against the brake check. That's just as bad, if not worse, than tailgating. I always use cruise control on the highways and interstates, even in normal traffic. If a person begins tailgating me, I bump my cruise down 1-2 mph. If they continue, another 1-2 mph until they get the hint and pass me. Tailgating is simply stupid.
6:00 why are you laughing? the trucker, yourself, and the car behind you are all idiots camping in the left lane. gtf over into the right lane when you aren't passing (which you were not doing).
So many clips of arrogant self-righteous cammers, with no idea what defensive driving is, or situational awareness skills. Many need to take a chill pill and think of their family waiting at home
1:03 At first, I was going to say that there are no overhead signs telling which lanes are for turning or going straight. Those arrows are painted on the road, and they've nearly worn off from all the traffic. But then I looked on Google Street View. Turns out, about 500 feet back, there ARE signposts on both sides of the road, showing that the left lane is for left turns only, the right lane is for right turns only, and the middle lane is for straight only.
5:03 - Cammers mind... "I see this truck ahead merging into my lane. Even though I have the right of way, I could be considerate and slow down a bit, let them merge, then get on with my day, but I think, instead, I'm going to be a total jerk and ... ". Well we all saw. The cammer decided to be a jerk. That's not defensive driving at all. Being a jerk is NOT defensive driving. Cammer doesn't know what being a considerate and defensive driver means.
5:06 - what an array of interesting solar panels!! 7:20 - was probably sending a message that they were unavailable for a "former flamboyant piano player/entertainer" event - would it have hurt to slow down a bit (even if the slowing down was to less than the speed limit).
There were many clips of people doing nothing wrong and the cammer honking or complaining. If the truck comes upon a yield sign and there is room to enter and establish his presence in your lane, then it is YOUR turn to yield. Think about using your brakes sometimes, we all have to share the road.
What a lot of these cammers don't understand is how close they are getting to those in front of them. Hence all the brake checks and such. Fisheye lenses make it appear furthe away than actual distance.
More people making up their own driving rules. Starting to think that there's A LOT of people in their 20's and 30's who got very poor driving instruction when first out on the road.
3:51 - If you have to ask, you. Granted they cut you off, and you've been shredded on another channel with a much longer clip than shown here. Over all: 50 / 50 because you did nothing to avoid the collision (apply brakes).
Zipper merges, even road work based zipper merges, are so simple it baffles me how many people don't get that just going every other vehicle at the merge point works out better for everyone involved.
@@johnt.848 So many fundamental aspects of driving are just not known by so many drivers. Turn left into the first lane available. Every other car for zipper merges. Use your turn signal. Stay out of the passing lane if you are not passing. Yield at roundabouts. Then there are the things they know just fail at like parking between the lines. Turning on headlights at dusk. Stay in your lane. Check your mirrors and look over your shoulder before changing lanes. Having said all that I drive over the limit (a little) and roll stop signs sometimes. :)
No 50/50 here, that is totally the white SUV's fault. for not zipper merging properly. but more to the point for improper merge. If it is a state that actually has a zipper merge law (not many states currently have an actual zipper merge law), then the white SUV is totally SOL.
5:15 your name perfectly describes that situation, but youre the idiotic 1. That truck had plenty of space to merge in front of you. 'Thats Idiotic' to lay on your horn like you did. Didnt even need a tiny beep for how they merged. I dont condone brake-checking, but if the truck had done that, I wouldve understood. They slowed down, forcing you to slow down, but youre lucky they didnt brake-check.
All of these videos are of people crying that they got cut off, he/she pulled out in front of me, he/she brake checked me, wah, wah, wah. Grow up, the people that did these things don’t care about you and your feelings. So deal with it!
6.57 yes he is going slow but he flashed his brake lights to tell you to get out of his boot ffs!

why do people swerve instead of hitting the brakes? So many dumb cammers
Isn't it amazing what the application of brakes can accomplish? Or in some cases the lack thereof.
7:15 cammer is tailgating and complains about the car in front touching their brakes.
I thought the tapping to get you off his butt is much nicer than actually braking. 2-3 seconds behind is proper following distance for a nice day. Not about speed, it is about space.
So many clips of people speeding up to "near crashes" and people unaware that racing up to someone's back bumper isn't going to make them disappear.
If you’re following me with a tenth of a second gap, you’re probably going to be mad that I slow further. But slow speed crashes are more fun than high speed crashes.
They're cheaper, too.

6:20 What a close call!
5:32 Enough with the long horn blowing! That can trigger road ragers.
6:00 why are you laughing? the trucker, yourself, and the car behind you are all idiots camping in the left lane. gtf over into the right lane when you aren't passing (which you were not doing).
Yeah I’m not sure why cammer was hogging left lane

Exactly and the car had enough room for it to be a reenable merge! Even tho they had the yield sign

5:18 in. Learn to drive dude. That was a text book merge by the work truck. Just stay home. You’re the problem!!
Blair Scott video why is the cammer hogging the left lane

The white vehicle is at fault as they tried to bully their way ahead by attempting to speed past instead of merging behind as they should have.
