    The most important message is at 4:21 where he talks about creating emotion. that. bit.

      Petrucci is unbelievable. Tremonti too but different. Tremonti writes better riffs IMO. Petrucci better solos

    105 is a little slow for down picking. it did seem like he was playing much faster than that.

    • @alessiocristofoletto9466
      @alessiocristofoletto9466 6 лет назад

      RNA MUSIC I think is playing 16th notes at 105 bpm, which is like playing 8th notes at 210 bpm

  • @robertolsen9721
    @robertolsen9721 4 года назад +1

    No use for me to struggle with my last mistake until I got 105 bpm down. This is really my weakness, I can almost play Technical difficulties with Racer X but far from this kind of rhythm playing.

    I asked Mark a couple of years ago if he can down pick as fast as Hetfield. He didn't say yes put it that way!

  • @Crashroom9

    With his down picking exercise what are the subdivisions he suggest using at 105bpm? Is it 8th, 16th, 32nd, etc.?

      I know - it was a small room and we had only one spot for the camera. You can see I moved it in the middle, and then took myself out of the shot! Always something!
