The first run though there's no clue about the samples. Bungie needs to restructure the intro mission with a bit of a tutorial about the hammer to get you into the habit.

Same. I can't stand these videos starting halfway into something that people don't even know how to start. It's like asking how to fix a flat tire and getting a video showing you how to put hub caps back on.
There’s almost no point spending an extra 5 minutes getting samples when you can be half way through your next run. 90% of the rewards are from completions. At least on expert
