Thank you Sylvia! I am so happy with the skirt! Can't wait to make another one - I snapped up some deadstock wool from Maai Design last week with the skirt in mind!
Thanks Izzy! The timing of the challenge seems to work well for being able to mix in my knits as well as the sewn items. In fact it was following along with Me Made May a few years ago that inspired me to start knitting in the first place!
Hi Sarah. I love what you wear and make. It is always interesting and inspiring. I really love your hand knits and your Anthea Blouse. I think you put together your outfits beautifully. I need to take a page from your book when it comes to fabric and the items you choose to make. Loved this video ❤❤
Thank you so much Katrina! I am really enjoying Me Made May and working out what I truly like to wear and what fits into my lifestyle! It's really given my sewjo a boost too!
Thanks Nancy! I think I'm getting better at working out what items will fit in with my style and my current pieces. Adding more solid-colour items to my wardrobe has helped a lot! 😄
Thank you for such a thoughtful viideo; I appreciate the way you explain your requirements for the day and then show what you wore and how it worked out. That Billie dress with the beanie hat was so dang cute! And perfect for a party in the park. All your makes are beautiful, though! Those Pomona pants are fab. Your MKAL shawl drop-dead gorgeous and that whole outfit is 💯
Oh you are welcome Kath! Zoe has lots more to say on her podcast and on her instagram posts too. It's such a welcoming challenge that anyone can make work for them! I love it.
Loved your video's going over your me made outfits! I liked your Day 4 best though all your days looked great on you and can see you are comfy in all of them! Love how you have really integrated your knit items with your sewn wardrobe. That's a challenge for me!
Thanks Barbara! Day 4 was the comfiest day of all, and an outfit that I wear most Saturdays! 😆. I love it too, and I am so happy to be getting some wear out of my shawl after months of hard work. I am definitely trying to be very deliberate in planning my sewing / knitting makes to be wearable with current items these days. I am trying to really consider how much wear things will get, and how I'll integrate new makes in, which I think has really helped me! I have one knitted jumper I haven't worn yet this month, as I find it hard to know what to pair it with. I'm going to try and wear it in Week 3... but I think I'm going to need to plan a new "bottom" to get more wear out of that one...
Sarah, so many beautiful makes! Your knitted tops are really beautiful. I agree with you re the Sunday Sweater being a bit loose and shapeless beyond the yoke. I don't think it was your blocking, I think it's just the pattern. I think the Pattern Emprorium Keep It Simple Babe tee pattern might fit your 'nice but not too fitted' bill if you've not see it before. It's described as semi-fitted and has a bunch of neckline and sleeve options. I've made it a couple of times, but I actually prefer a more fitted top so I'm the opposite to you. Anyway, yes, keep sharing your MMM outfits! Loving seeing them. x
Thank you Faith! That tee really does look so versatile - I should get it! I think for me the key will be choosing the right fabric. I am interested in making a merino layering top - I've never done that before, so maybe this is a good opportunity. It's funny about the Sunday Sweater - I looked up the picture on the product page and even the designer is holding hers behind her so that it bunches up and you don't see the way it naturally drapes! I do love it tucked though, so I'll keep wearing it. Glad you enjoyed the video - I'll aim to keep them going through May. ☺️
Thanks Rachael. Honestly, I love the York Pinafore so much! It gets warn all year - I realised I've actually made 4! So I have a bright one I wear in the summer, as well as three darker ones that get worn the rest of the year with various layers!
Beautiful Sarah!!
Thank you so much Louise! xx
Loved everything you had on. All lovely and your knitting is lovely as well.
Thank you Moira! ☺️
SO lovely to see your makes Sarah, love that Clo bias skirt. Looking forward to next week. Hugs
Thank you very much Jeni! I love my Clo bias skirt too - the colours are just so pretty!
Loved this video. Thank you.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you Michelle. 🥰
Beautiful makes ❤
Thank you very much!
Such beautiful outfits Sarah 😊 I love the new skirt!

Loved this video - your outfits are gorgeous and I really like the mix of sewn and knitted garments.

Can't pick a favorite, but I appreciate your thoughtful comments on the makes. Love your style!
Thanks Theresa! I am finding it so helpful to be deliberately reflective about what is or isn't working in my wardrobe!

@SoSarahSewed don't stop your bold patterns altogether though. It's your signature 😍
@@nancyhilborn885 Don't worry, I could never! Just making solids to ensure I can get plenty of wear out of the bright patterns. 😄
All beautiful makes you are very talented .
Thanks Linda, that is very kind of you!

Thank you so much Diane! I was especially excited to finally get to wear my MKAL shawl out and about! 😀
Love your outfits and that jumper you're wearing today is amazing!
Thank you so much! I do love this jumper - have to try and find ways to make sure I'm wearing it more often!
Thanks for explaining the me made may history - I didn’t know the backstory. ❤ all your outfits look beautiful 😍

Your knitted tops are just wonderful! And they pair so well with skirts. I think I need to make the York pinafore!
